Prayer Bears Lynn Worley <aprayerbear@gmail.com> Seattle, WA USA - Friday, May 9, 2008 11:04 PM CDT Dear Connie,, Jeffrey was remembered in Holy Eucharist this afternoon. A beautiful young boy was baptized. I have known Sean's dad and grandparents for a long time. It is always special to observe a baptism and to renew my own baptismal covenant during such a service. I wonder how many times that would be, if I could count them all. When the Eucharist was over, I stayed in church, a while, as I almost always do, to pray for you, and also to pray for other parents, whose children are in heaven. In going over some guest books tonight, I noticed one of the other mothers has posted several pictures of her children playing ball. We had one large blue ball, that we used in the pool, which was almost too big for an adult to catch, as well as pails of golf balls, Nerf balls, basketballs, bouncy balls, tennis balls, four square balls, footballs, and many other kinds. I know Jeffrey had a keen interest in baseball and also played golf, so I am sure you had a garage full of balls, too. God bless you always. Grace, peace, love, and all good, ~Colette Collect For The Seventh Sunday In Easter: O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Prayer Bears Lynn Worley <aprayerbear@gmail.com> Seattle, WA United States - Friday, March 28, 2008 9:06 PM CDT Happy Easter Connie and Family! Jeffrey was remembered at the Easter Vigil, at St. George's. He is always in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you always. Grace, peace, love, and all good, ~Colette Today's Collect: Almighty God, who through your only begotten Son Jesus Christ overcame death and opened to us the gate of everlasting life: Grant that we, who celebrate with joy the day of the Lord's resurrection, may be raised from the death of sin by your life-giving Spirit; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. +++ Lynn W., thanks for posting the lyrics to that hymn. The first verse is familiar to me, but I am not sure if I have ever seen most of the rest of it. May God bless you. Colette Clifton Park, NY U.S.A. - Sunday, March 23, 2008 1:30 PM CDT When I was thinking about today this hymn came to mind immediately so I wanted to share it today. Know that I'm praying! 1. There is a fountain filled with blood Drawn from Immanuel's veins, And sinners plunged beneath that flood Lose all their guilty stains. 2. The dying thief rejoiced to see That fountain in his day; And there have I, as vile as he, Washed all my sins away. 3. Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood Shall never lose its power Till all the ransomed Church of God Be saved to sin no more. 4. E'er since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme And shall be till I die. 5. When this poor lisping, stammering tongue Lies silent in the grave, Then in a nobler, sweeter song I'll sing Thy power to save. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Prayer Bears Lynn <aprayerbear@gmail.com> Seattle, WA United States - Friday, August 17, 2007 11:52 PM CDT Besides picking the verse one of the hardest things I do is try to find different ways to say "I'm praying." I'm praying for your family! Psalms 5:1-3 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Prayer Bears Lynn <aprayerbear@gmail.com> Seattle, WA United States - Friday, August 10, 2007 4:44 PM CDT Hi Zach, Helen, Jerry and Girls, It sure seems funny not getting ready to go back to school. I am already babysitting Mason, Bridget's little boy. We are already working on sounds...animals. He has the Hh sound down because a dog goes HHH with his tongue out. It is alot of fun but I am already missing my school family. I do plan to sub once the beginning of school is over but probably only at Northern. I am afraid of the older kids!!! Just got my email up and running at home but am not on here but about once a week. You know me and computers never did get along. Take care and know that you are always in my prayers. Let me know if I can do anything for any of you.
