HELP ST. JUDE BY CREATING A PEPPER AT CHILI'S TO FIGHT CHILDHOOD CANCER!!!!

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Chili’s Grill & Bar® announced the kick-off of their fifth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign. Now through September 30, Chili’s restaurants around the country and, for the first time, in Puerto Rico, are marking National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by inviting people to get creative and raise funds to help St. Jude find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
Guests at participating Chili’s restaurants can contribute to St. Jude in multiple ways:

- Make a donation to St. Jude and receive a Create-A-Pepper chili pepper coloring sheet designed for display at restaurants during the month.

- Purchase Create-A-Pepper T-shirts that can be customized with permanent marker.

- Buy a customized Create-A-Pepper key that can be cut for use at home or the office.

- Eat at Chili’s on Monday, Sept. 29, when Chili’s will donate 100 percent of profits from participating restaurant sales to St. Jude.

Visit www.createapepper.com and to make an online donation.

Hi Ballards-
Just wanted to stop by and say hello and ask you to take a look at Alexandria's website update. There are some interesting facts that we are trying to get out to cancer moms and dads. We need to spread the word about S 911 to get this passed into law for all the kids that are fighting, or will fight eventually if this disease continues to increase at such an alarming rate.

Talk to you soon hopefully...God Bless you all.
The kids still ask about the boys all the time and we still say prayers for them.

Hugs-
Alison

Hi Ballard! How are you? Long time no see.... Way too long. I've been thinking about you and the family. How are the boys? I bet everyone is getting huge - I know mine are. Lincoln weighs over 100 lbs now... Hard to believe. He's playing football, wrestling and starting basketball. Middle school next year uuuugh.... Lindley is enjoying school and her friends and riding horses. We have a show in Kentucky this weekend! She's soooo excited. Wyatt is loving Kindergarten and wrestling. He is my comedian. Typical 3rd child syndrome. Always smiling..
How is Chris? I bet he's busy with his job. Is he liking it? Hope so. Say hi from all of us here in St Louis. You need to make another trip. Bring the kids! We'd love to see you. Hope all is well. Big hugs.
Love, Schwartz

Hi Ballards! I haven't been in Connor's room this year, so I've lost track of him. It's great to read he will get his port out. Another step away from treatment. Hannah got hers out December 27th--yea! Glad that Cayden is also doing well. We'll look forward to seeing him at Spring Ridge next year. Hopefully things are slowing down for you a bit after the holidays. We will keep your dad in our prayers. My father died of lymphoma in September, so I have some idea of what you are going through. Take care!

Hi guys,
It is so good to hear that Connor and Caden are doing well. God must have some awesome things planned for your family because he is allowing all of you to endure more pain and suffering in a few short years than most families will ever go through. As I read the update my heart sunk when I read the news about Lisa’s dad. I’m sure you are thinking, “God, when is all of this going to stop?”

As we have been on this journey for the past 6 years we are reminded many times of the precious children, who are no longer here, who are going through treatment, who are finished with treatment or those yet to be diagnosed. Throughout it all it has been very difficult to remember that God is sovereign and in complete control. We know that God allows many things to happen, both good and bad. We know that we live in a fallen world because of sin, and even the most innocent and precious have to endure its horrible affects. The realization of that doesn’t change the fact that we hurt and experience pain beyond description. The reality is that God is using horrible circumstances to reveal the power of His son to countless people that are on the periphery watching your testimony being lived out each day.

Thank you for your continued prayers, your updates and we praise the Lord that the boys are doing so well. We will also pray that God will provide a miracle for Lisa’s dad.

We love you guys,
Kailie's mommy & daddy forever,

Hello
My name is Tiesha. I don't quite remeber how I made it here it was a link through a link through a link I think.... But here I am. WOW you are a brave and courageous family. My daughter MJ was diagnosed with ALL also, in Oct 2003 at the age of 16m. IT was devastitating news. But to go through it twice. I can't imagine the strength and courage you family had to muster up to be where you are today. You must truly be an amazing family for God to give you two children that would need a little extra help in this world.
MJ also finished her treatment on June 1st this summer. It was a long but never hopless raod. I feel for you having to walk it twice. It sounds like both of your boys are doing great. I will pray for your continued success in beating this terrible disease.
Prayers from Tucson:O)

Hey Lisa, Chris and Clan! It's been sooooo long since I've written and I'm sorry - time has a way of passing but no excuses! I miss you guys. I was looking at some photos the other day and came across quite a few from Lincoln's B-day and soccer team party. There is one of he and Connor that is so precious... They were so little and had such sweet baby faces... i can't believe how they've grown. I'm so proud of Connor - what an enormous feat! You are a true Warrior Connor. Way to go. I'm sure Caden is riding on your shirt tail. We continue to pray for the entire family.
All is well here. We sure could use a visit from the Ballard's.. Kiss all those kids for me. Miss you tons,

Hi. Carrie Philson sent me a link to your boys page. We were talking about them at church on Sunday.
I can not imagine what the stress & anxiety of having two of your children fighting cancer. Our daughter is also a cancer patient and somedays I can't tell up from down. I have no idea how you can keep up with two roadmaps, two sets of counts, two kids with side effects to care for, never the less all the fear and heart ache times two. Well, I probably do know - probably the same way I do it with one - God.
Any way, my heart goes out to you and your precious family. May God bless both of your boys with long and healthy lives and you with peace in your heart.

Hi Lisa! I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but we worked together at Lankford & Assoc in KC looong ago... I can't believe I stumbled on this site today. Just this afternoon I was cleaning out our office and came across your Christmas letter from 2003, informing of Connor's cancer. I think about you guys all the time and then found the letter and you all were really on my mind. Then this evening I was looking at a friend's caringbridge site and just decided to try typing in Connor's name! I'm so happy to have found this and to hear that both the boys are doing well. I hope you update soon so I can hear the good news.

I wish there wasn't such a gap in our communication but I'm looking forward to starting again... My prayers to you and your family.

I also wanted to get Kelly's address from you. I was so saddened to learn of Skylar's passing and wanted to offer my support to her.

Well, I hope you all are enjoying the summer and I know you are counting down the days until August 3rd and your "off-chemo party" for Connor.....it is hard to believe it has been 3 years.

I did not put the music on our page (way above my techno challenged brain) but I can get you the info that tells you how to do it. (Another caringbridge dad helped us out.) I hope you all are surviving the cold winter.....SPRING is coming soon......PTL !!!!!!

Talk to you soon...
With love and big hugs-

Hi there kiddos~
Ran into your mom and dad today at lunch. I haven't seen them in ages! Your parents and I knew each other in High School. They told me all about your journey. God couldn't have given you two better people to love you and take care of you the way your mom and dad do! You have been added to my prayer list, and I will check back often. You boys stay strong and have a WONDERFUL 2006, OK? :-)

Glad to see an update and it sounds like you all have been VERY busy !!!!!! We are always thinking about you and praying for you guys. I am helping Cherie teach KICKS class at Fellowship and a few weeks ago I asked if anyone wanted to pray for someone and one of the kids said, "I want to pray for Connor and Caden who have cancer." I thought that was so sweet. We all love you guys and hope you are hanging in there as best as you can.

Hi Ballards!
It was SO GREAT to see you all while the girls and I were back in NE. Connor and Caden - you are both such amazing boys; we pray for your health and comfort. Thanks for playing so nicely with Alexa and Elena. Carson - the girls had a SUPER time running around with you!! We'll look forward to seeing you all again at our next visit. Lisa - even when you are completely exhausted (which must be often!) and think you have nothing left to give, I know that the bit of strength there is STILL "super mom" power. You and Chris are heroes right along with your little guys. I wish I was there to lend a helping hand now and then; please know you are always in my thoughts. Take care, all! Love, "Krick"

Hi Ballards, No news is always good news. Lisa, I know a little of how your feel. Our heroic kids just want to be like everyone else. When Skylar makes wishes, he ALWAYS wishes first to go to Disney World, and second to be able to play with other kids whenever he wants. Your strength is amazing, just to keep your family going is such a task. I always feel like we live a parallel life to non cancer families, we're doing the same things, but not quite in the same way. It affects every aspect of our lives and relationships. Tomorrow will be a better day, you'll have all of your strength back and once again be Super Mom!!! Hi Lisa and family,

There must be some nasty cold going around because our family also has had one on top of another. Ryan has had so many they tested his IGG levels, if the IGG is low they are prone to infections, just thought I'd mention it in case you have not heard of it, it was new to me, his levles were low, but not low enough to need and infusion.

I hope Caden's counts come up and that Connor continues to do well, take care, always thinking of your family...

So unfair that a family has to endure such a burden. We are praying for you all. My daughter Molly is in remission from ALL, and I remember the hard work involved during treatment. Your poor little guys. If its any encouragement to you, I look back at the treatment and can't believe its been 5 years since diagnosis. I pray your boys do well and that you all have a Merry Christmas.

Just wanted to stop & let you know we're all thinking & praying for you,
when I can't do nothing else, I can go to my knees for you, and it's my honor.
I've been following your story for sometime, and pray for your strength to care
for your two sweet boys, and for the boys healing. Strength & peace for each day, &
may He send you HELP in the form of family & friends
when you can't find the strength to carry on, I pray someone fixes your dinners &
helps with your laundry, and offers a shoulder when you need one.
When all is said & done, may you feel the inter peace to
enjoy a moment of Christmas, peace as only He can give
and may your family have a Blessed Christmas, too.
Sincere prayers for you, Connor & Caden...

Lisa and Chris..thanks for including sky's web site on yours. In the last few weeks we have really relied on everyone's prayers. I thnk of you often. We are praying for both Caden and Connor and for your family to be strong. I know how hard it is to care for one boy during chemo, I can't even imagine having the strength to care for two. You and Chris are certainly special people. We may be back at Childrens for one more round of chemo before we have to go to another hospital so maybe we'll see you there. Cris

hi everybody! i hate that you all are having to go through this, but i am glad that you seem to be getting a little less frazzled. getting over the shock and into the 'zone' if you know what i mean. one of the things that i think of when faced with a little one in treatment is; maybe they will be done with all of this so young that they won't even remember it. won't that be nice, when all of this is just a memory and your children are running around happy and healthy!
well i should go. good luck on your tests and keep in touch.

I cannot imagine your pain of dealing with two boys with cancer, but God can and He is holding you in his arms. Another ALL-KIDS subscriber here. I an sooo, so very sorry that your little guy Caden has to go through the long, hard journey like big brother Connor. It just isn't fair. It is encouraging that Connor is doing so well these days, though. Caden will be thriving like his big bro, too! Lisa,
I am so, so sorry to hear about your little Caden. I can't imagine the horror you felt that day when you saw the CBC results. Please know that I have now added both Connor and Caden's names, as well as your entire family, to my prayer list. The list keeps getting longer and longer unfortunately. Inocent children's lives that will be changed forever. I do believe, being the mother of one child with ALL, that the kids who have to battle cancer have a different outlook on life. They are truly my heros.

Hello, I'm friends with the Rhines & Alison. My son, Andy, was a Dr. Bob kid for over 8 years; he had gone to Heaven before you all started treatment, I think. Hello Ballard Family,
Alison emailed us with your devastating news on Friday. I was praying for you all anyway, but now I'll turn up the volume! Fortunately for Caden, you spotted it early. We can do a Dream for him, too. Just let me know when you'll be free for Connor's Dream and what Caden's is and we'll get right on it.

Lisa,

We heard the news of Caden's diagnosis on Friday. We simply could not believe it. We were in the car heading out of town when Alison called us. When we got off the phone, we immediately prayed for you all. Please know that we will continue to pray for you, Chris, and all 4 of your kids. We pray that God will give you strength as you deal with the boys' illnesses, new baby, etc. We also wanted to share one of Kailie's favorite verses with you:

Philippians 4:6-7

"Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace that passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Love and miss you all!

Hi Lisa,
How are you? I think about you often. You must be one of the strongest women in the world. God has put a lot on your plate, and you have handled it with grace and digmity. You are a role model for all of us. I hope that you have been able to find a few minutes in between being a mom, a wife, a choufer, a housekeeper, etc. to take care of yourself.
Connor is always in my prayers. I am so glad he is doing well. He is an awesome little boy. I love the pictures Chris e-mailed of the kids. They're getting so big!!! I can't wait to see pictures of the newest member of the Ballard family. Love to you all!

God bless. This is my first time to your site, I've been to many like it. On another site, for a little girl named Alexandria, I found a link to this place, whereas you were neighbors to the family of Angel Alexandria. I hope Connor continues to do well. My favorite name for a boy happens to be Connor, Connor Daniel, and your children are beautiful. Connor is brave and strong, so continue this war as I know you will, little one. Love! <3.

Hi Lisa and Connor I come to you via Alison and Alexandria's site. You gotta love those steroids, dont you? My son was also diagnosed with ALL, and Sept. he will be one year Off treatment already. She has not been scared or upset because she has gotten strength from thinking about you. Think what good work you are doing for God, by setting a brave example for even adults. Hello Connor & Ballard Family,
I found your link in Alexandria's guestbook while I was there to visit her family. I've been sitting and reading the journal entries and just have to say how brave you are Connor.

If you would enjoy having your very own personalized online quilt, have Mom or Dad click on the card I'm leaving and come visit us at Quilts of Love. We would be so honored to make one JUST for you with all your favorite things on it.

Meanwhile, you will be in my prayers and I'll be back to check on you.

Well, my life is rough sometimes. But, I've never had chemo and I've never hung on a cross. It is a mystery what part of me is made in God's image sometimes. I look up while worshipping and know that my Father is singing words over me as I sing under Him. Connor is a beautiful example of the image of Christ. Do we see ourselves free of suffering when we look at Connor? Do we become thankful? Greatful? I pray that we all continue sanding the edges off of each other as we walk around side by side in this life. Let's decide to choose Jesus' way over our way a few more times today than usual. More of Him and less of me.

Hi Connor! Stay strong and you're blood will feel better before you know it. Then you can tell everyone cool stories about Kindergarten and all of your new friends. Maybe then you can even talk you're mommy and daddy into taking you fishing or to go camping or to go to the amusement park. When you're not feeling so good, think of the fun things that you will want to do when you're feeling better and tell you're daddy to make a list and start planning. We love you big guy and can't wait to see you.

Dear Ballard Family,

Conor!
This was my first visit to your special page. My favorite part was seeing those pictures of you! I love seeing your smiling face! Conor I love you so much and I always will. I know it may be hard to understand why you hurt sometimes. But God knows what a strong boy you are. He knows you can get through anything. He also knows what loving family and friends you have that will always take such good care of you. You are very special, Conor, and you mean so much to me. I can't wait until the next time I get to be with you. I will never forget the time I was with you when we laughed together for the longest time. Everytime we looked at each other we just cracked up. Remeber?! We couldn't even stand up! Your laughter makes me light up inside; I love it so much! Keep on laughing, Conor. I love you so much.

Lisa, Chris, (& my precious Carson & Caden, of course)
It's hard for me to believe that something so horrible has come upon such an amazing child. But God must have a special plan for him. This will only make him stronger. He knows that Conor is strong enough to get through this and HE WILL get through this. I know somewhat what you are going through. It may be hard to stay positive and remain hopeful day after day. I want you to know that I am here for you always. We all are. I would do anything for your kids, especially for Conor. NEVER, EVER hold back asking me for ANYTHING. If you need a sitter at 3 o'clock in the morning... CALL ME! :) As we have talked about, Lisa, I am an exact match to Conor and will give him anything he needs. I am constantly thinking of you all and you are in my prayers always. I love you all.

sometimes things or events need to happen in our lifes just to remind us how important GOD is to us and our family. We tend to be so busy in our life that we sometimes forget the real meaning of purpose here on earth. May god bless you conner and your family.

Hey, Connor. We went up to Omaha for the 4th. You wouldn't believe hearing our Papa Wayne say a Hail Mary for you every night before dinner (he only converted to Catholic 16 years ago so that's his excuse why he struggles with it! Hi to all,
I feel a little quity it has been so long since I have written, but have thought of you alot.
We just got back from Canada today. Have been fishing.
It sounds like things are going well there and I am so glad to hear that. Your days sound like they are a little full and not real easy. You seem to be gaining strengh daily. I don't know how you do it, but I guess you don't have many choices. I'm so happy that Connor is doing so well and hope that it continues. I'm sure this experience is making him stronger and growen up be on his years. Chris, if this treatment takes about 3 years he will be about old enough to take to Canada fishing I think. What a time he would have don't you think. The weather was not good when we got there and we were a day and ahalf late getting in. Fishing was really slow when we first got there, but was better the last 2 days.
Well forgive me for not writting for so long and hang in there.
Thinking and praying you and Connor.
Love you all

Hi Connor, This is Pappy from Omaha. I miss you big boy! I have heard that you have been very brave, kinda like a soldier in a battle and you won't give up. I'm very proud of you Connor and I can't wait to see you again very soon. Uncle Josh and I might come down sometime in July to see you. Did you know that angels are all around you because God told them to protect you. So when you sleep or are getting your medicine or are playing on the great swing set or hugging your Mom or wrestling your Dad or begging someone to do another Pokemon, God has His angels all around you kinda like a fence. Ask your Dad about that 'fence of angels'. We all love you Connor with all our hearts and continue to ask God to watch over you and make your blood completely well.....Amen!!

I'm so glad to hear that things are going well right now. Even though I don't write often, I think of you everyday and pray that the strenght you have is making this a little bit easier on you, if that is possible. Chris & Lisa,
I was sad to hear of Connor's illness. But he sounds like a strong little boy. He'll pull through. God is on his side! Put your faith in his hands & he'll lead you through it.
May he bless & keep you all safe in this long journey.
You are in our thoughts & prayers.

It was so nice to see you today. You are as handsome as ever!! We are so proud of you for being so brave with all of those yucky shots. You could sure teach Spiderman a thing or two! Rachel, Madison and Jordan said to give you a big kiss. I know that is probably gross coming from girls but they insisted. XOXXO We love you Connor and pray for you everyday!!!

This is Jon Thiel. My mom told me that we could write you a letter on the computer. We have been saying our prayers for you. Maybe when you feel better we could play. I know that God visits you and he answers prayers. You can call me on the phone anytime you want to and I can sing to you and tell you jokes. You are very nice and funny.

Lisa, Chris and Connor,
I'd like to take a moment to tell you how much I admire all of you. Your strength, your faith, your resiliency are amazing. From that very first day, when I received your phone call about Connor's leukemia to today, I have watched and listened to our precious family move from utter fear to a resolve which is amazing. If we could walk in your shoes, take away your pain, and heal your emotions we certainly would. We thank God that you have the closeness, love and support of each other.
It is terribly difficult to be so far away and of so little help, but we are so extremely comforted by the overwhelming support of your neighbors and friends in St. Louis. Please, thank them for us as we are sure you are so often. (Michelle, Kim, Susan, Cherie...your kindness to me while I was there is deeply appreciated)
Sitting here tonight, thinking of your phone call today, Lisa, brings a smile....you in the Explorer with all three kids in tow, all of them asking you for something different and saying...WHY? And Connor asking for Schlotsky with LOTS of CHEESE on the top and LOTS of HAM on the bottom. And, it was only 10 o'clock in the morning!!
May God bless all of you.
All our love and kisses coming your way

I apologize it has taken me so long to get an entry in your guestbook. I've been trying to put into words all the emotions that I feel for all of you and it's impossible. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers and I wish somehow I could make all the pain go away for Connor.
Lisa- I truly believe that God brought us closer together so I could be here for you and your family through this challenge. Please know you can lean on me for anything!! It was so nice to get you out this past weekend! Too bad we couldn't kidnap Julie and keep her here!
Connor- You are amazing! You have more courage than spiderman! And such a wonderful smile!! You have touched the hearts of people who have never met you-- Pretty cool huh? Meagan, Cassidy and Brianna hope you can come over soon and play Shrek on xbox.

I have had the pleasure of being Connor's teacher for the past two years. I first met Connor at our preschool orientation. He was so excited and eager to start school. He brought me a gift. It was a bundle of pencils tied in ribbon. He gave me the pencils and a huge smile. His excitement and joy filled my heart. Since then, I have had the pleasure and joy to get to know Connor and his family. This is a family full of love and kindness. Their faith in God and in each other is strong. I pray that God continues to give them the strength and courage to fight this horrible disease. I look forward to seeing Connor's smile this fall when he walks his younger sister into my classroom. Connor is a special boy who has touched my heart.
Connor, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you, tiger!
Lisa and Chris, please call me, if there is anything you need.

Hi Chris and Lisa-
Sounds like things are going well. This morning when we were leaving the house Taylor was saying a prayer (it looks more like making a wish in a wishing well). I thought for sure she was praying for a new toy or something and so I said to her, "you should be praying for Connor to get better" and she said, "that's what I was doing". I'll pray for your strength on Wednesday. I am so glad you have such a great support system. Good friends are priceless.

Hey Lisa and Chris, I just read your update and I am so glad you had a great weekend! I thank God for your wonderful friends there. I will be praying for you on Wednesday, as always. I was just reading in Romans and God brought Connor to by heart. Rom 5:1-5 says, " Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy spirit who has been given to us." I think God would remind us that he is with you at all times, he wil give you strength, he will dry your tears, he has the power to heal Connor and he hears the voices of the righteous. Be encouraged, he will give you grace. I will pray without ceasing - Love Jen

Hey Connor! This is Nanna and Pappy. I've heard that you need some more Pokemon pictures. I might be able to do a few of those, but only if you have plenty of money in your checkbook. The last time we did a few of these when we were visiting you, your payment was a little light so we need to talk about that before the "Drawing Machine" starts creating the masterpieces for you. Did you know that Nanna and I are asking God to make your blood clean and normal so you can get outside and do all the things you love to do. I bet you would love to go fishing with your Dad so you could help him and share your tackle box with him. Are you praying Connor? Do you know that God listens to you and deeply loves you so HE wants you to be well and safe! We love you very much and can't wait to see you, Carson and Caden. Give them a hug for us! See ya later.

I thought it would help with connors mood swings from the prednisone. I'm sure you have already told him that Jesus can help him through those times. How is everyone doing, better I hope. I tryed this earlier and I don't know what I did wrong, but my message was not on here, so I'm trying again. Hope your feeling a little better Connor. This is from your aunt Linda, whom you don't remember I'm sure. I'm Morgans grandma. I hear your being a very brave little boy. It's not very much fun to go to the hospital to get well is it. Soon though I'll bet you will be feeling better. I wish I lived closer so I could come visit you. I say a little prayer every day and think about you alot. Grandma Marilyn said you have a game boy. If you have a new game you would like I would really like to send it to you. Just tell your mom to let ne know.

The internet is an amazing way to keep in touch isn't it? I don't know what I would have done without it on my trip and now I am so happy to be able to know what is going on with your family. I pray that God will give you and Connor the strength to get through this and I see that he has already, and also that he will help you make the most of each day, in a positive way, I am sure that is so hard to do at this point because we don't why you have to carry this burden but someday I am sure you will have an answer to that tough question "why?". I will have to look at Wal-mart and see if I can find the latest up to date pak the next time I work. Dear Connor, (and Lisa, Chris and family)
I am your Grandma Johnson's cousin. I am sooooo.... sorry to hear of your illness, but I know if doctors, nurses, prayer, and support from many, many people can help, then you have a POWERFUL team working to make you better. I'm glad I can check the webpage each day to see how you are doing. You are in my prayers and I know Jesus is walking with you.

Hi Connor--
I do not know you but heard alot about you at your cousin Doug's wedding last weekend. It definitely sounds like you are quite the trooper; and that is good Connor; cuz the more you fight and the harder we pray--we will beat this ugly disease and you will be back playing with all your friends and chasing all your little girlfriends.
Hang in there Connor we all love you and are praying daily for your recovery--and when you get all better I think we should have an all Endorf reunion not only to see everyone but to celebrate the milestones you have accomplished.
You take care now and if there is anything back here in Mitchell that we can do--you just let us know.
Love and Prayers

Hi Sweetheart! Just wanted you to know how much I love you and to let you know that our church is praying for you too.
I thought of a prayer I prayed every night before I went to sleep, I can remember it so clearly, I was your age when I learned it by myself! "Loving Jesus, gentle lamb, in your gracious hands I am, watch over me I pray this night, until I see the morning light". Amen
I love you soooooooo much! I know I'll see you very soon.

Hey Connor Boy!! This is pappy, remember? One of your coloring machines? My right hand hasn't been the same since the Pokemon Marathon at your house and I don't think you paid me enough money for all those drawings I did. I did get to know your sister Carson and lil bro'Caden pretty well. Has your Mom and Dad told you what a very special boy you are and how GOD is looking out for you each moment of each day? Do you know that GOD has a very wonderful plan for you while you are sick and even after that!! Has your Mom and Dad told you how angels are standing near you when you are awake watching TV or getting your medicine and even while you sleep so don't worry, you will be well soon and running faster than you ever have before. The way your Dad is training, you will be running faster than him by your 6th Birthday. We miss you Connor and continue to love you with all our hearts- Praying for your speedy healing, healthy blood and "ALL Systems" GO!!!

Hi Connor! My name is Becky and I have been friends with your aunt and uncle Leslie and Scott for just about forever! I even remember what a great job you did walking down the aisle and their wedding! You look very nice in a tuxedo, you know! I hear you are being very brave at the hospital. There are many people in Omaha that are very proud of you and think about you and your family very often. There is lots of love coming your way! A girl at my work named Teresa is even running a long race (over 26 miles!) in California to help raise money for other kids and grown-ups who have to go to the doctor like you have done lately. They hope to find new and better ways to help. Teresa is going put your name on a big list she will take with her all the way in California! That way love will be coming to you from ALL OVER! Everyone is very proud of you! (Lisa, I'll try to send pics of the Luekemia Society CA Marathon if you'd like. It's the first week of June. You're in my prayers, too)

Hi, Connor!
Mom and Dad tell me you are being a very brave little boy when you have to get some new blood and get numbing cream on your leg! Papa and I are sooooo proud of you. You are so lucky to have a mommy and daddy, a little sister and brother who love and care for you so much. Remember, it makes them cry too to see you unhappy - that's cause they all love you sooo much!! When do you want Mima and Papa to come see you again? Just let us know....and we'll be there!! I would really love to have a picture that you have drawn to put on our refrigerator when you feel like sending one. We are praying for you everyday, Connor! We send our love and kisses your way!

Hi Conner, my name is Carson. My mom is really good friends with your aunt Leslie. We have been saying our prayers everynight for you and your family. So many people love you and our thinking about you. Take care of yourself and tell your mom and dad that you are starting to get a really BIG FAN CLUB. We know you are a brave boy with a big heart and all of this seems so scarey. I would be really scared also. It is o.k. to be scared, but just remember how many people are thinking about you. Hope to meet you some day in person. Love, Carson
