We got perfect test results once again from Andrew's tests the end of July!!
We've come a long way in three years!! We are still testing every three months. But we are really living a "normal" life again! The Bible verse I quoted helps me to remember - not necessarily the bad - but the good!
We continue to thank God each day for Andrew's health. When our life starts to get "out of control busy" with things that really aren't important, it's easier to step back and prioritize - FAMILY FIRST. Hugging my kids EVERY day is at the top of my list. God has blessed our family with so many good friends, a loving family, and so much more!
Unfortunately, our list of those who need extra prayers seems to get longer and longer. Tom's sister is battling cancer (he lost a sister to cancer about 7 years ago). My bother in-law's twin sister is also starting treatment for breast cancer. Andrew's friend Jake we met in NY from Georgia has had a relapse of neuroblastoma. I know that everyone reading this has several people they know who are also facing cancer.
It amazes me when we say our prayers at night, how Andrew has just the right words in his prayers. He leaves the "big decisions" in God's hands, but he asks for comfort, to those we are praying for. God continues to work through this 10 year old. Remember to say a prayer tonight - to ask God to comfort someone, and to thank God for something in your life!
