Hi guys! Susan G told me she talked to you and that Andrew was doing well. I am so glad to hear that. We are still praying for him every day. Through this site, Nanc and I have met many children and their families that are dealing with cancer. We feel blessed to be able to pray for each of them, and for being able to share in their journeys. Thank you for making this possible for us. We are currently praying for a beautiful little 5 year old from Minnesota - Rachel Hansen. She is doing poorly, and is in need of a miracle. http://www.caringbridge.org/mn/rachelhansen/

We will pray that April's tests are free and clear!

Hey Babe,
Where did the summer go? I have been so busy. Sorry I have not sent to many postcards this summer. I have been out but the places would not be of to much interest to you. Quilting in Gibbon!!! Lunchroom ladies in St. Cloud!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you as a BIG fourth grader.
Lots of hugs and smiles to your family.
Love your friend Cindy Kopacz
p.s. I can not believe I missed the relay. Paul read it in the paper but it was to late. Sorry!

Hey Babe,

Just wanted to say hi and tell you I was thinking about you and your family. Paul and I just got home from florida.
We enjoyed watching Ally the alligator swim in the lake. It will not be a swimming lake (for humans)that is for sure.
Enjoy the rest of the summer. Can you believe you are going into fourth grade?!!! Two more years and you are off to middle school.
Lots of hugs and smiles to your family.
Love your friend, Cindy Kopacz

Dear Ang and Andrew,
I am so happy that this round of treatment is going so well for Andrew! Thank you for your unfailing witness to your faith and trust in God's love and power to heal. I found another verse from scripture that I want to share with you.
"The lost I will seek out, the strayed I will bring back, the injured I will bind up, the sick I will heal..."
Ezekiel 34:16

Praise God for His healing work in Andrew. I hope the rest of your week goes well and that you return home ready for "Summer Fun!"
With Love and Prayers,

Hi Angela & Andrew,
Remembering you all in my thoughts this week, and persevering in prayer. God is so good. Romans 12:12 is so appropriate for this week, and this stage of your life - thank you for sharing it with us. Once again, God is shining his light through you and your family for all to see.

Hang in there Angie. You have every reason in the world to be "grumpy". I can't imagine the journey you have been on and you have all faced it with courage and faith.
Ken and I continue to pray for you and we rejoice in every good report.
We hope this week goes quickly and you soon have all of this behind you.

I am so happy to hear that Andrew is feeling so well in NYC.
He is such a trooper, as is the entire Karp family, (your birth family too, Angie) and all of you have such faith, which I know is being rewarded by your son's healing. Yes, I'll add Canon to my prayers. May the rest of your trip go well and I hope the summer is all it should be for you.

Hi Andrew & Angela -

Greetings from Dingle, Ireland. Saw a charming library that had internet access - much quicker than sending postcards that would surely arrive once we're home! Whether home in Chanhassen, or across the Atlantic, you're never far from my thoughts. My prayers are with you this week in New York. Looking forward to seeing you for lunch soon, Angela!

I am so glad you are doing well this week! We had a great sunny day today. There are no flowers here so I am glad you get to enjoy New York flowers!
I miss you! See you soon!

Happy Easter Karps! Hope this note finds Andrew, and your whole family, doing as well as possible as you spend yet another holiday divided between thoughts/prayers/hopes/fears and cities. Thank you for sharing the links to the Caring Bridge promo and KARE 11 piece! After watching both of them and reflecting along with the sound bites it is clear that the only thing more amazing than Andrew's story is Andrew himself! Each day we pray for continued cancer-free results and that one day soon those NYC antibodies will kick in for good. Take care. Love, Abbe Payton & Family

I just read your entry Ang - I am sorry for Andrew feeling ill so much of the time. Our prayers are that he gets through the rest of treatments as easy as possible. I hope it helps, even a little to know that so many people are praying for the Karps during this Easter weekend.

I am so glad to see this site for the families of children with ailments. My neighbor came over tonight to sell raffle tickets for a little friend that was just diagnosed with leukemia in Dec. She is only 7 yrs. old and her name is Isabel. I told them about your site and they are going to look into it.
Hope things go well for you in New York this next couple weeks.
Our prayers are with you and your family. Have a good Easter!!!

Dear Tom, Angie, and Andrew:
My name is JoAnn Hardegger. My daughter is Brighid Mae Swanson, the inspiration behind caringbridge. I met you sunday night on KARE 11 though we never met in person. I just want to write and thank you all for taking part in the EXTRA. You did an awesome job. I was very touched by Andrew's story and will keep you all in my prayers as his treatment goes on. I am glad to hear that caringbridge has been a help in your lives. I was very impressed with Mark's ability to put the story together. It was quite emotional and bittersweet for us, saddened by death of our daughter and overwhelmingly happy that her inspiration has provided the caringbridge service for so many others who need it. We truly believe she hangs out with sona daily as she makes daily, inspiring decisions for caringbridge.
Good luck in your new york trip.
Best wishes
joann

Hi Tom and Angie:

It's been a while since I've written! I am glad to hear that things are going so wonderful for Andrew and he is, for the most part, enjoying normal childhood activities. I can't imagine the toll the trips to NY are taking on all of you and I can't believe that you would only have 4 more to reach the end of 2 yeras - WOW! But I know that you are very glad that you had and took the chance to do that whole thing for him. I'm glad it worked out that you could be a part of that treatment. Just want you to know you are still on my heart and mind even though you don't hear from us too often. We are all doing great and appreciating each day. God bless your whole family:
