Thanks for the cool Tweety bird in the guestbook, Katey loves it :> We are glad to hear your MRI was negative, hopefully your fractured vertebrae isn't bugging you too much, how did that happen?
We go to the Dells a couple times/year since its only a little over an hour away and our kids are all water babies! Which one were you at? We traded states since we were in Chicago for a few days during Spring Break last week. It was great visiting the museums and "Big John" with our CityPass but the traffic was something else!
Have you ever heard of One Step At a Time Camp for cancer kids in WI, IL, and Indiana? You can find out about it on www.onestepcamp.org. They have theirs starting July 8.

Hello, i was watching a couple of new records being set at the Olympics today, so thought i would look up some slightly stranger ones instead of some jokes.

Here's a couple;

Most spoons balanced on the face
Tim Johnston (USA) (b. 1 January 1992), was able to balance on his face (one on each ear, two on each cheek, three on his chin, two on his lips, one on his nose and three on his forehead) and balance them for 30 seconds at on May 28, 2004.

I'm sorry to hear your allergies have been acting up. I have allergies as well and they've been giving me a run for my money these last couple of days. I picked up some new medicine this afternoon while I was out, so I'm hoping it'll give me at least a little relief. I hope the medicine your doctor put you on helps you out and doesn't make you suffer at all.



Believe me, I can completely relate to you on the lack of sleep thing. I'm right there beside you and I know how much it stinks. In fact, I'm on my way to go lay down now since Samantha (thank goodness) is fast asleep. I hope you get the rest you need before too long.

Hope your pain goes away soon. Elliott continues to have leg pain off and on as well...Dr Salvi tells us it is the medicine, usually the vincristine, that causes it so we try to go with the flow. I'm glad to hear you'll be getting those bumps on your ear{s} checked out. They don't hurt at all, do they? Are they itchy? I'm sure they're VERY annoying! I'll be hoping and praying they're nothing more than bumps; NO LCH!!!

Just how much snow have you guys gotten? It sounds like a lot! I wish we lived where you do; I'd love to have so much snow as long as I didn't have to go out in it. I love sitting in the house and watching all that pretty snow fall, but I do NOT like to go out in it. I'm sure you could build a whole village of snowmen with all of the snow you've gotten by now. Hey, there's a project for you! hehehe

Did you end up getting even more snow today? Some bad, snowy weather is supposed to be making its way here tonight/tomorrow morning. It's supposed to be a mess and they're saying we should be getting somewhere around 3 to 6 inches if not more. Thanks for sending some of the snow our way!!!

My daughter Pam has a brain tumor and has been fighting the fight since November 4th, 2002, after the birth of her daughter (Casey Morgan). My youngest daughter, Karen, set up a caringbridge website for Pam. Karen's friends mother shared a prayer with us, that I would like to share with you and Lucas. It's called DON'T QUIT:
Don't Quit -

Hi, just checking on you, but no news is good news - I hope. We are getting spring fever, yesterday it was 70 and today it was colder, but that one day gave us a nice taste and we are ready for some play outside. My son has leukemia, his name is Ronnie but we call him Gooch.
He is due to be done with all his chemo late this year.

I see you are getting messages from your "adopter", I'm glad and wish we could get a dozen people to sign each kids' guestbook all the time!

My husband is a cop too but he doesnt have a dog. And the one we have at home is a dopey one!
She drinks out of the toilet and eats plastic stuff -plastic bags, toys - you name it she eats it.
She even ate Gooch's new pretend razor he just got for Christmas - he likes to pretend shave with dad.
I havent told him yet and am trying to get a new one before he finds out! Dont tell him on me!!

I'm one of Nicole's friends from grammar school...(what a cool girl!!) but anyways..Lucas is such a cute kid and im very sorry that he is sick but he can get through all this..his family loves him very much and supports him with everything they have..I'll come over and visit sometimes like i always used to!

I no Tracy from HS and found her through classmates. Even though we are not close I still see her on line sometimes and I always ask about Lucas. I also have a child around Lucas's age and it hurts to know that a child has to go through such a devestating process. This is Chris (the neighbor next door), when I first heard Lucas was sick, I was shocked. To me he was always so energetic, cheerful and crazy!! Lucas is my niece Gianna's best friend, I know she comes over to my house just to play with Lucas not to visit with me but that's okay.
