OUR ANGEL IN HEAVEN

Welcome to Connor's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about the progress of Connor's journey to health.

Connor was first diagnosed with Leukemia on December 6, 2000. He was due to complete his maintenance therapy in March of 2004. In April of 2003, he relapsed. He had a bone marrow transplant in August of 2003. Connor relapsed again in November and went to heaven on Febuary 19th, 2004, six days before his sixth birthday.

The courage and determination Connor displayed during his journey will inspire those that knew him forever. He is our Hero, and will be missed by everyone that loved him.

Thank you for stopping to visit Connor's website.

The big news is that Tammy has accepted Brad Pint's nomination to run for "Woman of the Year for The Leukemia and Lymphomas Society. She is doing this to honor Connor's memory, and to raise money for a cure so that other families will not have to lose a child. The Man and Woman candidates each try to raise the most money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in a 9 week period of time. Whoever raises the most, will be named Man or Woman of the year. There are a number of events that Tammy is having to help her quest to win the honor of Woman of the Year. All money earned during these events will go towards her campaign. These events include:

1) Connor's Skate for a Cure. This event will be held April 30th from 6-8 pm at Wooddale Fun Zone in Woodbury. The cost is $7, and there wil be fun, games, and raffles. Please join us for a night of fun for the whole family!

2) There will also be an Adult Prom on June 2nd at the Northland Inn. This is the second annual Adult prom. Brad Pint (Connor's radiation Buddy) had the 1st Annual last year as a fundraiser for his quest for Man of the Year (He was runner up). This event will have a sit down dinner, a DJ with music and dancing, as well as many raffle and auction items. Please let us know if you would be interested in attending this event.

3) Tammy has organized various "Hat days" and "Dress Down" days at local schools.

4) Tammy also has a web site for donations ( www.active.com/donate/mnmwoy07/4Connor) If you know of anyone interested in supporting this cause, please pass on this website.

5) Tammy is currenty selling tickets to, and collecting auction items for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Gala on June 15th. this is a great event that will announce the winners of the Man and Woman of the Year at the end of the night.

Please contact us if you are interested in, or have any questions regarding these events. Also let us know if you, or anyone you know would be interested in donating any auction items for the various events.

Tammy is also on the leadership board for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, which will occur at the Woodbury High School Track on June 22nd. For more information on that event, please visit www.relayforlife.org. There will be a "Team Connor" for this event. The Woodbury Bulletin just did a story on this in this weeks edition (April 18th. Please pick up a copy and read about it!

Tammy will be very busy over the next few weeks. We appreciate any help any of you can provide. Finding cures for diseases that take young people in their prime are progressing every day. If you ever have some free time, start at the very first journal entry on this site to see what kids who get a disease without a 100% percent cure rate have to go though.

Thanks again for stopping by this site and remembering Connor.
