Dear Justyn and Family,

It is so good to read of Justyn's excellent progress! So many of the CaringBridge children do not have a good prognosis, and I know you are all thankful that Justyn is recovering.

I hope Justyn has a wonderful birthday! I hope he can have many of his favorite foods over the weekend and lots of fun playing. I am sure he will enjoy his ice cream and cake!

Keep hanging in there, and God bless you all!

Dear Justyn and Family,

I will be thinking of Justyn, as he approaches his birthday, next Sunday. It hope he has a really special birthday weekend and a lot of pleasure antiscipating his celebration.

When my youngest son was in kindergarten, he told his teacher, "A day without books is no day at all." I hope Justyn feels the same way. Read together, as often as possible. Reading is sooo much fun, and it strengthens the family and helps children do well in school.

God bless you all!

Grace and peace,

Justyn, I received an e-mail from a co-worker asking me to say some prayers for a boy that had been hurt. Ever since then, I've been visiting this website and praying for you. The things I've read remind me of my 7 year old boy. You're amazing, and I just know that you will continue to get better and stronger everyday. Keep up the good work!!!!

Well Justyn went home today and let me tell you all that the first thing that we did was we went to the bank and he had a few checks that he wanted to deposit into his very own fund account that my sister had set up so THANK YOU ALL for sneding just those wounderful gifts he loves $$$$$. Second thing we did was we went and got some real FOOD we went to Friendlys YUM YUM YUM!! Then off to play some miniture golf Justyn loves that just as much as swimming I think! Then we headed home to see SNOOPY. Snoopy was so so so excited he had to lick Justyn's face right off. Then for the first time in almost a month the three of us took a long needed nap together. It felt so nice to just lay there in our own bed in our own house cuddled up all together. Well Sunday is a NEW DAY. Oh Yeah Kody if you are reading this then I'll tell you that Jusyn's favorite color is GREEN!!!! Dave, Justyn and I would really like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who signed Justyns guestbook, with out all of you I really could not imagine where Dave and I would be, you all kept us up!! LOOKING FOR A MIRACLE

Looking for a miracle with faith,
I will not be alone in my dismay.
God’s love holds me close,
Taking my doubts faraway.

God holds me in His caring hands,
Shielding me from every hurt.
He gives me the will to look beyond,
For a miracle with His loving comfort.

Though my road has become rough to bear,
Sickness has invaded the serenity known.
I will look for that miracle with hope,
Knowing I never stand alone.

You're Love and Strength is what has gotten all of you to this point. You all know that there is still a long road ahead, yet that is the easier road. I am so happy for all of you. Give that boy a HUGE HUG from me. He deserves it.

Well buddy what a great weekend we had - huh? I am still in awe of your progress. Each time I visit you (everyday) there is so much more to be happy about. Yesterday when we were talking about colors, you reminded me that George is a name not a color. When I asked you who I was you said .. DUH Nanny, made me laugh. When Pop and I got home from the hospital I still had grass in my hair, great shot. When I think back to two weeks ago I am so grateful to all our many friends old and new who have kept you in their prayes, it is truly amazing. I have been taking pictures of you each time I am at the hospital and the people who have seen them just can not believe how well you are doing. I tell them it is the power of prayer.
I will be leaving the office in about 45 minutes, looking forward to the new things I will experience with you today.

I love you buddy, see you in a few.

At dawn I imagine Justyn stirring
At dusk I see him running.
Little bronzen body against the purple setting-sun sky.
Searching in his joy for one more chance to play
If baseball: one more hit, time for one more pitch, one more run.
And on days that rain, no matter.
There is always one more reason to take the matchbox car once more round the track (across the couch) just once more.
The sun never sets for Justyn in Summer, he waits patiently surrounded by the heartbeats of family and friends...a pause in the day's occupation that is known as chilren's hour.

Justyn and family- I am just amazed at the progress you have made in just a week's time. God must've been listening to all those prayers! I hope you continue to do as well and are up and about in no time. I have a nephew (Lucas) who just turned 7 on July 14th. We had a party yesterday for him at Grandma & Grandpa's house. His mom, Heidi (my sister)is pretty sick and in need of a lung transplant. If you get a chance- maybe you can stop by her website and leave them a message. They'd love that. Beth

Good Morning Bratto. I hope you and your mommy had a restful night. I will be up to see you during my lunch today. It is an exciting day for you. Today you start with the steps that will get your recovery moving. I love you and want to thank you for the wonderful kisses you gave me yesterday. I expect a few more today so be ready.

Jenn: I am really sorry that life has thrown us such a curve ball. It will get better with time. There will be times that you feel you have no control over Justyn but remember, this is the best thing for him right now. Keep smiling and turning your face to the sun, because things are only going to keep getting brighter. I just know they will. We love him too much for it not too. See you later.

I learned about your accident through Cheyenne Fiveash's page. I am amazed at how well you are doing. My daughter had a very serious 4-wheeler wreck when she was 13 (she is now 19) and she didn't eat for about two weeks and you are doing great. With the help of God, we survived that scary ordeal and I know that you will too. I will keep you in my prayers. I understand a lot of what you are going through having been there myself. Justyn, right about this time a week ago our world began to crumble. But through the power of prayer you are on your way to a full recovery. Each and every time I have been at the hospital we have had a progress day. You have been working so hard. This afternoon when you sat straight up in the bed it made my heart smile. You, Mom and Dad have had a real scarry week, this is now behind us. We look forward to the progress you will be making this week. I will be at the hospital bright and early and await your transport to Sunnyview, where they will be working you hard.

My computer was down for a couple of days so I couldn't sign your book - so here I am.

Every day has seemed like a day full of little miracles. Amanda and Zachary can't wait to go swimming in Nanny's pool and getting yelled at by you. Uncle Scottie loves you. We are back up on out way to see you so stay awake until we get there.

You made everyone so happy when you said Mom! And then you hugged her! YOU ARE THE BEST! I told you they'd get rid of that big ol' thing on your neck if you used your words.

I am so proud of you. Keep up the healing baby. You'll be back in Nanny's pool in no time.

Jenn,
As difficult as it was for me to visit with you yesterday, I'm very glad I did. Justyn is a beautiful child and you are one heck of a Mom. You hang in there, it gets better everyday. You'll both be home sooner than later.

Hey Big Guy,

I just got home from seeing you & your Mom. You drank TWO glasses of juice while I was there! Wow, you must have been thristy! And you got washed up. Your Mommy and the nurse took real good care of you! And Mommy put lotion on you and I even think I saw you smile, just alittle when Mommy was putting that lotion on you.
Now, I know that thing around you're neck is buggin' ya bud. Listen, I'll let you in on a little secret ...shhhhh.... All you have to do is say "Hi" to the doctor and to Mommy. Then maybe they'll take that durn thing off.
And ya know what else! Amanda & Aunt Nicki came to see you right before I left. Amanda Loves you very, very much. She is so sad that she has to come see you there. So, how about you make Amanda feel better and say hi to her too when you see her. And tell her you love her. And give her a hug.

Oh, one other thing Justyn, don't pick your scabs!

Well, bud I guess I'll have to get moving here. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed our visit and I'm so glad that I went to see you. You are a beautiful little man. No wonder your whole family loves you soooooooo MUCH!

Justyn, Jenny, and Dave, From seeing you guys on MOnday and then seeing you again Friday is a huge change for the better. You guys are truly my heroes. The love I have always had for you guys has grown so strong that I wish I could be around you every second. Justyn is an extraordinary little boy who has come so far in such a short period of time that I know he will just continue to improve and amaze everyone. I am so happy everytime I see all you guys together just supporting and loving one another so much. That is a gift that many families have never had. And it makes me feel so good to be around all that love. It radiates so strong off of each and every one of you. You can feel it here from Becka and she is in Minnesota. That is awesome. Thank you Becka for this webpage. It is the most amazing experience I have ever been a part of. I know I am rambling a bit. But my visit w/Justyn last night has moved me so spiritually that I dont know if I will ever stop talking about it. I have faith in God now when I have questioned it so many times in the past. I love you guys and stay close, strong, and positive and Justyn will back to himself in no time. Love, Kristin

Good Morning Justyn,
It's 20 minutes to six in the morning and I couldn't wait to see how you are doing. This site your Aunt Bekah created is a wonderful thing!
It's wondeful that you are opening your baby browns for everyone to see. From all that I've read, ya got some fight and fire in ya little man.
I know it's scary to wake up some place that you don't know. Now don't be too scared though 'cause Mommy & Daddy have been there with you the whole time. And you're in a great place with lots of really good nurses and docs helping you out.
From what Aunt Bekah says, they're thinking of moving you to another place. That place will help you get better too.
Hey Bud, I have a favor to ask you. Will you say hi to your Nanny for me? I really like your Nanny, she's pretty cool.
Well, get some more rest big guy. I'll stop in later today to see how you are doing.

Justyn, I had visited you on Wednesday and again tonight. On Wednesday, I must not have pressed on the correct button or something but I did type a message that went something like this: I have a prayer that I am inviting everyone to pray for Justyn. His Great Nana used to say this prayer each night (so I was told by Justyn's Great Aunt Em). INFANT OF PRAGUE Novena Prayer: O Jesus, Who has said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you." Through the intercession of Mary, your Most Holy Mother I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer be granted. (make your request) O Jesus, Who has said, "All that you ask of the Father in My name, He will grant you." Through the intercession of Mary, your Most Holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask your Father in your name that my prayer be granted. (make your request) O Jesus, Who has said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away but My word shall not pass away." Through the intercession of Mary, your Most Holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted. (make your request). If Great Nana were here today I am sure she would insist God has assured her you have much in store for you. Our entire family is a very strong and faithful one. I will continue to pray for a full recovery. Stay stong Justyn.

Amanda, I thank God for you. You were there when Justyn needed you. Keep being the wonderful person you are.

Love to you and see you soon, Anut Shirley

Please know that we are also praying for your healing very quickly also. I bet those cuts really hurt. You don't need infection in there, so you be careful. Also, don't you keep feeling bad about the accident, it could happen to anybody. As a matter of fact, my little girl Cheyenne crashed her's just a couple months ago. Hi there good buddy, we just got home from the hospital and I need to express how much better I feel. Watching you heal, being able to hold your hand, and today seeing both of those beautiful brown eyes of yours. You made my heart smile. Your Mom & Dad feel so much better it is like a 10 ton brick has been lifted off their shoulders. Who would have thought just 98 hours ago we were so full of grief, so scared we were going to lose you. It seemed like forever, but the power of prayer has brought us this happy day. Each day we will take a small step together, holding each others hands and plugging forward. Soon everything will be back to normal. I love you and will see you the first thing in the morning.

Hey there buddy! It is funny that I keep checking back for updates BUT yet I am the one who is putting them on there ... I must be losing my head huh? I thought I would let you know AGAIN how much I love you and that I wish so much that I could be there for you and with everyone waiting and waiting and waiting to hear your little voice ... I miss you more now that I ever have and I am sorry I live so far away! Jaden was talking about you last night in the bathtub ... I was cleaning out the buckets of sand she seems to get in her hair all the time and I noticed a scratch on her head ... I said "wher'd you get the boo-boo on your head?" Well her reply was "My Justyn has a boo-boo too, he apposed to wear his helmet!" She can't get it out of her head that you must not have had a helmet on or you wouldn't have gotten hurt ... we all know you would've been worse if you weren't wearing it huh bud? Uncle Jason misses you too and asks how you are evrytime I call him ... he really hopes you get better soon! We will be there to visit for Thanksgiving but that is not nearly soon enough! I am really glad we got to talk on the phone Friday morning even if all you kept saying was "WHAT!" I love you Justyn and I will talk to you SOON!

Jen ~ Get some rest and some food ... I love you and you are an inspiration for so many ...

Dave ~ Thanks for being there for my sister ... I love you

Justyn, you don't even know us, but we received an e-mail from Todd's mom who is a friend of one of your relatives (I don't know which one). It just broke my heart to hear about your accident. You are the same age as my nephew in Gansevoort. I have been checking the web site a couple times a day to see how you're doing. You sure are lucky to have a great aunt like your Auny Bekah who created this web page to keep everyone informed - she is even changing out the pictures of you so we can all see you growing up!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you progress through your recovery. We sure hope that you're feeling well again soon! This time is very hard for your parents and family. We send them our wishes for the strength to get through this and back to better times!!

Hey buddy it's Nanny again. Pop just woke up so we should be there in a few minutes. Justyn when you are well we have a lot of thanking to do, first we will go to church and light a big candle for all our prayers - oh the power of prayer. We will need to keep all our "special friends" in our prayers. This accident taught us the true meaning of love and to all of you I give my sincerest thanks. To all my friends at work - where do I begin to say thank you. When you are in crisis you really don't even think about eating, but if it is there you will. You wonderful people have supplied my house with enough food to even feed my family, and we know that is not easy. I had some Cream Cheese frosting, are you surprised.

Love to all.

Hi there favorite 2nd grandson, Pop and I just got home after spending the night with you. You had a good night. Your flight nurse stopped in to see you, her name is Jennifer Nicholes, she was glad to see your progress and was amazed at how different you looked since the night of the air lift. She is encouraged, she asked us to promise her that you will never be on a ATV again, I said "I promise - NOT AT MY HOUSE". I am going to give Aunt Bekah a call so she can put the update on your site. We are waiting for you to wake up - see you in a couple of hours,

Love ya, Nan and Pop

Hey little man,

Some day when you are all healed up and doing great maybe somebody will read these entries to you. Then you would know how many people love you and care for you. You are a very lucky little boy. Those ATV's are kind of scary. Cheyenne turned her brother's over not long ago, so it can happen to anybody. Just remember that God is with you and on your side, ALWAYS. God Bless. You remain in our prayers.

Hey Bratto. Just left the hospital. You looked good yawning and resting. Rubbing your so hurt eyes. I love you bratto and can't stop thinking about you every second. I am only at peace when I am at the hospital so I can hear immediately all the baby steps you are taking towards your recovery. You made me smile when I grabbed your hand and you pulled it away as if to say 'enough already geesh I can't stand all this cuddling. I am a big boy you know' I miss your face already but promise to see you tomorrow. Keep up the hard work. Nanny's favorite saying is "God only gives us what we can handle" We will handle this and all come out stronger in the end. Last night as I was wrapping your cousin Amanda's bandages, she said " You know Mom, I think this is the longest we have gone without fighting" I told her that we have all learned how very precious our family is to eachother and that we can't waste time fighting amoungst ourselves. She feels so very guilty about what happened. I tell her that it was an accident and that you still love her as much today as you did on Sunday. That is all we can say. You need to wake up and wrap your arms around her just as much as she needs to wrap her arms around you. But take your time sweetie... we have all the time in the world. Hey Justyn... "Look under there." Gotcha..
Love you Bratto...

Hey Justyn,

Just checking in on you Little Guy. I know your Nanny. My Aunt Tina is your Aunt Tina. And what I know about Aunt Tina, your Nanny and your Mommy is that they are three of the strongest people I know. You know what that tells me Justyn? It tells me you are too! You keep fighting baby & you'll be just fine.

Jenn, Rita, Butch, Dave and all,

I have been were you are now. My son Chris was at AMC PICU after his accident. I know the sleepless nights and the unrelenting fear. And the pain. Keep strong and keep the faith. It's tough now and will be for awhile. Please believe me, you will get through it. Remember to take care of yourselves. Justyn needs you to.

Love and prayers,

Hey Justyn and Family,
My prayers are with you and your family as Justyn fights his battle. When my cousin Sean was four years old he was in a golf cart accident and the golf cart landed on his head exposing and crushing his brain. He was on total life support and the doctors said that they doubted if he would even make it through the first 24 hours let alone surgery. Once he made it through the night they preformed the surgery removing part of his brain. They told our family he would most likely never be able to read or write or act like a normal child, most likely he would be a vegitable. Sean is now 16 years old a semi professional surfer, an avid skate boarder, an honor roll student (GPA 3.8), and a soon to be junior in high school. Miracles do happen, I'm related to one. Justyn and your family are in my prayers.

Lots of Love

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Take courage from these promises from God. He loves you very much Justyn.

Take care and God Bless...

When I saw your picture it sure reminded me alot of my brother at your age. I bet if you guys woulda been the same age and knew each other you'd have a great time! You both look so sweet and innocent but if given the chance I bet you could have LOTS of fun...especially if you liked to pick on sisters/brothers like he did!

You hang in there little guy, rest easy but keep fighting! You have lots of people pulling for ya...and praying too!

My Nephew ~ Justyn

I don’t really know how else to say how much you mean to me than to explain all I remember. First off I remember the day I found out you were coming and I think thrilled would be an understatement. I was SO excited that your mommy would finally have the baby she never thought she would have. I shopped and shopped to find you just the right outfits to wear. I remember staying at your house before you were born and helping your mom set up your bedroom. She bought the cutest construction wall paper border and it looked great in your room. You mom had some complications with her pregnancy so it was decided that you would be a scheduled baby. The day we headed to the hospital to await your arrival was a very exciting day. We all spent a lot of time in the delivery room waiting and waiting and waiting and YUP waiting. I remember being a little grossed out at the whole “process” but it certainly gave me a new perspective of life. You were born by C-section after a long pushing session by your mom. I remember seeing the proud look on your dad’s face as he donned the surgical outfit that made him look like a Doctor and off he went into the OR to greet you. Everyone was there waiting for you … Nanny, Poppy, Aunt Niki, Uncle Scott, Amanda, Zachary, Uncle Harry and Aunt Amanda as well as your Grandma. We were very relieved to hear that everything was great and that we could see you and your mom in a bit. Your mom was beyond exhausted and looked so cute wrapped from head to toe in warm towels … she looked like a Gnome. Then there was Justyn … wrapped in a blanket much bigger than you needed but you were so snuggled and comfy with the biggest cone head I had ever seen. The little hospital hat barely covered your tiny head but you were perfect … When you finally came home you and your mommy stayed at nanny and poppy’s house for a week or so and that was my favorite part. Because I was going to night classes a few times a week I would get up with you in the middle of the night. I would bring you in my room and you would lie on my big fluffy feather pillow and your whole body fit on it the short way. I would feed you and massage your hands and feet while you ate. We spent a lot of nights cuddled up and making memories that have lasted forever for me. Eventually you grew and took MY feather pillow home with you. You slept with that pillow for a long time until it could take no more. I was more than glad to give it to you too! I spent a lot of time visiting you and your mom and dad. You are and always were a miracle baby and I know you have more to show us don’t you? Unfortunately when you were only 9 months old I decided to move away to Minnesota. It was very hard to do but I was glad to have bonded with you early on. I knew things would be okay since I will always be your Aunt Bekah and you will always be My Justyn. I flew home a few months later for your 1st birthday and BOY was it a fun time. You had the cutest and roundest head in the world but it was so big that we couldn’t buy you shirts that had to fit over it. I remember you eating your birthday cup cake and taking teeny tiny bites into it to make sure you savored every bit. I am so glad I took photography in college because I have SO many photos of you as a baby. I missed a lot of you growing up and I missed a lot of your first words and your first steps but I was there in some way to cheer you on and love you more than ever. I am sorry you had such a horrible accident and I wish I could be there with you to just tell you how much I love and care about you. I know that you will get better and will be back to your normal self again. I can’t wait for you to visit for Jaden’s birthday so BOTH of you can screw up Jason’s alphabetized DVD collection … that is always a fun time huh? I can’t wait to see you and squeeze you so tight … Jaden saw your website last night and said “My Justyn!” We pass your baby picture every day going up the stairs and she always says “Hi Justyn!” She loves you so much! Uncle Jace missed you too and hopes you get better … he needs a wrestling buddy and someone to annoy him with lots of questions. He still laughs when he thinks of your facial expression when you realized you had his gameboy game and you thought he would be mad ... I ended up being the one who liked that game the most ... It is funny what you miss when someone gets so injured and scares those that love him … We look forward to seeing you in November so we can go to the toy store and you get to pick out your Christmas Toys again … You hang in there buddy … I think of you every second (which makes it awful hard to work!) You mean SO much to so many that it is amazing! I set this site up for you because I had no way of being there for you in person. The response that your site has gotten is unbelievable and I am so proud to be a part of it BUT I am more proud to say I AM JUSTYN BEAULAC’S Aunt Bekah and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! I will be sending you out some mail filled with hugs and kisses … I Love you buddy …

Jen ~ You are my Best Friend and I am so sorry I can’t be there to hug you and cry with you and scream with you! I am thinking about you all the time! I Love You and Miss you now more than ever … talk to you soon!

Dave ~ I am not sure what to say to you except that you are a wonderful father and I am sorry you are so heart broken … You mean a lot to me and I love you like my brother … please know we are thinking of you all the time …

Love you Lots MISS you More

Hi there my favorite 2nd gradson. We just left the hospital and you are doing so well. We had quite a scare these past couple of days, but your progress is amazing. I believe it is because of this web site. The power of prayer is amazing. Your condition has improved so much. Your Mom and Dad seem a little more confident that you will be home with them soon. Mom doesn't leave your side (except when she has to go potty) Your Dad is always there holding your hand. Pop and I feel a lot better tonight, we will see you again the first thing in the morning. Keep up the good work buddy, and thanks to all of you for your prayers. You would be amazed at the difference in Justyn since this page has gone up.

I love you, and you can have the Taz towel.

I have a nephew that is your age. You both have smiles that make me feel wonderful inside. I know that you are having pain right now - how it must hurt. When I am with my nephew and he gets hurt, we hug and then I sprinkle magic dust on him. I'm sending magic dust your way.

From my own experience, it really is "a day at a time". Some days it is "hour by hour or minute by minute". Look for the multitude of little miracles God is working before your eyes. I pray for your strength and God's healing hands to hold your baby in the palms of his hands.
