YEAH!! An update!!!! (I hear you sister...we need about 8 more hours each day and 4 more hands and some extra patience thrown in for good measure!)

Love the update---sounds like you have been busy and having fun with your precious lttle pumpkins!! They are just so beautiful---I love seeing Rafaels face lit up when he smiles. Sounds like you have your hands full--oh yeah--us too---dont you just love the questions and comments they make---I've said it before and I'll just keep saying it---I think they are the most interesting people I have ever met! Just so funny!

Can you send over some pics of Natalias wedding...Id love to see some...And Debi---I cant believe you let Otis go and have all that fun---with Mothers Day so close--you really could have played that trump card better!!!

I really can't believe how quickly the children have grown---it is really amazing to think not that long ago we were wondering when "our time" was going to come huh!! WOW!!

Keep enjoying life---keep having fun ---and keep updating to let us know what is going on....and hey---all those vacations---how about one to sunny Southern California!!!!

Wow! What an incredible vacation you are having. Deb-- We all KNOW that we Moms especially enjoy the journals and reliving our trips to Bogota. Today tho, was Loren's day. He came into the office to look over my shoulder, I'm sure making sure I wasn't at one of his favorite computer sites, and saw the zoo picture, and just from the front page remembered and said "the zoo?" including the inflection for the question. So we looked for more pictures on the photo page, which he studied so carefully and then he went to get our own photos from our visit there a year ago. Thanks for the happy moment that turned into many more looking through our own pictures.

Happy 1st Birthday Sergianni!!!

It is hard to believe that a year has passed already!!! Where does the time go??? Just kidding.....I know where it goes, we also have a 1 year old. Boy, they sure keep us busy!!! Sergianni is as beautiful as ever!!! She will be walking before you know it. It sounds like her and Domenic have a lot in common as far as what they like to play with. Domenic has mastered turning the TV on and off. He holds that remote like a real man!!! He also knows how to turn the phone on and off. I recall being a student at Fowler High School and having Otis Jennings as a speaker, and what started out as a typical, get out of class assembly, ended up with hundreds of high school students being mesmerized by this man, that until that day, we had never known. Combine that with one of the most wonderful, kind, beautiful women I have ever met and you have just found yourself the "perfect" parents for Sergianni. I have never in my life READ something that made me cry, until today. As blessed as you feel to have Sergianni, she is every bit as blessed to have the two of you as her parents. Otis, we were so moved by the acknowledgements you made in your last journal entry! God has not only blessed you with Sergianni but He has blessed us, Families of FANA, with you and Debbie.

Jerri, Betty, Annette and Mercedes are amazing people as so many other key players are in this entire process. Families of FANA truly has a wonderful support network. Barbara and I cannot imagine adopting a child any other way.

Thank you for lifting up all our birthmothers..... they are at times the forgotten ones. Barbara and I continue to pray for Sammy's birthmother especially around his birthday and Mother's Day. We ask our Lord and Saviour to bless her with His love, comfort and wisdom. We ask God to provide her with the support she needs, the dignity she deserves and the love that she is so worthy of. She is the true hero in all of this. Enough cannot be said of the birthmothers. We know that Jesus is holding her in His hands.

Happy belated Father's day Otis! Sergianni is one lucky girl. And may Debbie's "ROMANTIC IMAGINATION" run overtime! :)
