You are lucky to have Nick and Corinne and they are very lucky to have you. I've watched your family grow and now it's complete. It's a privledge to know two people like you, who have love in their hearts, courage, hope, perserverance and determination to make a "HUGE" difference in the lives of two children. I know that we never anticipated the twists and turns that our lives have taken us through. Though we always thought we would have our children at exactly the same time, it didn't turn out that way. But, now you have two beautiful children and I am so happy for you! I can share all my 'advice'(sometimes unasked for) and 'pearls of wisdom' with you and you can share all the 'firsts' and 'milestones' with me. I will have a new 'driver' at about the same time you will have a new 'walker'. Reading e-mails from you helps me to remember the 'baby times' with my kids. I say that with Carolyn in mind, but I also say that thinking back to the day in church when you turned around and said to me, "You have such a nice voice!" I was certain you must have heard someone else, but maybe God changed my voice so you heard something better than what actually comes out of my mouth! (giggle) Anyway, had the four of us realized at that moment how intertwined our futures were going to be, we most certainly would have been awestruck to say the least. Peter, Matthew and I are so lucky to have such wonderful friends to walk through life with, to support us and care for us, and to be two steps ahead of us in FANA.
