Hi!! I found a link to your daughter's grave at Find A Grave and then found the link to your website. I am so sorry for your loss, it must have been such a difficult time. I wanted to let you know that in the town where I live, there is a little boy named Devin who has the same type of cancer your daughter had. They are also trying to raise money for more research.

Came to your site by accident but maybe it was NOT an accident at all...........My condolences for the loss of your beloved child and I too must admit that she did indeed win the final battle. Cancer is a cruel disease and after being in health care since 1988, I have witnessed how it tears apart at the fiber og one's health and longevity. If there is a lesson to be learned it is that when we cry or mourn it is not for our departed but instead for our own loss. Those who pass on do indeed see paradise and if not are placed in a holding room until it is their time to be with their loved ones....I know this because I have died and returned with the gift to tell others my tale. I'm far from special but I do have a link to the other side....God Bless us all because we can only imagine what lies ahead for us in heaven.

Hi Carros. Just wanted to let you know that Allison is in an oral communications class. They had to do a presentation on someone who changed their life forever. Allison and a boy named Alex who used to play soccer at Norwood Park both did it on Ashley. Neither one knew the other knew her. They both said that she changed their lives by showing courage, kindness and by always being happy. Even with all she went through, they both felt she was the happiest person they ever knew. What a wonderful legacy! How weird is it that Allison got put in class with Alex and that they both did their reports on Ashley? Both of them filled with emotion.

im so glad that my mommy made this webpage its nice to remember all the nice memories i had with my family. i still to this day remember my sister passing and yes or course giving the change to the homeless man and walking all over downtown seeing the windows (with christmas sceans in them) and santa, but seems santa has been a faded memory on andrea and I latey.
i also remember going on all the fun trips my mom and dad took us on. it really was a lot of fun. i miss being a kid now because andrea and i are almost 14teen in 2 months. we also get stacked with homework its hard now in days because of our sisters anvirsey coming up. well i also just wanted to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. I am a mother of a child with leukemia and after reading that someone left a message such as nasty as that one, it breaks my heart. For we see what our children go through physically and emotionally just to have a few more days, hours or weeks with us. Yes, your daughter won the battle, she is now a beautiful angel and we as christians must always keep our faith in the lord for one day we will be all together and you will be with your beautiful daughter again. I am so sorry that someone felt that your daughter did not win the battle. I truly believe that your daughter did win the battle for she is now healthy, happy and with Jesus and watching over you and your family. Keep your faith strong. I was looking at your site and my 3 year old son pointed at her photo and said "who is that?" I said "a very pretty girl" and he shook his head yes and said "pretty girl yes" so you now know your beautiful daughter touched us here too. With lots of hugs to you and your family. So very sorry for your loss, but you are right she WON and is now the happiest little girl surrounded by love, beauty, and Jesus.
