Hi Justin,
I know this has been one long and hard road for you but remember God IS going to heal you. Our prayers do not go unheard and we just need to praise God for your healing every day and remember NOT to focus on the negative reports but focus on being totally YOU again.
We miss seeing you and your family like we did at Mem's camper this summer. We really need to get together more. I know Kirk enjoys teasing you a lot.
We will continue to praise God for your healing so be expecting it soon.
Oh yeah, how is your little doggie doing? I bet you are spoiling him.
Love and prayers,
Kirk, Pauline, Teann, and Tyler
and we can't forget BJ

Good morning to you all. I hope you are all doing well and had a good weekend. Justin I hope that you are feeling well and we are sending lots of love and hugs to you. Stay warm it's so cold here today. We took the boys sliding and conner wasn't able to stay out very long. His grandfather would sneak up on him and I and give us a big push and we would tip over and conner was covered from head to toe with snow. He was so mad at his grampy. Logan didn't mind at all. Logan and his grandfather are two peas in a pod! Anyways, we took a couple of trips down the hill for you. Sending prayers that you all will be home very soon. Prayers to Mike and Lexie.

hi justin-
i got to see corey today as he prepares for his transplant. we have all been hoping that you would be home before he arrived, but it looks like you might be there together, even if briefly.
we check your web site every day to see how much closer we are to having you back on the floor at grant 8. the winter has been crazy and there are a lot of virus so we will have to be extra careful when you get here. the eighth floor has been full most days.
i talked to Dana today and she said to say hello in that great big way she has of making stuff fun and alright.
lexie was inclinic yesterday bouncing all over the place. today she was playful in pink.
corey said you were off going for a walk. keep moving; it is one of the secrets to getting home.
we miss you tons.

Hi Justin, sorry to hear you're still having fevers and a rash. I keep you in my prayers all the time. I hope things will go well for you so you can come home to Maine really soon. Here's another joke- Why did the elephant paint his toenails red? So he can hide in the cherry tree. Ha Ha. Of course, it's not my own joke. I have to steal them so I can't take credit for it! (It's a little lame so maybe I don't want to take credit for it anyway.) So stay cool and I'm really pulling for you to get out of there soon. Susan

I was glad to hear there's another little guy from Maine there for you to play with. Good luck in your wheelchair races! I heard another really corny joke. Why did Tigger stink? I'll bet Kathi Oyster will be really wracking her brain to top that one though! Anyway, it sounds like things are getting better everyday. I hope your belly tolerates your meals. Hi all, I don't see a new update and am really hoping no news is good news. I continue to keep you in my prayers. I'll bet you guys got hammered down there with the recent storm. We had only three inches here in the Bangor area, mostly drifting and blowing around. Sure is cold though. Hope you're staying warm. Hey Justin, here's a joke I heard yesterday. I'm terrible at remembering them so thank goodness it was just yesterday that I heard it. Why was the tomato red? Because it saw the salad dressing! Ha Ha! Hey buddy, how ya doing??? We got snow here today, and it has been cold and windy. I have been in and out with Coco, had to sweep off the steps and she tries to grab the broom, so I guess she thinks she is helping me. Oh, well, gotta love that dog. She loves to throw her ball in the snow and then put her nose under the snow and push it back up. She is funny, she makes me laugh and I sure need the laughter in my life. Hope you are doing better and your belly is not hurting and you are pooping on your own. I continue to pray you for and the more I pray the more I grow to love you, you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers, how blessed I am to have you in my life. I look forward to your recovery and getting back home. I am sure that will be a big day of celebration, better then Christmas and birthdays and fourth of July all rolled into one big welcome. I love you, Aunt ej

Hi All! I'm sorry to hear about this virus you have Justin and I know you are going through an awful lot right now but the first thing that always comes to my mind when I think of you or tell people about you is that you are such a strong boy and have kept on going through everything. I know you will get through this too! Cristi and Jarrod, my heart goes out to the both of you! You two have amazed me so much with your stamina and determination!! The Lord may be the true keeper of Justin, as he is of all of us, but he certainly chose very wisely and well when he picked the two of you to be his parents! Devin, I'm so proud of what a great big brother you continue to be to Justin! I know it must get pretty hectic traveling from home to Boston so much but I want you to know how impressed I am with you that you not only do all that traveling but that you also are going to school. Hats off to you! To ALL of you!! As always, you are in my constant prayers and thoughts. Love you all!

Well, well, well, are you trying to catch up to me with the pic lines???? I have had five pic lines in my arms??? We are going to have to compare battle scars when you get home. Like a show and tell????? We can't say you are full of poop because now they are running a tube through ya. You are sure trying it all. Hope the tube makes you feel better and you don't throw up anymore. Other then that, sounds like you are making progress, boy, you sure have been through a lot, what a little trooper you are. Grammie Harvey is feeling better, she is all done with the flu, passed off onto somebody else I am sure. Good that you are not being exposed to any of the nasty stuff going around, you sure don't need any added misery. I took Coco outside to play today in the snow, she just loves to run around and play. She chased me the whole time I was on the tractor blowing snow, it throws the snow up in the air and she tries to catch it. What a crazy dog she is. She is sitting right here beside me and she sure does keep me company. When you get better you can come and throw the ball and frisbee for her. She will play and catch the ball until my arm falls off, I swear. Everytime someone comes to the house she runs and gets her ball and I have to show them how she catches the ball. She is funny. Well, I am going to go shower and get ready for bed. This has been a good week for me. Hope I can get another one. It sure would be nice. You hang in there and know that I am praying for you, every night when I go to bed, first thing in the morning when I wake up, and during the night if I wake up, my first thoughts are of you. I love you, Aunt ej

Hi guys, just a quick update, grammie Betty has been sick with a cold, feeling better now. Santa brought it to her for Christmas I guess, she better be a good girl next year is what I say!! HEE HEE!!! Sounds like things are getting better slowly, and one step at a time. I know it must seem like a long time to you, but look at all that has been accomplished in the past couple of months. I am praying that strength and good health is coming your way each day. I have been with a family that lost their 21 year old daughter in a car accident the day after Christmas. They donated her organs and many of her bones, what a gift to pass on her life so that others may live. The memorial service was today. You have been in my heart and in my prayers and your strength and courage have helped me to grow in my personal walk with Christ. May I offer back to you what you inspire so in me. I love you Justin, take it easy little buddy and know that I am praying, praying, praying for you to get better and come home soon.

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. I hope and pray you will be able to come home to Maine soon. Tell mom and dad I said hello. We're almost into the new year so I'll say, "see you next year!" Come home soon. Take care. Love, Susan

hi justin
glad santa found you in boston, even tho we had plans to have you back here by now. i was out in the wee hours of christmas day cause i made corey come in for an admission in the middle of the night. what a grinch i am huh? i think he wanted to be in solidarity with his clinic buddy and spend santa's day stuck in a hospital room.
corey is doing ok, and like your folks i thought his mom was going to break him out of his room like a jail break. but luckily i could convince them to stay until his fever goes away and it is all cool to go home.
i hope this new medicine helps turn things around for you. keep active and know we are waiting impatiently for you to come home. tell your mom and dad our hearts go out to them and we wish we could help make this part of the trip less frustrating.
love drj

Hello Everyone!
I wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas! I know it's so hard to be away from home but with time and patience you will be. Justin, if you happen to see Santa, please let him know I have a very lengthy list and I can't wait for him to stop by my house.
I'm sure after he stops by to see you there won't be much left in his sack but that's o.k.! I think about you everyday and I hope to see you soon! Send your family my love!
Love you!

Hey there little buddy, how are you doing????? Testing and waiting, testing and waiting.....and some kids think school is tough!!!! Hopefully, you will have all the answers in the next few days and then you can breathe a little easier, the not knowing what is going on and the worrying about what it could be is tough to take even on an hour by hour basis. Know that I am praying for you diligently. Try to get some rest and get through these tough days. You are on the right track to get better......keep thinking those positive thoughts. Greetings little man, how goes the battle???? I think the snow is really holding off until you get home and then we are going to get the big one. All we get are little sprinkles now and then, nothing really great. My dog, Coco, really doesn't quite know what to do about the crunchy stuff, she is funny to watch when she goes out to pee. She sort of tiptoes around then she really gets going and skids to a stop on the way back in. I got her a huge bone at Hannaford yesterday and she has been dragging that through the house. Hope you are feeling better and not worse.....you have had enough of worse.....time for better all the way. I bet you are ready for better to, so am sending those wishes your way. Hi Cristi and Justin, I hear Jarrod is home with Devin for his Christmas Concert. I'm sorry you had such a lousy day Sunday, it is so unfair and I wish I could take some of the burden from you.I will continue to pray extra hard. Here is something a really sweet person gave to me once."What Is Inner Strenghth" We may not know we have it till we're well into the race, Or feel we're nearly overwhelmed by the challenges we face, But then we look much deeper for the power to succeed, And find we have inner strength that meets our greatest need. Wishing you inner strength to see a brighter day and the wisdom that will guide you every step along the way. And in time, when you look back from new horizons, may you find you've been blessed with greater courage and a deeper peace of mind! Lots of Love and Prayers, Libbi

Hey Buddy, sorry you have the nasties...not much fun, just think of all the stories you get to tell....wow...you have enough to keep you going for awhile....You asked to pray for a miracle and that is what I am going to do. I already think of you as a miracle, your strength and your faith, and the way you handle all that is coming your way, but enough is enough and that is what we are going to pray for to get you better and get you out of there and back here. HERE is a great big HUG for all of you. Hang in there little man, we are all holding you close in our hearts.

Hi Justin, Happy birthday! I'm sorry you have to be there on your birthday. I hear you aren't having the best of days today. I hope and pray you feel a whole lot better very soon. Get some rest. I'll keep praying for your speedy recovery. I miss you and look so forward to seeing you up here soon! Take care.

Mom and dad, you two hang in there. I completely understand how seeing so many different doctors everyday and getting different answers can be very frustrating. Those big teaching hospitals just aren't like what we have here. It's true, there really is no place like home. (even if home means EMMC!) I'll keep you both in my prayers that you will keep your courage up. Love, Susan

You are a special little man and hopefully it won't be long until we see those counts coming up. Say hi to your mom and dad for me. I am sure they can probably use a hug right now. Lots of love

Hi Justin,
Mimi in Florida is so happy to hear you are doing better. Still having ups and downs, but beating the odds. Mimi wishes she could be there to spend Thanksgiving with all of you. The holidays just aren't the same without lots of family around. I sure hope you keep getting better, so you can be home for Christmas. Wouldn't that be nice? The hospital is no place for anyone on Christmas Day. No snow in Florida. It's perfect down here. This time of year is why I stay. I hope I never have to shovel snow again. I do miss making snowmen and snow angels, though. Maybe you can make one for me. Well, Darling Mimi has to take a shower. I just got home from work and I'm all greasy. I'll write to you again real soon. Looks like you get lots of e-mail. Must be fun reading it all. Looks like you have alot of friends and people who care about you. You're a lucky little boy. I love and miss you very much. You're in my prayers and I'll be thinking about you on Thanksgiving Day. I'm so sorry you have to spend it in the hospital. Keep doing what the doctor's and nurses tell you to do, so you can be home for Christmas. Keep your chin up and keep singing those country songs.

All My Love
Florida Mimi

We have prayers for you every Sunday in Church, I think everybody there knows about you. I pray for you and your mom and dad and Devon, every day. I know that prayer helps a lot. It did for me, even when I was so sick and couldn't talk, I would think of prayers and songs in my head and in my heart. So just close your eyes when you don't feel like talking and you will hear my prayers and songs for you in your head. We love you, take care and hey, Aunt Mary Ellen said for me to say "hi" to your from her. Nice picture of you on your website, big fish and all. Ha Ha!!!!!!!!! Catch ya later, Aunt Ej

Hey buddy. I am so happy that things are going well. I am sure that you are thrilled to have Devin out there. You are so fortunate to have such a great big brother. Then again, you are an excellent little brother. It was cold up here today. Griffin is watching the movie Garfield, have you seen it? It's a funny one. I am praying that you will be home soon and that things go smoothly. I am sure that you will be excited when you actually get to have a salad! I can't believe that you like all of those vegetables. I wish that I did. I need to get going because Griffin wants to go to bed. He has a pretty bad ear infection so he's being a whiny butt. I'll have Riley write to you on Tuesday when he gets here. Hi Peters! Looks like you have a big fan club, Justin! No snow back here in the Lincoln/Winn area. Hillary has been hunting a little bit with me and her father. She started to play basketball last week. I saw alot of your friends at Allen Brown's benefit supper tonight. Nathanial Thurlow was there with his brother and sisters. Allen is there grampy. Do you know Allen? He worked as a selectperson for the town of Winn with your grandmother. I think you know him. We had a turkey dinner. Lots of people came. They had a raffle afterwards. Hillary and Elizabeth and Jacob had some raffle tickets and tried to win prizes. Hillary won a chocolate creme pie. I don't think she will share! Jacob won lots of things. One of the things he won was a case of orange mountain dew. Nathanial and Josiah wanted it so Jacob brought it home and wrapped it up as a gift. He will give it to them at church tomorrow. Boys are weird, aren't they? I hope you have nice nurses, Justin. It's great when you have good ones at night who can catch the beeping machine before it wakes you up. We loved the night nurse, anne marie. I wonder if she is still there? If so, tell her hello from Elizabeth and all of us. We think of you lots. Tell mom and dad I will e-mail them soon. Love and prayers, Holly

Dear Justin, Jarrod, Devin, Cristi,
I finally figured out how to access this webpage. I kept using upper case letters. It helps when you read and follow directions. I am so glad that the transplant went well. I'm sure it felt like this day would never come. Watching the stem cells go into Justins little body must of been a very miraculous hour or two. God Bless the person who donated them. I hope one day we know who that person is. Justin, you hang in there and continue to be brave and strong. Take your yucky medicines, so you will stay healthy and can go home. I wish I could be there like I was a few months ago. I would cook you, Mommy, Daddy and Devin that stinky cabbage casserole and come listen to you sing those country songs. I have faith that you will all be on your way home very soon. I love and miss you all very much. You too, Devin. I know you're there this weekend. I'm sure Justin is very happy to see you. I'm sure Mom and Dad are happy too. You're a brave little boy, too. Staying in Maine while everyone else is in Boston. Well, got to crack the books. I'll touch base with you all later. I love and miss you all very much!!

Justin you have hair in the pictures on your web page. Do you still have the haircut mom gave you. You were pretty bald when I saw you at PVH having some blood drawn.
