I cannot beleive how big little Charlie is getting!!! And he is walking now!? I am so excited that Sophie is starting dancing, I think she will really enjoy it. I was talking to her teacher from Betty Jo's (Shelly) and she she says she thinks can she can already see some talent, and she can't beleive how smart she is! It is hard to believe that it has almost been over a year since your small group along with Susan and me prayed for you guys in the prayer chapel before the birth of this little guy. And almost a year since we visited Charlie in the hospital to pray over him and you.

I remember hardly finding a place on his body to lay hands (or in his case finger) on him to pray. What a joy to see these wonderful pictures and the glory of God shining on him and you.

How touched I was to read your entry and also to read Mindy's entry to Charlie on New Years. I had tears and got very emotional with the birth of all these beautiful boys and Evan too I can now feel the depth of love for our little ones as you wrote. Wow, what a year!! Charlie and Blake are the boys that I continue to watch in awe as I am trusting that Zach will soon be walking/running/following in their shoes. Hello- I found your webpage through anothers. Boy, Does he have the biggest, brightest blue eyes ever! What an adorable little baby. I have a 9 month old son who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Stage IV when he was a little under 2 months. Those pictures of charlie have reminded me so much of our hospital stay down in the PICU when he was also hooked up to every machine! Just want to let u know that i will always be thinking of you and sending hugs your way!

welll Hello Charlie! I do believe that for as blue your eyes look, Miss Sophies are just as brown!!! How lucky can a mom get?!
Mindy, Tanner was never able to breastfeed. HOWEVER, pumped for 7 months, and actually it was not bad. I think I would have done it longer, but Tanner needed a prescription formula.

Anyway, I cant wait to hear that Charlie is HOME, and soon see pics of his smiling face. What a gift he is.

I am so glad to hear the news. It's ironic, my son Ryan, was born last April with TGA and tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of his surgery. It was also my 40th birthday.
He is doing wonderfully, and I'm sure Charlie will too.

This is Tess' mom Shannon. I just wanted to tell you that I am praying for all of you and want you to know that all you have to do is call for any reason. I know you have a huge support system and please consider us a part of it. I have wondered how things were since I drive by in the morning and don't see a light on in the house - you are probably already up and out the door to see Charlie - He is beautiful and yes - he looks like Daddy! Tell Sophie that we love her and her brother and that if she wants to see Tess - all you have to do is call. I will be thinking of your boy tomorrow and feel confident that everything will be just fine - stressful but fine.

Hi there! Another heart family here. First off, congrats on a beautiful baby BOY, with what appears to be beautiful blue eyes!
4 years ago I sent my son Tanner to open heart surgery. It was the best and worst day of my life. The worst because it was the hardest thing I have ever done, the best because it saved his life. Today Tanner is a happy healthy 4 year old little boy who laughs and loves life. I will keep checking for updates and keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

Charlie is beautiful. He is a big boy, and that is an advantage. You did a wonderful job explaining the defect.
