Saturday, March 12, 2005 7:28 PM CST Everyone is doing well. We are very sorry for taking so long to update Stefan’s web site. He’s been doing wonderful and keeping us plenty busy. All of the scans done in October and January came back clean. The next set of scans will be done mid-year.
Stefan had his ups and downs initially with the structure at school. He’s shown much improvement since the beginning of the year. He loves reading and finds it amazing that he can discover things on his own, although his favorite subjects are still gym and recess!
We feel that it’s time to move on and we’ll be closing this website in the next few weeks. There is not a day in our lives that we do not stop and think about how much our lives have changed since Stefan was diagnosed with such a horrible disease. We thank God every single day for giving us every moment to enjoy and for giving us such a wonderful family and group of friends to get us through our toughest moments. Without the amazing power of faith, prayer and all your support we would find it hard to go on. We will forever be deeply grateful to all of you.
Through out this journey we have met wonderful people including our incredible group of doctors that devout their lives to save our children. We would like to ask you to pray for all the children battling cancer, for all the families who have lost a child to cancer and for the medical community to someday find a cure.
We believe that everyday is a new blessing and we thank God for that, and we keep praying for Stefan to stay in remission.
With much love,
Andrea and Arni
