Well, we made it home safe and sound... with most of our belongings. It was a long day, but well worth it. You'll find that out soon enough. It's a bit of a culture shock, not being in Bogota and at Bettys', so appreciate the few hours you have left. I want to thank you for sharing a little of your lives with us these past couple weeks. You are a wonderful couple with incredible personality. You were extremely warm and inviting to me, Nicholas, and Riter... and for that, I will always remember you. As long as Dominic has the two of you as parents, he will always be in a perfect enviroment (Although... Russ, be prepared for your checklist to get a little longer). Hi Everyone,

Cath - what a GREAT picture of Russ changing a poopy diaper. I knew you could do it, but wasn't so sure about Russ. ONLY KIDDING. I am extremely happy for all of you and can see the joy in your faces that you are parents of a beautiful, perfect, special baby boy. Your lives will never be the same. There is nothing like being a mommy and daddy, as you know all to well now. The pictures are so special and how thankful we all are that you are able to share these special times with us all. Your boy is becoming such a pudge, he is so happy and healthy. You can tell by his face that he is so aware, happy and interested in everything and everyone he encounters. It brings back memories of my own children and makes my heart so happy that you both are finally experiencing all the joy of your own child. OK - the mushy stuff is over. Keesha is really doing great. You can tell that she misses you both, but I am very glad that she is with us during your time away. There is so much activity and family life crazyness that she will be able to adjust well to the new addition to your family. Aaron cries enough still that Keesha will have no problem when she hears Domenic cry. She really does look at his picture everyday and smells it. It is so funny. Aaron will definitely miss Keesha when she has to go home. He can't get enough of her kissing her face. She really is a very good girl.

It is so nice to have a little face to lick, that way when you get home I will know how a little face should be licked. It is also a lot less scruffy than daddys - though I do miss licking daddy. You tell daddy that I will make up for lost licking time when he gets home. Let mommy know that I am fine and miss her also. Aunt Cathy is taking very good care of me and shows me your picture every day. I love you and think you are just perfect.

Keep taking good care of mommy and daddy - they have sooooo much love to give us both.

Incidentally, your son shares a birthday now with our son Sammy. When we received our referral one year ago (the 29th) at the annual membership meeting the paperwork revealed that our boy (yours and ours now) were born on the anniversary of the FANA orphanage... pretty cool eh?
