I just wanted you to know that many people are praying for you and your family. Enjoy each day that you have on this earth. We have the power to be positive or negative. I choose to be positive. You never know who you may come in contact with. I know how precious life is. I had a son pass away at the age of 5. I had another son and daughter after that and now I have a granddaughter. Hi there Rose and Nick...
I found you though Codi-Bug's website. I wanted to introduce myself and tell you about my little guy, Mitchell. Mitch was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in August 2002 (close to when you were diagnosed, Nick). Mitchell was four years old at the time. He's tumor was in his left femur. He had surgery in November to remove the tumor and a rotationplasty was preformed (same as Codi). Mitchell is doing great with his prothesis. Mitch has four more rounds of chemotherapy to go until he is finished with his protocol. I would love to hear from you and be able to share our experiences. I will definitely say a prayer for you tonight and hope you are doing well.

Hi Nick, You don't know me, but I know of you. I am a friend of your mom's and have been following your progress since you first started going to Children's Hospital. I was ill once like you a very long time ago so I know how you feel. It's not fun going in and out of the hospital all the time. I hated it and besides they hurt me. When I would cry my Dad would say to me..."sis, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going". I guess I am tough because that was 20 years ago. You are so lucky have all the love and support from your family and friends...just hang in there, stay tough, everything is going to get better. I know 20 years from now, you will be writing a letter of encouragement to some kid telling them it's going to be okay too. Thanks for sharing your guestbook with everyone and tell your Mom to keep us posted. Take care and I will keep you in my prayers...Your friend...
