Well here we are again! Back to school, pre-k & daycare. The kids had such a great summer but it seemed way too short. Lexi lost all but three teeth it seems, very rich little girl. She is now in the second grade and loving it so far. Max is in his second year of pre-k and also loving it. Cole will be going to a class 2x's a wk, I think, not sure if I'm ready for that yet.

We were able to visit the Berra's in St.Louis last week. They treated us & the Bartolotti's to the PGA tournament & a Cardinals game. I have a couple pics. but they don't do the game justice. Of course we couldn't get any pics at the PGA which was such a bummer seeing we were an arms lenth away on the 13th hole. Nothing but the best for the Berra family.

So I hope everyone is getting settled with the new school year. Take care and we'll try to keep up with the pics better this year.

LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!

Hello, hello...

I can't believe it's almost the end of July! I knew the summer would fly by but not this quickly. We just finished up Fana week and what a great time we had! All the kids got along great. NO accidents! I posted some pics. and will change them up every so often. Hope all is well.

Hello friends and family. We hope everyone is well and enjoying the nice weather. Alexis turned 7yrs. old on May 29th. We had her girl friends from school come home with her on the bus. Call me crazy! All 10 of them had a great time so it was worth it. She has 4 loose teeth at the moment which is killing her smile, so she says. The boys are doing great. Cole is very driven and Max is taking the back seat and observing for now. Max let's me know EVERYTHING Cole is doing good and bad. No one gets away with anything around here with Max. He has a very tender heart(cries a lot) and we are hoping it will pass soon. They both got bikes and scooters for their birthdays. We're going to work on the 2 wheels instead of 4 this summer. Cole might be the first to do that!!

I will try to update more this summer but we all know how that goes. Next thing you know it will be back to school again.

Take care, The Eaton Family

Happy spring to all....finally!!

Friday, February 29, 2008 1:58 PM CST

Hello friends and family. I hope everyone is coping with this cold winter week. We've had such a varity of temps. this winter, warm, cold and absolutely freezing. We are very anxious for spring.

Not much going on here...the kids are growing out of all of their clothes this winter. Max is in the lead. He just turned 4 and he's 41 lbs., Lexi weighs 46lbs., he's in a size 11 shoe, same as Lexi. Lexi has him beat in height which makes her feel very powerful. Not sure how long that will last though. Now Cole on the other hand hasn't grown much. He's in the 5% but who's keeping track. :)

Scott's new job is going great. He really loves it which makes it even better. He's traveling about 2 to 3 days a week so we're all adjusting to that. You take the good with the bad I guess.

I will have better pics as soon as the snow goes away. You get the same old shots when you're stuck in the house for 3 months. Cheers to St. Patty's Day!!!

Love the Eaton Family

Happy Holidays!!!!

Wednesday, October 10, 2007 9:21 AM CDT

Hello friends and family...

I do believe fall has finally arrived. We are so ready for it. Picking pumpkins in shorts and tees, sweating just isn't the same. So bring it on Buffalo!

The kids are back to school which means we are finally back to a routine, yeah!! Max is loving pre-school so far. He's made lots of new friends, with no names. Lexi too is loving 1st grade. She's doing so much better this year already. What a difference 5 to 6 yrs old makes. I have been able to add some pics but still are way too big. I apologize. I figure too big or nada.

Enjoy the fall season. Love the Eaton family.

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 11:54 AM CDT

Hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of summer vacation. All is well here at the Eaton household. I'll try to fix the size of the pics but I haven't had any luck so far. You'll get the life size view of the kids, sorry. Take care, The Eaton family

Monday, May 14, 2007 12:34 AM CDT

Happy Mother's Day to all....I hope everyone did what they wanted to do. It truely is too short if you ask me. I'm thinking a weekend not just a day. I needed way more time to be pampered.

The kids are great...Alexis is almost done with school. Max just started going to a Creative Playtime group twice a week which he loves. Cole is crawling like a mad man, into absolutely everything. The dog's bowl, the dog's bed, the dog....poor Mocha. He just started playing with electrical cords too so that's something to keep an eye on. He hasn't started talking yet but yelling is his specialty. At 6:15am every morning he pounds on the wall with his feet and yells. Not a crying kind of a yell just a friendly wake up call for everyone to hear. My poor other two. Lexi complains about the noise so they now know to sleep with the pillow over their heads if it greats to be too much for them. Max sleeps under the covers. The thirds a charm, so they say.

Besides all of that, we are doing well. I hope to see everyone soon seeing the weather is finally enjoyable. Have a great summer. Take care, The Eaton Family

Saturday, March 3, 2007 6:38 PM CST

Is anyone else just about done with this cold weather? Come on spring...let's move on.

Max is 3 now!!! He says he's ready for school. Don't I wish. Couple more years bud. He will be going to pre-school in Sept. for 2 days/week so that will be good enough for him. Cole is growing like a weed as well. He is 7 months and counting. He sits up be himself now which is great for all of us. He was getting so mad that he had to lay down 24/7, he would whine all day long. Now he's ready to go. He goes on all fours but ends up in a face plant position everytime, that too is going to get old quick. No pain no gain Cole. He loves the kids, more than me it seems at times. I'm ok with that. They love to entertain him so have at it. I do feel as though I'm going in circles all day long and accomplishing nothing. Three kids is a lot harder than I thought but it is also so rewarding at the end of the day.

I hope all is well and know warm weather is on it's way. Take care, The Eatons

Happy New Year!!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. We're ready for ya 2007....be easy on us.
God Bless. The Eatons

Tuesday, December 19, 2006 7:51 PM CST

Merry Christmas....we hope all is well. I'm sure everyone is running around trying to finish up their last minute shopping. I do believe I'm done, for now. I always think of someone else that I should buy for when I close my eyes at night. It's endless.....as you all know.

We are adapting quite well to little Cole or should I say he's adapted to us. It is safe to say Cole is here to stay. The kids have given me the thumbs up so we're all good. Max has been staying home with Cole and I during the day, seeing daycare is out of the question until I go back to work, if I ever do. So my days are spent with the boys which is quite interesting. Max can be a bit needy at times like when I'm feeding Cole or changing Cole, bathing Cole...actually whenever I'm near Cole. We have to remember that he's only two but it's hard when he looks like he's four. Our big baby!!!! He hates it when you call him that. Lexi on the side of things tells me when I'm not paying enough attention to Cole. She will inform me when he's crying (I'm hard of hearing I quess)or when he needs to go to bed, she can now tell time as well. All in all she IS my little helper 100%.

So this Christmas we do feel truely blessed!!I love our growing family more than words could ever say. I thank the Lord above....

Peace and Love
The Eatons

Welcome to Buffalo Cole Mitchell...

Brrrrrr...what a difference. Cole seemed to have adjusted just fine until I took him shopping for 5 hours. He was a little fussy but I was busy, busy, busy shopping and thought nothing of it until I got home. He ended up having a fever of 102 and rising. I felt so guilty. He slept through the night and was all smiles once again in the morning. Now let's get back to the mall!

Everyone is back to their old routines. Lexi went to school Monday morning skipping out the door. She is so happy to be home. Her classmates were so welcoming and that's all you can ask for when you're five and absent for the whole month of Nov. I knew she would be fine, just a little nervous. Max went back to his school Tuesday and again, missed by all. The teachers are so interested to hear all about the trip and are very anxious to meet our newest family member.

I want to thank everyone for sharing this 3rd and final trip with us. It was by far the best for so many reasons. We will update from time to time so I hope you continue to watch our children grow. Happy Holidays and God Bless.

Love Scott, Michelle, Alexis, Max and Cole Eaton

Thursday, November 30, 2006 11:25 AM CST

Okay. Our plans have changed. We are now going to fly home on Saturday from JFK to Buffalo. It is flight #10 leaving JFK at 8:10pm arriving in Buffalo at 9:40pm. The price was right and all we have to do is get through customs in Newark and get a shuttle to JFK in less than 3 hours. No problema. Our case here is complete. All we have to do is go pick up Cole's visa Friday afternoon and pack 500lbs. of luggage. Can't wait to get home. Our trip was wonderful, Cole is wonderful, but it's time to get home. See everyone soon.

Scott, Michelle, Alexis, Max and Cole

Tuesday, November 28, 2006 6:51 PM CST

We did sign at 2:00 but we were wrong about leaving on Friday. It was our own fault for jumping the gun without talking to Annette first. Now you must wait 24hrs. for the visa to clear instead of same day pick-up. Good news is we didn't have to pay the $700 fee twice for this minor mistake. Could you imagine? Scott was ready to explode. Since we changed the info. within 45 minutes they were kind enough to wave the charge. So this is the new plan. We are now flying out on Saturday but only to Newark. Due to lack of seats on the connecting flight we will be renting a mini van for the 7 hour drive to Buffalo. The things you do to get back home. The kids will sleep and so may I. Sorry to say there will be no homecoming, not that many like the 10:20PM arrivals. So hopefully things will remain the same. We will let you know of any changes. Love the Eats.

Tuesday, November 28, 2006 12:26 AM CST

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!! We're signing today at 2:00. We booked our flight for Friday, Dec. 1st. We'll write more later. Buffalo here we come!!! The Eatons

Thursday, November 23, 2006 2:25 PM CST

We're back.......everything went smooth. The flight, the kids and the adults. What a difference in weather. They said it was nice here for 3 days and the rest was rain. I guess we picked the right time to go. We received good news right away. We are in the final stage. That's great news for me because Scott is going to stick it out until we sign. What a different trip, in every way.

The house is full now so we might be moving to La Fontana. Right now we're all in room #1 which doesn't work well with us. I hope we don't hurt anyone's feelings but you have to do what works for you, right?! The Dobies and the Kepners are leaving for Cartagena on Sunday until Thursday. The other couple here is going away tomorrow for 3 days. So I really don't think anyone will even know we're gone.

I have a ton of pictures to show off. I will change them up every day for the next week or so. So please check the site whenever you get a chance. Glad to be back. Take care, ME

PS. Please say a prayer for my mom, she is not well right now and my stepfather goes in for shoulder surgery on Monday. They could use really use them. Thank you

Sunday, November 19, 2006 4:15 PM CST

Hello, hello....it looks like we're staying until thursday. Scott's idea. I'm not sure what's going on with our court. We hope to hear something on Monday. As soon as we know, you'll know. The weather is great. The kids are great. Couldn't ask for much better at this point. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. Check back Tuesday for better details. Love, The Eatons

Tuesday, November 14, 2006 7:55 PM CST

Hello all..we are having a great time here in Santa Marta. The weather is beautiful and the resort is just like the pictures, (irotama.com, if you're interested) We have good news and bad news. The good news is we have court #10 and the bad news is we forgot the cord to download pictures from our camera. My fault, so Scott says. I'm so sorry. The hotel only allows us one day of internet access as well (unless we pay, of course) We love it here but they really try to get you in everyway. They say Max is free but yet we have to pay for his meals, go figure. Cole is doing fabulous. He's like an open book. He cries if he's hungry, which is all the time or if he's tired which is all the time as well. He was a peanut when we received him but far from that now. He loves the pool and seems to love the heat. He is so much different then Lexi was, or maybe it's me. We are here until Sunday so unfortunately there will be no pictures to see, sorry Rose Marie. Please don't stop checking up on us. I promise to post twice a day when I get back to Betty's. Thank you to those who have signed the guestbook. We love to hear from you. We will be home soon enough. Love the Eaton Family

Thursday, November 9, 2006 4:36 PM CST

Bienestar day!!!!!!! Everything went quick and harmless. We were in and out, 5 minutes tops. The kids were great and made the interviewer laugh. Lexi said "we are colombian" and Max started kissing Cole's hand all the way up his arm while she was talking. It made things smooth for us. She didn't know what to ask after those 2 things. I wish I could take credit for those moves but it was all them. I will know tomorrow what court we're in so we'll let you know asap. Tonight we go to Carbon de Palo so we'll have good pictures to post tomorrow. Until them, Chow!!!!!!!!! THE EATS

Monday, November 6, 2006 6:55 PM CST

We survived the night. Lexi is better. She is still quiet and has no appetite but she's up and running. Today we went shopping for the kids then to Archie's again. I think they might be getting stir crazy in the house. The Penn. family, Gail, Phil, Mike and Alex are very nice people. They were here 15yrs. ago. The boys are in for it with Max though. He won't leave them alone. They say they don't mind. We'll see how they feel in a couple of days.

Tonight the Dobies come in around 11:00. Big day tomorrow. The kids are excited to see another baby get a new mommy and daddy, as Lexi would say. The older boys here are going to present little Isabella to Eric and Anne. I'm sure I'll be crying, I do everytime. Afterwards we'll come back here to celebrate with empanads and ajiaco.

Wednesday we plan to go to the leather district and Hard Rock for lunch. I think Lexi might be the only one joining us for that one, we'll see. Max is unaware of this idea. Thursday it's off to the Bienestar. Let's get this process started. I feel like last week flew by for us. These kids have been keeping us a little occupied.

So I hope I'm doing an ok job with the pictures and news. I never was all that fond of journal entries. Please sign our guestbook. We're never too busy to read a note from home. Take care, The Eats

Sunday, November 5, 2006 2:39 PM CST

Well it's day number four and the reality of having 3 kids is starting to set in. We woke up this morning to Lexi puking and is still doing so every 30 minutes. No idea if it's from something she ate or drank or caught from the Show Place. Max is still coughing constantly and is out of breathe all the time it seems. Cole has had the hiccups for about 30 minutes and is starting to get ticked off. Besides that we're all doing great. We are going to the Bienestar on Thursday at 2:00 to get things started. We booked our flight to Santa Marta for the 12th-19th. Hopefully the kids are well and can enjoy the beautiful beach. The weather here has been gorgeous. Sunny and 70 every day so far. It rains hard at dinner time and then stops. No complaints here. I hear those in Buffalo aren't so lucky. I think we're going to the park tomorrow and maybe El Corral for lunch. There is a family coming in tonight from Penn. They are older kids coming to visit Fana. That should be fun for the Lexi and Max. It's been quiet here which has been nice for the adjustment but we are ready for some company. Hope all is well. Keep in touch. Love the Eatons

Friday, November 3, 2006 8:05 PM CST

Ok, I apologize for the delay, I never thought my time would be so limited, ha-ha.....so yes, that was the best green room picture we got can you believe it. It was so different this time. There was no one there to tell us what to do. For instance, hey guys look over here or do you guys want a family photo....we were in and out this time. Max had a very tough day. He never really caught up with his sleep and he's not feeling all that great so we had one miserable little boy. Lexi on the other hand got a lot of attention and loved every minute of the whole day. She is going to be the best helper I can tell already. Today we went to the Show Place. It's basically like Chucky Cheese times 100. Huge!!! I think 4 hours was a little much but it's all about the kids right? Tomorrow we're off to the zoo for the afternoon then Betty's at 6:00 for some adult time. I think it will be well deserved after these past couple of days. Oh yes, and then there was baby Cole. What a perfect, perfect angel. First night, woke up one time to eat than slept until 7:30. I didn't want to say anything yet just in case it was a fluke but I did. I will try to post pictures as often as we take them. I love to show off this beautiful family God has given Scott and I. We will forever be greatful to Fana and all that comes with it. Keep signing the guestbook and we'll keep updated the details. Love, The Eatons

Thursday, November 2, 2006 6:55 PM CST

We got him!!!!!!!!! I swear I'll update more tomorrow. Cole is in my lap and wants to go to bed. Must run. Stay tuned....The Eatons

Wednesday, October 25, 2006 10:32 AM CDT

Update!!!!! We will be leaving on November 1st which means we'll have Cole in our arms November 2nd. Scott, Alexis and Max will be returning home on November 21st just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Cole and I will enjoy some alone time before the craziness begins. PLEASE keep in touch with us via guestbook. You have no idea how wonderful it is to hear from loved ones back home. I will update more pictures as soon as we receive that little guy. Keep us in your prayers.

Love, The Eaton Family

Tuesday, October 24, 2006 7:40 AM CDT

Here's our new bundle of joy. I will update more when we get more info. Please check back. The Eaton family of FIVE!!!!!!!!!

Sunday, September 17, 2006 9:39 AM CDT

Well Lexi started school....it's going well so far. She loves the bus, she loves her friends and most of all she loves her freedom from mom. There were no tears just anxiety but that's gone. It's all good!!! Max started a new school as well. He likes it for the most part. They are pretty full so he doesn't get the attention I would like but it's the beginning. I'm sure everyone's adjusting to the new year. Besides that we're all healthy and excited for football season to begin. Something for the adults to look forward to after a long week. I'm sure you all can agree. Hope all is well. Take care, The Eaton's

Saturday, September 2, 2006 9:12 AM CDT

End of the summer blues? Not at all! Not for me anyway. We ended this summer with a bang!! We hit Marineland, Fantasy Island and Chuckie Cheese's within 6 days. Overkill!!!! The kids had a blast but I'm not sure they could tell you where the animals are and where the rides are? They just know that MOM IS GREAT!!!! Alexis' eyes watered when the marineland song came on during the dolphin show. (the song that plays about 50 thousand times on tv.) That made the whole trip worth it for me.
Besides all of that we've been doing Lexi's soccer games 2 times a week, school meetings, school bus safety, school clothes shopping and therapy for mom........just kidding. I know those who have older kids are thinking, you just wait, it only gets worse. I've heard it already. This is my stress at this time in my life. I think you freak out too much over everything your eldest does and goes through. By the time it's Max's turn I'll be cool as a cucumber, maybe.

I have a couple of pictures to capture the fun. Hope all is well. To all the 5 year olds going to school, have fun!!! Take care, Me

Thursday, August 10, 2006 10:51 AM CDT

Hello all...we're showing off our daughter once again. You may think, poor Max never gets any attention, right? Wrong!!! He gets plenty of our attention, it's just not the good kind. He's been going through a tough phase in life, "2 years old phase" He is testing us in every area. He starts crying if we try to take his picture as well. Therefore, you may not see him until he's 3or so!!! We love him to death but boy is he a stubborn one. Unlike Lexi who is quiet, reserved, and a very good listener. What a difference between the two. Oh what the heck, let's get make it three and see how this one turns out. HA-HA!!! Anyway, everyone is great, enjoying the summer. Lexi just started soccer last week and loves it. She is picking it up quickly. Go Tigers!!!! Max is enjoying golf, hockey, baseball, soccer, basketball, anything that has to do with a ball, he's all over it. I can't wait to see what he's going to be like on a team. That should be interesting. I have some time to work with that whole concept. There is no "i" in team Max.

Hope all is well. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Take care,ME

Tuesday, July 25, 2006 6:46 PM CDT

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful summer heat. Wow!!! No complaints here! We decided to get central air, all Scott's idea. I thought I would hate it but I don't at all. I LOVE IT!! The kids are having a great summer as well. They are both in swim lessons 4 days a week and the other days they're in grandma's pool. Alexis believes she is a mermaid. Max on the other hand could take it or leave it.

We had our annual Fana Golf Tourn. last week. What a turn out. Three beautiful babies were given to wonderful families including one of our very close friends, the Berra's. They will be traveling on Sunday the 3rd. They are going to scope out the nursery for baby Eaton #3 while they're down there. We are getting excited but not at all ready. I guess that's what happens after the first 2. You kind of just go with the flow.

Here are some pics from the weekend with the Bartolotti's and Berra's. They will be life long friends....they really don't have a choice. Take care, The Eatons

Friday, June 2, 2006 2:02 PM CDT

Alexis graduated from Pre-K!!!! Off to college. That's what it feels like. I knew it was going to be a sad day. What I didn't know was that it was going to make me into a fortune teller. Her whole life flashed before me. I saw her going to school dances and sporting events. I saw her with boys and driving my car. I felt an overwhelming feeling of pride and anxiety all at once. Scott was ready for this break down to occur seeing I did the same thing the day I dropped her off at that very door 2 years ago. I think that was what brought everything on. The time flew by so fast. We need to stop and cherish these days because all those things I saw happen will happen quicker than we want.... I then threw Lexi a big birthday bash. We combined her birthday with Archie Bartolotti's birthday. What a great turn out. I hope it will be a day they will never forget. I know I won't. Here are some pictures of both events. Hope all is well. Take care, The sappy mom, Scott, the college grad and Max

Wednesday, May 17, 2006 12:02 AM CDT

Hello all...we are getting ready for Alexis' birthday bash. The big "5". We are hoping we can stop the birthdays after this one. Way too big!! These pictures I added are just a fill in until the party. The kids were enjoying one of the first warm days of spring at the Bartolotti's. This is what happens when you feed them cups of m&m's, freezy pops, juice boxes, and watermelon...all within 3 hours. Check in in a couple of weeks for party photos...Take care, The Eatons

Thursday, April 13, 2006 9:09 AM CDT

Spring is finally here....I hope it stays!! Alexis had her first artshow at pre-k last week. I think it might be her new thing. Max felt a little left out but his day will come soon enough. Here are a couple of pictures of the big event. Thanks for all of those who have followed along in my children's first years of life. Have a great Easter. Love, The Eaton Family

Wednesday, March 22, 2006 2:28 PM CST

Just thought I'd change the photos around a little. We are waiting for the spring weather to spring!!! The kids can't wait to break free from this house and neither can mommy and daddy.......

Hope all is well. The Eaton's

Thursday, January 26, 2006 5:49 PM CST

Max turned 2!!!!! He had such a great day with all of his friends and family. We over did it just a little... He is such a big boy now and I'm not just saying that. He is in the 85% for his weight (he weighs 3lbs. less than his 4 yr. sister) and 90% for his height. Solid as a rock!

So here are some pictures we took to try and capture some of the fun they all had. Thank you to those who joined us.

Take care,
The Eaton Family

Thursday, January 12, 2006 10:00 AM CST

Happy New Year!! We survived 2005. Can't wait to see what 2006 brings to us. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I know we did...especially the kids. They still don't understand why mommy and daddy didn't get anything from Santa. Maybe it's because we put them in time-out too many times.

Take care and best wishes for the new year to come.
The Eatons

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 1:38 PM CST

Let the count down begin......We are all so excited for the Christmas season this year. The kids are making their lists and checking them 5 times. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Here's to 2006.... Cheers!!!

Peace, love and joy,
Scott, Michelle, Alexis and Max

Tuesday, November 15, 2005 10:31 AM CST

Happy Holidays to all of our friends and family. These next couple of months always seem to come and go so quickly. I hope to update pictures as we go along so if you have time to check in, thank you. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Can you believe it's already time to think Christmas? Alexis can! The list's have already begun. (So have the threats to write Santa.) Max is now learning the need to know Christmas words. He skipped over Thanksgiving all together. He has no idea that that is going to be his favorite time of year. Eat,eat,eat....and when you think it's over you go to the next house and eat some more. Awesome!!!

So for now I have just updated the one picture of the kids in their customes. Stay tuned for the next holiday. Take care, The Eatons

Saturday, September 17, 2005 9:53 AM CDT

Hello everyone. It's been awhile. The crazy fun filled summer is over. I guess I'm ready. What great weather we had here in buffalo. The kids grew up so much these past couple of months. Lexi is going to school 5 days a week now and Max is going 2 days. They love school! So does mommy.

Max did have to end the summer with a stitch. We came close so many times but this time the coffee table won. Just one, but that's all I could take for the first time. Many, many more to come I'm sure. God help me.

So we here are some pics of the kids being kids. Take care, The Eatons

Wednesday, July 20, 2005 8:49 AM CDT

Well, we all survived the Golf/Gala weekend. What a great time! It was so nice seeing all of our friends that we had made through the past 4 years. Thank you for the many laughs. The kids enjoyed it even more. Rain or shine, they still got bruised knees, sugar highs and complete melt downs!!! All in all it was the best year so far.

In the midst of it all we got a chance to just relax at the beach with the kids. Well, they relaxed anyway. Here are a few pictures of the gang. Take care, ME

Wednesday, June 29, 2005 12:44 AM CDT

Hello all...I hope everyone is staying cool. What a great summer we're having so far. We love the heat!!!! Max gets a little irritated but we can't really say it's because of the heat or teeth or tired or......... now Lexi is a different story. She would have it this way 12 months out of the year. We put both of them in swim lessons this year. I think Lexi is going to be our superstar swimmer. Max could take the water or leave it. If there's food that's where he wants to be. He is starting to run which is quite funny to watch. His head gets ahead of his feet and down he goes. He has at least one bruise on his body at all times. He can open doors to the outside we learned. Hasn't master stairs though. Landed on top of his head, big brush burn. Got to love little boys!!!!

Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying each other and the pool at grandma's house. Hope to see everyone at the Gala/Golf Tournament. Fana needs us all. Let's keep doing our share! Take care.

Hello all! I have added different pictures but it's the same trip to Hilton Head. I wanted to share more memories but I'm not sure how to post more than 4 pictures at a time. Oh well, it's more exciting this way.

The Kluckhohns were in Hilton Head at the same time so we were able to get together with them one night. (For those that don't know them, they were our buddy couple through this whole wonderful FANA experience)

I believe summer is coming, it might even be this week. :) Take care, Michelle

We're back.......and what great weather to come back to. NOT!! We left 84 degree weather to snow!!! You got to love Buffalo. The kids had a wonderful time in Hilton Head. Lexi turned into a mermaid. That's what happens when you swim from sun up to sun down. Max too loved the water but between the sunshine and warm pool, he was wiped out everyday by 10:30am. Naps were very long.

The flights-the one to H.H. was great. No problems. The flight home, different story. Lexi got sick around 7 times. That made things a little difficult. We made it though.

Here are some pictures of the kids and the house we rented. Check out this house, wow!

Take care, ME

Spring has sprung and so have the Eaton's. I know everyone has had the same itch as us. Summer itch!!! It feels like winters are becoming longer doesn't it? Maybe the kids have something to do with that. "Mommy is it summer out yet? Can we go swimming now? But you said when the snow is gone!!" She got me there. You really have to watch what you say.

We are off to Hilton Head Island on the 16th - 23rd (8 adults to 9 kids under the age of 5) It should be very interesting!!!! We will update those pictures when we get back. So for now here are some pictures of the kids enjoying the fresh spring air. Take care, ME

Hello all..........sorry about the wait for updates. We really don't have any. Max turned 1 on Jan. 24th and Lexi turned 10 due to a hair cut provided by "mommy" what was I thinking? Hint, never cut hair when wet!!!!!!!! Hope all is well. Staying warm and keeping busy here in the Eaton household. I'm sure warm weather is on it's way, right???? Here are some pics of the kids with their cousins from Spain. Hope to see you all at the GM Meeting. Take care, The Eatons

Ho,ho,ho........to all of our friends and family. I hope all is well. Here are some more pictures of the kids. They are getting very excited for Santa's visit. This was the first year that Lexi sat with Santa without crying. She talked his ear off, little brown noser!!! We will be trying to update each month so check back next year. Take care and Happy Holidays from the Eaton family.

Happy Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. That will be the next time I will update this website. Just kidding, I will try my hardest. You all have no idea how hard it was for me to do this, well some of you do! I have forgotten how to do certain things with it, therefore no picture on the home page for quite some time. I hope everyone had a great halloween. Lexi and I sure did. Max was too tired to enjoy the festivities. The two are getting their lists ready for Christmas (so am I) Let the blackmailing begin. All you mothers know what that's all about I'm sure. Well take care, for those of you who haven't given up on my site. I'll update more next month I swear. Love- Michelle, Scott, Lexi and Max

Hello to everyone. How is the rest of the world doing. It's hard to believe that I am in another country. Although I feel like I am today. I have said goodbye to yet another couple that I have grown to love. It's hard to be sad, that would be selfish. It is such a wonderful thing to be reuniting with your family and friends. I know it will be my turn next so I need to stay positive, which all of your emails have done. I have been so blessed to have had two wonderful experiences here in Bogota. The first one, 3 years ago, I made friends that I will have for the rest of my life. And now, the second time, I have so many amazing memories and friends I will never forget. It was a different experience completely this time. I was a single parent for most of the trip which I thought would be uneventful. I would get my baby boy and start counting the days of my return. I was so wrong. (not that I'm not counting Scott, ha,ha) These 2 families have given me such support and love, thank you.

Russ.... thank you for your incredible humor. How can anyone be depressed with you around. There is no reason for it. I've gone through the list. I will miss you and your stories. Kathy, the little mother hen. You have the biggest heart. Dominic is blessed to have such a mother with so much to give. Thank you for everything. ( I will be booking your return flight if I'm here for more than 2 weeks, I have witnesses....) I know we will keep in touch. We have a MN golf Tournament to plan yet. Take care. Lots of hugs and few tears. Love me

Today I have received some good news on our case. We have been excepted and have been promised to be in phase #3 by tomorrow, which is Tuesday. Now, I have learned to not believe everything I hear so you must do the same. It's just nice to hear that things are moving right along. I needed this wonderful news today seeing I will be enjoying Betty's place all by myself in 2 days. My mother-in-law will be joining Max and I on the 10th - 18th. Hopefully she will be able to bring us back home with her. It will be nice to reunite with Scott and Alexis. You appreciate family so much when you're apart.

Besides that things have been crazy around here for the two families that are leaving. They are so happy to be going home to be with their family and friends! I will miss them all. I want to thank them for all of their support and great memories. (JD, Riter, Kathy and Russ....) I hope to meet up with you again soon. Chow for now. Michelle

Hello friends and family. Today is a beautiful day here in Bogota. It has been nice for the past 4 days. It only rains in the afternoon if at all. I have been trying to keep up with this site but the computer here sometimes does not cooperate. I hope you don't give up on me. I have updated some photos of Max. He has grown so much since we've received him. I think he weighs close to 15lbs now, if not more. He sleeps great, from 8:00am - 4:00am, bottle then till 7:00. No complaints. At home my daughter Alexis is quite confused with the situation. How can one explain things like this to a 2yr. old. Scott is doing his best and I hope to be home within 2 wks. JD, one of the guest here and I are in the same court. He signed today which made his case 29 days. So lets keep our fingers crossed that mine goes as quickly. A couple from Minnesota got their referral last night so that will be nice to have some new guest arrive next week. Another family is coming in tonight who is adopting 3 siblings. 2,4 and 8yrs. old. They will only be here for the weekend but still, someone to add some fun and adventure to my experience here. Well I have updated you, now you update me. Please keep in touch and pray I will see everyone in a couple of weeks. Me

Well Scott and Alexis made it home safe and sound. A couple of complications but none too big to mention. I on the other hand am enjoying Bogota thoroughly. I have so much support from friends and family back home. Thank you for all the emails. We have done so much in the past week from sight seeing to spas to the theater. We are planning to go to a soccer game Sunday if the weather is ok. It has been raining for 2 days straight, no breaks. We knew that it was rainy season before we arrived so this is no surprise. The only down fall to the rain is the babies always have to stay home with a sitter, too damp. Today we are off to go shopping. I will be updating more pictures tonight. Now that Scott is gone I need to keep up his good work. Please keep praying for our health, safety and quick return.

My love to Alexis and Scott. I will see you soon.

We are still here and doing fine. Max has adjusted very well and has even decided to sleep a little at night. Last night he only woke us up for his 2:00am feeding and then again at 6:00. Not bad. He is a very good baby and only cries when he wants something. He is showing signs of being spoiled - prefers to be held all the time rather than sit in a swing or a bouncie seat. We found out we are in court 10 which is not good news. Rumor is that this is a slow court. Typical luck for us. Today we are going to tour FANA. The website pictures will be updated later on today. Tonight we are heading to Betty and Rafa's house for dinner. Scott leaves tommorrow and is taking Lexi home with him. Hopefully, he will be returning later to bring us home. That's all for now.

Michelle, Scott, Lexi and Max

We are enjoyimg our time in Bogota thus far. Last night we had a fun filled dineer at Carbon De Palo with the other couples here at Betty's Place. We have updated the pictures and will continue to do so. The website only holds three photos at a time so be patient. Unfortunately our story of joy here in Colombia has been coupled with a story of sadness at home. Lexi and Max lost a cousin yesterday. My sister Karen gave still birth to a baby girl after over 8 months of pregnancy. If everyone checking our website could offer a moment of silence and a prayer for Karen and her family it would be appreciated. Karen and Eric, when you check our site know that we are deeply saddened and that you are constantly on our minds. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason and many times we never learn what the reason is. For some reason Michelle and I are in Bogota bringing Max home to a new family. Be strong and know that you can count on us for anything. You have a family that loves you and will support you through good and bad. Give Parker a big kiss for us.

Love Scott, Michelle, Alexis and Max

Well we got him. He is absolutely beautiful. We have added some photos as quickly as we could. Things take a little longer here in Bogota. No hurries ever. We will be sending more photos soon. Alexis is doing great with him. She loves to hold him a lot. God has been wonderful to us twice. Thank you everyone for your support. The Eatons
