Monday is ^Skylars^ angels day, I consider today April 27th to be her angel day since she died 2 times on me april 27th and died 23 minutes into April 28th..I am thankful. I look at some people and think wow... although I am SO sad cuz I miss my girl ever passing year I am blessed...I have Soooo many people in my life that love me and helped me through life when I lost my sweet girl. I have an awesome boyfriend and although he drives me nuts an amazing son... Skylar was taken from me for what reason I dont understand!! Or do I???? She taught me strength, passion, patience, courage, fear, hurt, happiness but you know what... She taught me how to love!!! That girl the 7 years 10 months 4 weeks and 3 days I had her were the best days of my life!!! I LOVE to talk about her and even cry about her, not for pity!!!! To keep her alive!! So when I do talk about her, I dont want to hear sorry! For WHAT???? Im not sorry her life was short I am BLESSED I had her 7 years longer than the doctor said. I am HAPPY she was with me. YES my heart has died with her and I would do anything for her not have that horrible disease of SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) but she is MY daughter and I love her just as much as an angel! I miss my sweet perfect "unperfect" angel. We WILL meet again!!!!!!!!!!

I just met Alberta through Facebook and she was telling me your story and gave me this beautiful website to look up. We are both watching Lily the Black Bear & have agreed that a new cub should be names Sky and I think she is going to write the Bear Center and tell your story in hopes of having a bear cub named after your beautiful daughter. Tracy, I just found out about skyler and all ive done is cried. I can say im sorry, but that dont help the pain, i can tell you that now she is free of her pain and no more suffering,but thats not going to help the pain, i can tell you now she is in a better place,and thats not going to help the pain. See i lost my son Kaiden wills to sma octomber 9th of the year, so i know what you are going through! Nothing stops the pain, nothing stops the missing them, and nothing stops the feeling of sometimes wanting to die yourself.See Kaiden was all i knew for 6 years too and he was my whole world, it has been 7 months since his passing and everyday is so unbearable without his beautiful face for me to see , and days seem to be getting harder enstead of getting better. I pray for you like i pray for me that God just be with us and help us everyday with the pain and lose of our little angel, and for everyone that had lost a child. God knows we are going to need him, and the only thing that even might make it not so overwhelming is to know that there not gone forever and that one day we will see our little angels again. Wow-what an update! I remember the night I almost lost Tabby....it was the most scariest feeling I have ever had in my life and I thought right then that it was too soon for her to leave me.

I'm so sorry to hear about Skylar. I am praying very, very hard for a reversal of the state of her health. She is very strong and I am inspired by her. I pray that she WILL see her 7th Birthday. May the Lord watch over her and protect her. God Bless all of you and may He give you all comfort and strength. My thoughts and my prayers are with Skylar and you all.

Dear Tracy, So sorry to hear about Sky. It's so hard trying to prevent infections sometimes with longstanding tubes, etc. Thank God she responded so well. She's such a "trooper" and always has been. I love you, Skylar Elizabeth! I'm SOOOOOOO glad that you are HOME! Turo and I are working on that trip to come see you for your birthday, do you think you can handle having TWO wild, little boys to torture you? Hopefully Turo's big sisters will keep him in line and he won't torture us all, too much. Give your mommy some love from ^Kalair^ and me, and tell her to call me if she has any GJ concerns that I might be able to help with. Having a GJ tube was not Aunt Liz's favorite thing either, but Kalair did have one for four whole years and she liked it, even if Aunt Liz thought it was a PAIN! I love you, princess. Give ^Kalair^ and ^Malia^ some love from me too when you see them, okay? Tomorrow is Malia's birthday so make sure you give her extra birthday smooches from her little brother, her daddy, and her "Aunt" Liz, and tell both of our angel girls to watch out for their balloons tomorrow. We love you, sweet princess, and we are SOOOOO glad that you are home! And speaking of silly, little brothers, Turo is yelling at me to get off of the computer so I'd better run. I hope your nurse gave you that kiss from me, but tell your mommy to give you another one and I will be calling her again soon. (((HUGS))) from Kansas to PA and from heaven to PA too...

Hello girls-
Tabby has never had any spinal issues, but we have a friend that has been going to a hospital in Texas for surgery for her scoliosis. I will talk to her and try to get the name of the hospital and doctor for you, but atleast there's something to go on!
