Aunt Diane <dianewburgh@aol.com> West Fargo, ND - Sunday, January 4, 2009 1:14 PM CST Well, Carson -- I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER forget 7 years ago today. The phone calls from your Grammy, waiting to hear the updates, the candle. The whole day just unfolded like a beautiful rose. As much as we wanted to "peel the petals back" and speed up the process -- we couldn't. The beauty had to unfold as God planned it to be. It is still unfolding in your family today. Auntie Diane Newburgh <dianewburgh@aol.com> West Fargo, ND - Tuesday, December 30, 2008 10:55 PM CST Carson, It looks like you are a great big brother! I am very happy for your family. I found your website by reading another that has the same disease. I am Andrew Braaten's daughter and Martha Braaten's granddaughter. So your Grandma is my cousin. I am very happy that you and family are doing well. Have a wonderful Holiday season. I hope to meet you all sometime. Marion DeMoss Marion DeMoss Hillsboro, ND USA - Saturday, November 29, 2008 11:59 AM CST Carson and Family ~ I can not belive that I have waited this long to contact you. I think that for the past few years I have tried to distance myself from other stories of liver disease. It is really hard to hear about other sick kids even when there are good stories with good endings. I am hoping that you remember us. My name is Angie Baird and my son is Jace. He was born 9/17/05 and at 4wks was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. So far we have been very lucky to "dodge" having to have a liver transplant but it is on our minds every day. I would really love to get more involved with supporting other families. It sounds like you have all been quite the support system for many friends! Please contact me and check out Jace's story on the caring bridge. (jacebaird) Thanks and take care! Angie Baird <abaird@uescogroup.com> Fargo, ND USA - Wednesday, October 29, 2008 1:16 PM CDT Congratulations on your new baby sister. This is the first I've gotten to read your story. We have included Carson in our nightly prayers. He truly is such a brave young man, he has been such an inspiration to me. when life seems to be stressing with the little things, all I have to do is look at Carson, remember the countless things his little body has been through and it puts everything in perspective that frequently people (including myself) forget about the bigger picture of our journey. God's grace and peace to you as you persue your journey. Please know that whatever I could do, as a bethlehem family member and friend, do not hesitate to ask. Get healthy!! Jamin Tanya and Megan Tauer <mrt0697@yahoo.com> Bismarck, ND USA - Tuesday, February 20, 2007 2:15 PM CST Hi there Kitchs' - So glad to hear all the good news on Mr. Carson's test results. Keep up the good work, Carson. I feel really bad that I had to read your "update" to find out that the West Prairie chuch burned down. We know that was a special church to your mommy and daddy, and we were all there at their wedding. We won't get the Williston paper until tomorrow as today is a holiday, where I can read some particulars. We are going to the Allards this weekend in South Dakota and the Maanums are coming down also--so we get to see your special friends, Lacee and Jaden. Just take care and enjoy this wonderful weather. Mommy, have a good trip and you "boys" stay out of trouble. Tom & Thale Ludwick <tludwick@nemontel.net> Bainville, Mt USA - Monday, February 19, 2007 3:24 PM CST Happy Valentine's Day to Carson! Amy, Carly's Mom WI - Monday, February 12, 2007 9:37 PM CST Hi Carson- I just sent your Mommy an e-mail, which jerked my chain to check your updates. And there I found a new one!! I'm so glad that your check-ups were boring. But actually nothing is boring when you are around -- so I'm guessing that you made the doctors' day a little brighter. Here's hoping that you all have that strep throat in check and that everyone is feeling fine again. (no more sneaking around with that.) You can play other tricks instead. Love and Prayers, Auntie Diane <dianewburgh@aol.com> West Fargo, ND - Friday, February 2, 2007 5:32 PM CST I just read your latest update; and WOW, what memories those pictures bring. It was emotional, but wonderful to read. It was so fun to see you on Christmas eve and Christmas Day. Thank you for having us over. It was wonderful for our grandson David to have the experience of the "Birthday Cake for Jesus." That was so special. And Carson -- you and your family are ALWAYS special to us and we enjoy getting together with you whenever we can. Barb Barb <rkstar@nccray.com> Wildrose, ND SA - Monday, November 13, 2006 3:38 PM CST Bobbi You are the most popular girl in Wildrose. Everyone asks every one, "HOW'S BOBBI" You were even mentioned in Grace Luthera Church yesterday. Famouf might be the word. I have a 3rd cousin who spent allot of down down there. He had open heart surgery in 2001 , then a liver transplant and then another open heart surgery. He is only 5 but is now in the 1st grade. He too had a Caring Bridge website. I looked today and he has been visited 115,421 times. Can you beat that. His name is Carson Kitch. I bet if you ask around someone will remember him. I notified all 3 girls. I see Susan has already written. Kenny called to see if what he heard about you was true. Mike wonders if you remember the interview you did on him when he was moving his Tarentaise cattle to Alaska. I said,"Of course Bobbi remembers." We were glad to have breakfast with your Mom last Wed. in Bismarck. She filled us in on all that she knew at the time. I have been baking buns and have a kettle of Vegetable Beef soup brewing on the stove. My house smells good. Our prayers are with you Bobbi. You are one of the biggest fighters I know. Prayers and best wishes to you and your mommy and daddy - Your cousin Lisa. Lisa Whittlesey (Brager) <lisa.whittlesey@providence.org> Stanwood, WA USA - Sunday, September 17, 2006 5:36 AM CDT Rhonda, Read this today...and thought of us. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ When life is filled with confusion, we help each other see what's important. When each problem seems so overwhelming, we're there to help share the load. When I think of the word friend, I think of you. God must have known there would be times We'd need a word of cheer Someone to praise a triumph Or brush away a tear. He must ahve known we'd need to share The joy of "little things" In order to appreciate The happiness life brings. I think He knew our troubled hearts Would sometimes throb with pain At trials and misfortunes Or some goals we can't attain. He knew we'd need the comfort Of an understanding heart To give us strength and courage To make a fresh, new start. He knew we'd need companionship Unselfish...lasting...true, So God answered the heart's great need With a cherished friend...like you. God Bless you, my friend! I haven't seen you for so long and you have changed and grown so much! We thank God for your sparkling eyes and I-can-do-it kind of attitude...and we pray for your continued health and vitatlity! Vicki and Peter Schmidt <veschmidt45@msn.com> West Fargo, ND USA - Thursday, September 14, 2006 8:12 PM CDT Carson, you want to try to set the record for the LOWEST lft's, not the highest...Mommy needs to sit down and have a talk with you and straighten you out! hee hee... Seriously, Rhonda, you know I'm holding you all in prayer for better #'s and to figure this all out soon. That AST really did take a hike in the wrong direction. Yikes. Remember...I'll be waiting by the phone any time, my friend. Love the new school pics! And from someone who doesn't know the extended relatives...I thought the pic of Carson with his sunglasses on looks just like Travis! Amy http://crossingdestinies.blogspot.com WI - Thursday, September 14, 2006 6:29 PM CDT OK, Carson, you and I are going to make a deal! You get those lab reports back in order and I say that it's OK for you to wiggle around on the bus a little bit. Not too much; you have to stay safe -- but just enough to get rid of a little energy. Tell your driver (and Mom and Dad) that it's a deal you made with Auntie Diane. A lost tooth, too!! That's not supposed to happen until you are 6. It sneaked up on me. I LOVE all your first day kindergarten photos. I sure wish my grandson would cooperate for photos like that. I agree with Angie (previous message). When I saw that photo with sunglasses, I said to Paul, "If that isn't another little Christopher!" I saw him in you the very first time that I saw you when you were a little baby.... and I still do. Get those labs in order quickly. I'll keep on praying and you keep on having fun in kindergarten (and on the bus). Love to you and lots of prayers. Auntie Diane <dianewburgh @aol.com> West Fargo, ND - Thursday, September 14, 2006 5:16 PM CDT Hi Carson, Trav and Toot! Got the email from your mom last night, Rhonda, and you are all in my prayers!!!!! Hopefully his labs settle back into normal SOON!
