I love Christmas music. One of my favorite carols
is Silent Night, and especially the verse that
invites us to sing with the angels!

'Silent night, holy night,
wondrous star, lend thy light;
With the angels let us sing
Alleluia to our King.
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born!'

Wishing you a blessed Christmas
filled with angelic singing!

I am so sorry to hear about your grandpa. I'll be saying lots of prayers for weight gain and healing. I have so many memories of him and every one of them makes me smile! I remember following your grandparents home at 1am on the freeway after Marisa's transplant and thinking "How cool that they are here to be a part of Marisa's miracle".

As for Marisa and all of the memories you have during the month of May... all I can say is that God is SO good and He has brought her so far. Marisa's life truly is an amazing testimony of God's love and strength.

Thanking HIM for all He has done in Marisa and all He is doing in your grandpa-

My dear Melissa, Frank & Shannon,

You are all in our prayers and we wait in the expectation that all will be well. Some famous Irishman, George Bernard Shaw, explained that we were divided by a common language. I have no idea what having labs drawn means, except what I assume it means! Taking all the necessary readings?

Fionna has bad blood readings one fortnight and then they usually bounce back. We pray that yours, dear Melissa, are nothing more than a slight tinkering with the drugs doses.

Happy, happy 2006

With fond love,

Mark

I am Angus's grandfather in Scotland and his grandmother & I have been going through hell. So I was/am particularly grateful for Frank's brief messages of prayer in Angus's site. Which is why I looked up Marissa's web site and felt so much for her, Frank & Shannon. We are grateful because we remember a time which seems like yesterday when liver transplants were impossible. When I get impatient with the wonderful Doctors & Surgeons across the water, I have to remind myself that this is all relatively new. May pretty, lovely Marissa move from strength to strength and have a happy, happy, Christmas and be able to over look her ear problem. Love from Mark

My name is Viki Wright and I am Kristy Kelly's sister. Kristy is Ashlee Jean Kelly's mom. I have been there through the 4 years of Ashlee's life and witnessed the journey my sister and her family have taken with this disease. But I have never known anybody else going through the same thing, and worse. I met many of you in California last week. My daughter, Kamryn, played with many of your children. I just wanted to say that I am thankful to have met you, and wish that we could have spent more time together, as my sister has told me so mush about all of you and your children. You are all in my prayers, and I hope to meet up w/ you again.

Hi Frank, My Mom said she saw you at Experiencia yesterday and sent me the link about Marisa. What a beautiful little girl. Hope all is well after Wednesday's scare. I read all of the events from the last two+ years and it was like deja vu for me. My son, Dylan, was born with a malformation in his right lung and had the middle and lower lobe removed when he was 7 days old. Going through it was hell, as you know, but I am happy to say that Dylan is almost 11 now. He plays travel hockey and lacrosse without issue and you would never guess his start. Seems like Dylan was sick everyday until he turned magical 3...then poof...everything went away. Hopefully Marisa will be the same! Hi, Hope you and your family have a blessed New Year. I'm
unable to sleep tonight so I decided to get on Elizabeth Ann's website. Diana had your daughters website on there. So I thought I would write to you. I wanted to let you know how important it is to me that The Hericks family was willing to meet with our family. See our daughter was the angel that gave Elizabeth the gift of life on April 30th. 2004. I have written to the other recipents and not had any
response from them. What greater gift can you give someone
than the gift of life. I hope you'll get to meet your daughter's donor someday. It's so reassuring to see that
people give God all of the glory.I know we don't understand he's plan, but someday we will. I hope you contiue to do well Marisa. Love Betsy's mom, Cindy

"There's no once can calm the waves and still the angry sea, There's nobody else that ever brought such peace to me; There's no one can shine the sun like Jesus can for you, There's not anything at all that Jesus cannot do. He can heal the lame and blind and all afflictions of the mind. Can bring the sinners out of sin, and all the prodigals back in; He can show Himself to thee just like he did at Galilee. Can make a life completely whole, and He alone can save a soul."

Hi Shannon, Frank, Camille, Jackson, & Marisa,

I was tickled pink to get your email about her liver transplant. Yesterday, I was driving past Ladywood High School in Livonia and when I read the marquee I couldn't help but think of you and smile. It read, "Never underestimate the power of prayer." It sure is fitting, isn't it.

The nurses I work with are all so excited for you. We are trying to start an organ donor sign-up drive here at our hospital in honor of our little Marisa. They ask about her almost daily. I hope all is going well. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Hello -
Thank you for visting my dads CB websight. It means a lot to have support, and its extra special when it comes from someone who has been there. My dad was lucky enough to get a liver/kidney transplant a few weeks ago and his recovery is going slow but we're hopeful. I also have a daughter. She turned 1 on May 4th, the same day as my dad's tranplant. I admire the courage of your family, especially Marissa. She will get through this. Stay strong and we will certainly add you all to our prayers. We will also follow this for updates, anxious to hear the good news.
God bless you - erik

Hello Shannon and marisa!
I love the new photo on the main page. her skin looks so pretty and pink, she has really nice color, and I love all of the hair. Congratulations on your fundraising success. We're having the same sorts of problems that you are with weight gain. Havalah just started showing interest in regular food int he last couple weeks, but not a lot of interest, and she still doesn't like the baby food that much either. She gets plenty of breast milk and formula though!

My dear Brother Frank and Sister Shannon,

There is not a morning or evening prayer that Marissa's name is not brought before the throne of God. I fell in love with her at Campout and see those big beautiful eyes each time I pray. I'm so happy that today's update was a good one. We will exhaust God in prayer for her continually. He certainly has been with you and your family and will continue to gently hold Marissa as He inclines his ear to all the prayers and leans over to the Father and says, "It's time to heal her". Much love.

Dear Frank & Shannon: We just received word about Marisa yesterday. Mom received your letter and let us all know. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you both and your other children. Marisa does look like a little fighter and I do believe that things can only get better for her and your entire family. I will try to call you soon. Dear Ones....what a trial you have all been through and are still going through...I saw your angel at the campout, such a beautiful little girl with eyes that danced everywhere, she didn't miss much...I think she loved the attention, which is normal....she won the hearts of so many, a very good reason that we all continue to pray for her and your family to have the strength and endurance to see her back to good health and with the love you all have for her, I'm sure that she feels it and that just makes her glow when she sees you all...May God bless your family and we will pray for her, that she may have to go through the least of suffering to be strong and full of life...

We cannot begin to understand what you are going through, as we are not parents yet; however, we do understand that we serve a fair and just God--a God of miracles--a God of mercy and grace. We will continue to pray for His will in Marisa's life. We will also be praying for a continuing peace in your hearts as you go through the day to day stresses of caring not only for Marisa, but Camille and Jackson. May the Lord continue to bless your marriage and your children.
Love, Bro. Justin and Sis. Christina Paxon <souldesire76@aol.com>

Dear Shannon and Frank and Family,I have been following your journey with Marisa along with the prayer requests. My family along with the many others in the church have stopped and prayed the minute we read the request. The Lord is so merciful and loving and he has helped you since day one of your journey. He will see you all through every step of the way. Like the poem about the foot prints, when the burdens get too heavy to carry alone, he picks you up and continues on down the path. The Lord has helped my family many times over the years as well as all of our Spiritual Families. He is awesome. You have such beautiful children and each is a gift from God. Stay strong as you have thus far and keep the faith and the Lord will do the rest. We have been praying for your family every day and love the updates and pictures. Would love to meet you someday. Our Branch (Forest Hills, Fl.) prays for you often too. (Formerly the Palm Harbor,Fl. Branch) God Bless You All, Love and Prayers,Colleena Eutsey

Hey! What a great website. Dane just discovered it, told me about it and I had to write. We pray for little Marisa and her mommy and daddy each night in our nightly prayers. Lily talks about how much she misses her "best friend" Camille. Oh, how she wishes you guys were our neighbors!! Her picture of Camille and her is on her bedside table and never moves it.

We will continue our prayers for Marisa, faithfully.
Bless you all!!

I've been following every email request you have sent out requesting prayers for Marisa.

My heart aches for you, your children, your families and for Marisa. God is so merciful and good and never, ever gives us anything we are unable to handle. He has a plan for Marisa and He will take care of her and provide every need. Keep trusting in Him. Don't ever remove your eyes from Him. God's timing is never off. He will provide.

We will keep you in our prayers.

Bro Frank and Sis Shannon,
We have been following along faithfully through your ordeal with Marisa. We pray for her every night and share her story with co-workers so they may also pray. God is good and will do what He needs to do in His time. We believe this to be true as we have seen his mighty miricles wrought before our very eyes. It may not be what we would like or even in our time frame, but it is for a purpose that is by His grand design. We thank God for the opportunity to pray for Marisa and our family in Christ and know that we in Mid-Georgia will be praying earnestly for Gods will to be done with Marisa.
She is such a beautiful child as are the other two you have. I know even through your trials you have many reasons to rejoice.

May God rchly enhance your existance,
Bro Corey Morris
