Journal

Hello friends and family,

I see that people are still checking this site, so I thought I'd post a note to let everyone know that all is still going well with Matt's recovery.

His leg and ankle are healing well - he can't yet put any weight on them, but he's doing physical therapy twice a week to strengthen his muscles. Hopefully by the end of this month, the doctor will allow him to start putting weight through his leg.

Matt will start outpatient speech and occupational therapy next week in Bangor. His head injury is continuing to heal, and he's making progress every day. We no longer need to keep him in a low-stimulated environment, and his neuro doctor is now encouraging stimulation and visits with friends, so please feel free to give him a call (you'll need to call the house - 537-3141 - until we get his cell phone replaced, which should be soon!) or stop by the house to see him.

Thank you everyone for your continued love and support.
