Good morning, Maya and Holly. I've missed hearing about both of you. My fault. Hope all is well. I'm getting used to "new" sight and new computer nuances. I'll try to find more but will need to spend time "surfing" or "talking to someone younger"!!!
.My email has changed. Hope to catch up on Maya soon.

Hi, Maya! I hope you are having a good day today. We are both purple-lovers! I also love language. The many ways to say purple are almost as pretty as the color itself--morado, violeta, purpura... Your smile is contagious; I hope you smile today;)

Isaiah 53:7-10: He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Hi Ladies,
Sounds like you're valiantly inching forward, one issue and day at a time.
Praying you continue to have reasons to laugh and rejoice, sing and Celebrate life, amid the myraid of challenges.
Mocha and I FINALLY went out, after weeks of being sick....lvely bright sunshiney day! Some really neat people out and about. Now it's cold, windy, drizzly and temps dropping swfitly, so we might get flurries (unlike your fair state, we shut totally down if it get's the least bit bad, as we simply don't have the machinery (no place to store it for those rare times it could be needed) to contend with it. You'd laugh at what can shut us down tighter than a drum.
Have a crock-pot of soup going and all we need in case it's bad. We'll be snug as a bug in a rug.

Matthew 1:20-23 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Happy Thanksgiving to the two of you! I hope you were able to cherish the day. I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to be introduced to such amazing individuals that enjoy all that life has to offer. Thank you for letting me follow along on your life's journeys.
Jeremy <jsoutherworth@centurytel.net>
Onalaska, WI - Thursday, November 24, 2011 8:27 PM CST
"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." With that being said, I am Thankful to have experienced my past, blessed to experience my present, & giving thanks in advance for my future! Thanksgiving Day brings to mind the blessings in our lives that usually go unnoticed: a home that surrounds us with comfort and protection; delicious food, for pleasure in both eating and sharing; clothes to snuggle up in, books and good entertainment to expand our minds; and freedom to worship our God. Most of all we are thankful for our family and friends, those treasured people who make our lives extra special. You are part of that cherished group. On Thanksgiving, (and every day) we appreciate you. Wishing everyone a Safe, Happy, & Blessed Thanksgiving Holiday!

Good Morning, Holly, Hi Maya!
Hello Waddles & Gloria, Hello-Kitty, fluff pals and Pookie!

Woke up thinking about you this morning, so wanted to slip downstairs to the computer lab before things get busy!

Hope you all manage to have a lovely weekend, nestled in the middle of all the hard stuff!

This morning, here, it's a sweet, cool, refreshing morning.....Mocha and I have already been for a run. Later it'll be grooming her...cutting her fur, giving her a bath, cleaning up the mess, DRYING the bathroom, Lol, then cleaning ME, giggle, and having a nap. Later I hope we'll go over to a friend's house. She's got pay per view, and we're aiming to watch Soul Surfer. Then we'll pop into bed early to recover from a lively, looong day!

Thinking of you and sending oodles of love your way.
Looking forward to your next blog.

Hi Holly and Maya. It's been way too long since I've signed in to see how all are doing. Read journal entries for a very long time tonight. Wish I was closer, Holly. Maya probably wouldn't remember me but I'd never forget that face. She has really grown. I'm retired but working one day a week doing the same thing only in Cass County instead of Berrien County. I'll stay in touch more. My thoughts have always been with you. I had Oak Manor School last year and would drive just about past your old house each week. Give Maya a hug for me. Talk later Maryellen

Hi Holly and Mayafly,

Oooooo Thank you soooo much for sharing your "delight in lil things". It's those lil things that make up the fullness of life. You are indeed people after my own heart.

I got the giggles earlier in the week when I rode Marta (public transportation) BACKWARDS because the other w.chair was too big for me to turn around (buses only have room for 2 chairs, then a zillion people). What fun to see FACES rather than the back of folk's heads, grin. And they had fun looking at Mocha!

Met a gal at StarBucks who reminded me a LOT of Maya in her curiosity. She wanted to know everything about Mocha, and I was thrilled to share.

Glad to hear you've had several lovely, life affirming days.

Looks like the two of you are doing great still! I'm sure the quilt will be the topic of many conversations with Maya hearing all the stories that go along with each square. The weather is finally cooperating by cooling off a bit so I hope that you're able to make it outside more now to enjoy the great "pre-fall" weather!

Psalms 18:2-6 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

Happy Day to both of you!

I had a neat moment the other night, that I wanted to share.

I had a tiny laser-light blinking in my bedroom.....and soon there was a light blinking on my window, then another, then another. These new friends (aka lightning bugs) stayed and visited for almost an hour, before I turned the tiny light off....so they flew away. Guess the thought they had a friend inside the house (still out in the country).

Felt like a lil whisper from God saying: I know where you are, and I am here.

Praying you have similar whispers in your own lives.

Love you dearly,

Good Morning Maya, Hello Holly,
I think I forgot to tell you have much I LOVE the colorful dress you're wearing, grin. And it's a GREAT picture of Waddles, too.

Wow, love your "theme" walks. That's MAJORLY neat. And I think it's really neat how you're writing/drawing your "collection" afterwards. You do the specialist things, grin.

All the dogs here and I have been out "hunting" all the tennis-balls they've lost (it's their most favorite game in the whole world....and with 8 dogs, that's a LOT of balls to play with). They have so many because their owner plays tennis, and that's where she can get lots of "duds" (balls that no longer bounce).

I made up rule while we "hunt": If I'M the one that finds the ball, it goes into the bag. If THEY find it, we play with it for awhile first. It didn't take them long to figure it out....so now we race. I usually only take one young dog, Mocha and the two OLLLLD ones on the "hunt". Otherwise it'd get tooo crazy. So far we've found 22 tennis balls! Do you know what that many sound like in the dryer? YIKES! Giggle.

Glad your Nana & Papa are coming this weekend. Hope you have a delight-filled time.

Love You Bunches!

I thought of you today. I saw a baby wren practically knock itself out, running into a glass door. I picked it up and put it safely in a lil arbor away from all the BIG Golden Retrievers.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands...

Good Morning my Friends!

Happy Saturday to both of you fabulous folks, grin.

You missed our laugh-fest this morning. I'm sure we made quite a sight, giggle. I was quietly sipping coffee....oooing and ahhhing over God's amazing creation.....when Mocha's head came up underneath my coffee mug and, you guessed it: I was wearing the entire mug full. I was completely covered: head, face, arms, lol....and of course it was also all over my dress.

Then Mocha got ALL excited because, well her favorite thing is m-i-l-k and I had creamer in my coffee. So I got a doggie-bath by one thoroughly delighted dog. She "washed" my dress too, but alas, it'll take something stronger than her tongue to get the stains out, Lol. Good thing it was a "doesn't matter, it's for cleaning and grung-days" dress, grin.

I'm wearing my other "grung" dress as I type, sipping on a fresh cup of coffee.....and Mocha's stretched out behind me taking a nap (means I'm having to sit forward on the chair...she's taking her half out of the middle, grin).

Hope you're having a lovely morning
You MATTER!

Awsome pool party!!! Definately a great idea during the crazy hot weather we had for a few days...but then waking up this morning to the 50's made it feel like we went back a couple of months but I'll take it over the extreme heat anyday. Looks like mama wren is making a new home hear you...hope she has some little ones that you're able to take a peak at. Lookes like Waddles is living the high life too lounging in the pool! Hope being home is going well...

Hi Holly, Hey there Mayafly,

Glad labs are within YOUR range and you're slowly able to reclaim this amazing life you've created together! Am amazed and thrilled, as always, with how you all have managed to weather this storm!

One thing you didn't mention was pain. 'Am hoping that's steadily improving and is soon far better than it was before surgery.

Mocha and I were outside playing ball, when the 8 other dogs that live here came up, sopping wet. They'd all been in the lake, and looked like they'd had a gay-ole-time. (It's MAJORLY hot here). Now they are all getting bathed using a small kiddie-pool and a hose. Soon they'll smell like shampoo and cream-rinse and be all fluffy.

Can you guess who got thorouly soaked in their greeting? It was NOT Mocha (she was fast on her feet and moved out of their way). Yup, ME. Now I smell like wet dog, giggle.

Love you two ladies bunches and bunches.
Give Waddles and Gloria my love. Am rooting for Pookie to get back on schedule quickly.
Hope you have a lovely, happy, snafu-free week.
Hugs

Hi Miss Maya,

I was playing outside early this morning. Chasing tiny butterflies. Wagging my tail in delight. I ran VERY fast. I jumped REALLY high. I had LOTS of fun.

Mom said you like butterflies. So we both thought of you. Mama said a prayer. I helped with doggie-kisses.

Mom said you like LOTS of guestbook notes, and asked me if I'd like to come by and leave you one. I said sure thing, if you'll play secretary (sooo Mama's typing for me--my paws are too big for the keys).

Your Fur-friend,

To the mama: As with my mom, it is always totally surprising to me how important the meds are in adrenal failure, it seems unbelievable how many body systems they can affect. I am hoping that is "all" it is. My prayers are with you. I am sorry I am so out of touch right now.

Hi Mayafly, Hello Holly-Mama,

Just wanted to stop by and let you know you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Am out-in-the-country at a friend's who raises, trains Golden-Retrievers.....sooo different from the city. Quieter. Darker at night. LOTS of birds and crickets.

Mocha got to watch other dogs going thru an Agility course (jumping over polls, running thru tunnels, walking on a see-saw, running over A-frames. When one person got in her line of sight, she moved to be able to see around them. I think THAT's what she'd like to do too! Lol.

Hi Mayafly, Hello Holly,

What a wonderful Mommy you are....helping with the card and project while still keeping it "secret".

And what an amazing mind our sweet Maya has, that can create with you and for you at the same time, grin.

The dance-of-love that both of you do.....is amazing to witness. You don't let seeming limitations dictate the fullness of the life you embrace and enjoy.

I love you both.

Happy Mother's Day Holly-Mama. You and your daughter shine ever so brightly, and live abundantly in daunting circumstances.

Namasta.
...and as my young Indian friend explained (because I asked what greeting I could give his grandparents that would convey utmost honor and respect)--and he showed me the bow to go with the words, and the truest translation: The God-of-all in me, sees, recognizes, honors and rejoices in the God-of-all in you.

Good Night. Sweet Dreams

Hi Holly, Hello Mayafly,

Ooooo I LOVE Colors, so I think I'd LOVE that new game!
Your hair is soooo long and shiny! You look lovely m'dear and your bows look like you've got a GREAT collection.

I enjoy Spring cleaning.....often I find something I forgot I had or thought I'd lost....and sometimes I discover things I don't need anymore, things I can share with others.....and when it's all done, the house feels sooo much lighter and airier. Plus, I can FIND things again, giggle. Until life gets too busy to put things in their proper place, Lol.

Glad you're inching steadily toward greater pain-control. Hope you made huge strides soon, without sending anything out-of-kilter.

As always, thanks soo much for your updates. LOVE hearing how you are, even when it's simply "status quo".

Happy Saturday.
WOW: We've FINALLY got a SPLENDID glad-to-be-alive weather-day outside. It's so yummy I'm just loooonging to go for a pic-nic. NO renovations today either (Not even to make up for the snow/ice---cause they've got to let the cement dry). So...no noise either. A day worthy of Celebration!

And here to find out another "Gotcah Day" is soon forthcoming. Now how awesome is that?! Delighted your hearts found eachother! You two compliment eachother....and DEFINITELY make lives around you all the richer for knowing you, grin.

Hope you have a delightful weekend. Too bad you don't live next door....I've got a g'zillion things that fit the bill for your latest craft project. I'm soooo impressed with ALL the creative-juices that are flowing around there.

Hi Mayafly, Hello Holly,

I know I just stopped in a bit ago, but thought you'd like to share a chuckle about what's been happening at my house tonight.

Well, I'd decided not to give Mocha a bath, so was enjoying a nice hot soak of my own.......when: You guessed it: Lil Miss Mocha hopped right in, Lol.

Needless to say, she got her bath after all. Just lathered her up real good, then showered her off, towel dried her, then switched to a shower for myself, Lol.

(yea, then I kinda had to clean up a rather WET bathroom, grin, but it was soooo worth it).

It was actually rather fun. One of life's unexpected best bits (albiet rather wet and bubbly, grin).

Thought you might enjoy a giggle or two over the events of our evening.

Night.
Sweet Dreams!
Love you both!

Hi Waddles,

I hear you went scuba-diving in the washer and then parachooting in the dryer. How AWESOME is that. And you didn't even have to leave home to have these adventures. (Which means you got LOTS of snuggles to chase any fears away, and lots of giggles and laughter to celebrate your amazing triumphant adventures). WaHoo for you. I bet you're feeling all renewed and refreshed from your adventures and are ready to embrace the quieter things that make up daily life.

Dearest Holly,
What do you need this site to be? How can it help nurture your soul as well as Mayafly's?
What you do/don't do with this site, is totally up to you. We love BOTH of you, and we all want whatever you want. We want to support you both, celebrate life, giggle, laugh, and share in the pain, frustrations, sorry, and hooray each victory no matter how tiny.....but I doubt it can be easy, to live such transparent lives....I know you value privacy, and it's not easy to find that balance.....

Whatever you're needing, that's what we support....and as you explore what those changing needs/desires may be, well, we support that journey as well.

We KNOW Mayafly (and you) have a g'zillion health issues (the complexities of which there's no way possible we can fully and completely understand), but we also know none of that defines who you are.

We know those things challenge your ability to go out and explore the world, and love it when you invite us to bring the world to you.....and we know that both of you are all about living, enjoying and celebrating life and catching it at it's best.

We know that you endure your agonies mostly in private...and so we in turn, quietly and ferverantly lift tose unknowns up....

We love, value and cherish both of you, are honored that you share your hearts as you're able.
...and wherever you need to go with this site and your journey together, you've got our support a g'zillion percent.

You Matter, and are loved and you have blessed us beyond your wildest imaginings.
Hugs
