Happy birthday, Daryn.

We can't imagine how exciting a birthday must be in Heaven where each ordinary day is more wonderful than anything we have ever experienced.

Again, I'm so saddened by Daryn's passing, even though we know that he is in heaven with the Lord who loves him far more than we can imagine. I wasn't aware that C-diff could do that, either - it makes me pray harder for the kids I know who have it. As a grandma who has had all of my grandkids live with us at some point, I can sympathize with Grandma Kay, too. Our grands are our joy beyond words. May you find comfort in knowing that Daryn is free of pain and the constant fight for life - he now knows real Life. God bless you all with peace, in His time.

Dear Daryn's family,
I am coming from Dylan's web.site, where I learnt of your precious little boy's passing. I cannot dare to imagine how unspeakably hard it must have been to see your precious son go through so much suffering and having then to let him go. My heart is so heavy for your unspeakable loss. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Daryn will be greatly missed.

I know your heart is broken,
from the pain of losing me...
but Mommy, Im so happy,
if only you could see.

There are angels all around me,
with flowers in their hair...
this place is filled with beauty,
Gods love is everywhere.

He spared me from the sorrow,
that your earth has come to know...
so please dont worry, Mommy,
'cause Jesus loves me so.

Heavens light shines brightly,
on my little angel face...
if only you could see me,
your pain would be erased.

Such happiness is waiting,
and one day you will see...
we'll finally meet in heaven,
forever, you and me.

My heart is just totally broken. Since the last I knew, Daryn's issues were "minor" for a transplant child, I had no idea it had gotten so bad. Please, please know that I am praying for you, and while we are grateful that Daryn is free from this life, it hurts so much to be the ones left behind for now. May your heart, now open and bleeding, be healed by our dear Lord, Who is even now cuddling your beautiful boy.

Oh, how relieved I am to get your CB address back (thanks to Angelique and Michel) and to hear such great news about the doc at UofM (Go, Blue!) and Dr Main. I have been sooo worried since the update about Daryn not getting special treatment - but he's getting special attention in God's care, so what is better than that? Praise the Lord that all is headed in the right direction again. God bless you all!

Since you don't post often (which we totally understand) we get most of our news of you from other pages, but please know that I pray for adorable Daryn every day! God bless you as you fight for Daryn - you will win, so hang in there, Theresa! And if you like, I can call you sometime and three-way to Angelique and you can talk all you want (I'll just put the phone down and check occasionally to see if you're done!). I had originally planned to visit as many caringbridge sites as possible, and leave some encouraging words, prior to my daughters passing. Unfortunately her passing came sooner than we had expected, but longer than any of her doctors expected.

Another angel takes flight.

My daughter Pam had a brain tumor and was fighting the fight since November 4th, 2002, after the birth of her daughter (Casey Morgan). My youngest daughter, Karen, set up a caringbridge website for Pam. Karen's friends mother shared a prayer with us, that I would like to share with you and Daryn. It's called DON'T QUIT:
Don't Quit -
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit - Rest if you must, but do not quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a fellow turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man; Often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor's cup. And he learned too late when the night came down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out - The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems afar, So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worst that you mustnt quit.(Just call on Jesus).

I would also like to share a saying that was on the card my wife Diane picked out, and we bought for Pam:

If you were a star
That wasnt expected back
In the universe
For a thousand years,
Id wait.

If you were the sky
And everyone went inside
When you got sad
And started to rain,
Id stay.

And if you were a peach
And the world decided to get rid of all peaches,
Id pick you up,
Put you in my pocket

AND KEEP YOU.

Prayers have scientifically been proven to work.

REMEMBER NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT. You are in our prayers. GOD bless you all.

So sorry to hear that sweet Daryn is having trouble with GvH. We will pray much that it resolves so that he can feel better and be healed of Krabbe forever. God bless you, Daryn, with total healing in Jesus' name. Also, I agree with Grandma K's friend that these things are not the plan of God. God wants His kids to be happy and healthy, and says so all the way through the Bible, Old and New Testaments. satan sets traps for us, and God warns us about them! His plan for Daryn is healing, praise Him! Let's pray that the will of God is done in Daryn's body, which is 100% healing!

Hey guys! Glad to hear you are going home on Monday!! Let us know when you have a round about time we would love to come throw confetti or blow bubbles for you. Theresa you are a wonderful mom. I've told you before and I'll say it again I don't know how you did it by yourself. I know your mom and sisters came down but you were there 24 hours a day and felt guilty if you were there any less. I'm so happy for you guys and can't wait to see you at clinic. We'll have to order pizza at clinic together sometime for old time sake. Hugs and kisses from us to you Daryn!
