Friday, November 20, 2009 1:01 PM CST Hello to all. I just thought as I have a minute I would update whoever still checks our caringbridge page here. You can always reach me at my home email address on this page. Devan recently had an outpatient surgery done, and is doing well. Nothing serious just had a cyst taken off. It was tramatic for him though. Devan started guitar lessons, I hope he sticks with it. Gabriel has been experiencing being really tired, pale, and looking skinny to me and his teachers. It is a constant struggle to get him to eat. Especially the good stuff. In light of how he has been feeling, I am committed to getting fruits, veggies, and healthy stuff into him if it kills me. We stopped the tea, and caffine which he was drinkiing like crazy. We went this week and had blood work drawn, and a urine test done, havent heard the results as of yet. He also complained of his arm hurting quite a bit, so we had it xrayed. I worry about him so much, but I must do what I can do and leave the rest up to God. Both the boys are looking forward to the holidays. Some of them can be difficult because I am always thinking of Bradley and what he would be doing, liking, thinking, etc. I mean what would he look like now, as a teen?? Gorgeous!!! It hurts. It carrys over to everyone, as I am sure Carlton, my inlaws, my parents, cousins go through the same thing. We miss him so. I just got a great quote today in my email, I have heard it before but it bears repeating..
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away"....
Love it, and its so true. My Bradley took my breath away from the minute he came into this world until the day he left this world, and I cannot wait to see him again!! Same with my other two, I see them as a blessing each and everyday and enjoy them so much.
Well I hope everyone remembers to be THANKFUL next thursday because God has blessed us all so much, especially with his son Jesus!! Keep on keeping on....and drop a line if you have time.
Blessings-Christie and Family
