Marty and I are filled with saddness at Hope's passing. And yet we were very uplifted by the deep faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, that you - Dale and Teresa, and Faith too, have shown for all of us! Plus, the faith and prayers of so many people has been so moving and inspiring, and most of all, knowing that Hope is with the Lord.

It was truly a privilege to be with Hope and her mom and dad and Faith. To be able to pray and cry, and a laugh here and there, to help cope. As we attended our Rockwell City Ecumenical servies this morning two Bible verses stood out in my heart - John, Chpt. 14 vs 1-3 - "Let not yor heart be troubled. You have faith in God; also have faith in me. In my Father's house there are many dwellings. If there were not, would I have told that I am going to prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you myself, so that where I am going you may be!"

We are sad yet rejoice that Hope is in the house of her Heavenly Father. And watching Faith was inspiring in her faith in the Lord. The words of Jeusus Christ in Luke Chpt. 18 vs 17 - "Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the Kingdom of God like a child will not enter it." I pray to the Lord we may all have such faith.

Hi Dale and Teresa, What can I say, I'm not very good with words. I am ssoooooo sorry!!!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful child with all of us. My family, my students, and I have been greatly blessed by knowing this little angel named Hope. Your strength, your love, and the magnitude of your hope was nothing less than amazing. Hope knew your love and received such a beautiful gift of family while here with us for such a short time. I will cherish the day she gripped my finger and let me kiss and play with her little tiny feet. She is now in a place we all have to wait to get to. I'm jealous. As the snow fell tonight in the neighborhood, I couldn't help but think that the beautiful fresh, heavy, and white snowdrops were from Hope. Sent directly from heaven. They were so peaceful and eloquent.

One of my students today was really touched by the news of Hope passing, yet he assured me that his daddy would take good care of her in heaven as well as his dog. Kyle lost his dad to death when he was in kindergarten. He also smiled and said that Hope is probably pulling on his dog's tail. Which his dog apparently liked. How precious. I let Kyle write you today. I'm sure Hope boogey, woogied all the way home in style. I am here for anything you might need in the coming days. My prayers, you can count on.

We recently received news of your new baby through Scott and Jennifer Dohrmann. Since then you have been in our thoughts. Our daughter was born 3 months premature nearly 21 years ago. I must say that after reading your journal entries and all the guestbook entries, I stand in awe of our most Sovereign God.

Only God could take your tiny little Hope and draw people closer to Him. It is God who has put so much love in your family and friends hearts that it cannot help but pour out of their hearts into prayer for Hope.

Our prayers are with you and Marty and I have been attending daily masses and communion and offering both for the Francis family and beautiful little Hope.

It is wells stated in PSALMS 127 & 128 - "Children are a gift from God; they are His reward...That is God's reward for those who reverence and trust Him..." Trust in our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. The Francis family, again, especially Hope are in our thoughts each day.

Someone sent us your story on email... Sounds a lot like our oldest child, Sawyer. He was hypoxic at birth, Apgars of 1 at 1 min and 5 at 5 min. He spent 18 days in the NICU at St. Mary's in Duluth, MN. He's doing well now with just a few delayed milestones. We'll always wonder how much he was affected by his trauma. We thank God for his healing. We'll pray for Hope.
Let us know if you want more details, pictures, we'd be glad to send them. By the way, Sawyer is about 22 months old now.

Surgery was done to correct the problem. That was done 30 years ago. He's married now with two children of his own.May God bless your family.

I do not know you or your family but I recieved this e-mail and it touched my life. It reminded me of my little girl born 2 years ago. She was born with a complex congential heart defect and we to had an unexpected hosptial visit. We still have many visits now. We are waiting for her to have her 3rd open heart surgery. Those pictures are so real to me. Whenever I hear of anyone going through a time like this or I hear the life flight helicopter I just say a prayer that God would give the family peace, and that is my prayer for you today. May God give you peace in each and every decision you have to make in all the coming days.

It's Friday night and I'm thinking of you, all of you. I look at the new pictures and the tears come to my eyes. You all look so wonderful, actually very beautiful! What an "awesome" looking family. I look at you Dale and I see you in Faith and I see you in Hope. Your daughters are so beautiful, just like you are handsome. I look at you Teresa and I also see you in Faith and Hope. You are all are so beautiful and pretty. I remember the day when my sister, Teresa, was both Faith's and Hope's age. She looked just like Hope when she fit so well in my arms and she looks like Faith when we would walk to the local dairy queen, holding hands, along with sister Vicki to get ice cream cones or malts. One of these days, I'm going to be able to hold Hope in my arms and and hold Faith's hand and Teresa, Vicki, and I will all take a stroll to the dairy queen together...I remember what Teresa always wanted...Butterscotch malt. The next time we go, Hope, Faith, Teresa, Vicki, and I will all have to have Butterscotch, I know we will. After all, daughters take after their mother. They take after their father too, and he has the greatest sense of humor. Hope, Faith, and Dale will carry that laughter throughout the years and our family will laugh all night because that's what makes the world go round. I can't wait to enjoy these little pleasures in life with all of you. God bless you and may we see all of you soon.

May 27, 2000 Calista Sue was born. We didn't know for weeks if she would survive. I remember all the familiar terms; ventilator, the oxygen that took weeks to wean her from, EEG's that showed damage, kidney's not working properly, heart valve problems, surgeries, feeding tubes and the list goes on. As you know our little "Calie Sue" pulled thru. Although she has some challenges, she is a happy healthy beautiful little girl. All are God's children, he has a plan for all of us. The uncertainty is difficult. Our prayers continue for our dear nieces and wonderful sister & brother. We Love You So Much !

What a beautiful little girl to add to your already beautiful family. May the Lord put His healing hands around your new little girl and watch over her as she grows. I have been a teacher for 11 years now, and want to share a story with you, one I found out about less than 2 weeks ago. I have a 3rd grade girl in my class, whom I just had tested for a minor learning disability. When her father came in for a conference, he shared with us that when Stephanie was born, she, too, had to be recessitated, which just like Hope, took 30 minutes. The doctors told them they should just let her go, but they insisted that the doctors continue. This girl is a beautiful, wonderful, bubbly, normal child, with only a very MINOR learning disibility. The Lord has already performed numerous miracles as Hope has already come along way since Saturday. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

She is now today walking, talking, laughing, living and loving like I've never seen her before and, this may be the biggest miracle of all, has accepted Jesus as her personal savior.We had a Deacon from the church pray over her while she was in ICU.
