Dear Jennifer. I would like to let you know that I am my father's son, and he told me about you. I have added you to my prayer list, and will continue to pray, and tell others to pray for you. I read some of the comments that other people sent on your page, and I really think its great that you have lots of people praying and thinking of you. Could you also pray for me? I have visually imparments, and am almost blind, but do not let that get me down. Last week I had one of many surgeries. It has gone well so far, and I have recovered quickly. I graduate from highschool next year, and have a few health problems, but do not let that get me down. I try to keep my faith in Jesus christ becuase he's the one who loves me. He died for us. So sorry to hear the bad news. I hope Jennifer is doing better and I will pray hard for her and ask my friends to pray with me for her. It is hard to think of how much suffering Jennifer has been through in the years. Often I try to think of the happy loving ways of Jennifer, as it is hard for me to focus on the bad...it's very painful for me emotionally as her aunt. Jennifer, I love you and smack, now that smack was just a big kiss, don't worry, I wasn't hitting you! Yes... I still have my strange sense of humor. Cheryl, I know you have alot on your plate, but please call when you find the time, and please forgive me for my faults. I do need to get on the ball. The last two years were very hard on me losing my dad and I am just starting to get back on track and back to me.

I came here via Jeffery's site. I have seen your mother's wonderful entries there and elsewhere, but for some reason I did not notice that she had a daughter with a website previously. I love your poem, on your home page. You are full of the courage of Christ, which is a good thing.

We live in Clifton Park, in southern Saratoga County, NY. We are located about half way between the capital, Albany, and Saratoga Springs. We are also slightly northeast of Schenectady. Last night, we had about twelve inches of snow.

Four years ago I had cancer, the options available to me for a cure were not great. I tossed and turned for 3 days before I finally gave and turned my condition to God. After that a feeling of complete love came over me and calmed my heart. Now four years later I continue to feel God's complete love. May God bless you and your family

Hi, my name is Michele I live outside a very small town in Louisiana called Ringgold. I also live by a lake and yes, since I live in Louisiana there are alligators in the lake. Alligators move around the most in the Spring and the rest of the time they are mostly in the water or close to the water. There are also bobcats and racoons and lots of deer and coyote out here too. I really enjoyed your website. I attend Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Ringgold. There are not very many members as our town is small. Our priests takes care of 4 churches total. Hey Jennifer, Happy Thanksgiving. Are you cooking any dishes from the books I sent you? Remember everyday to pray for our soldiers abroad and give thanks to God for the blessings we have, such as love of family, friends who care, time alone and time to share. I will share with you a family tradition in my home. On Thanksgiving Day, anyone and everyone, family or friend who sits at my table must, without exception express aloud one thing they are thankful for. It goes like this, the friends and family are around the table. We all join hands and bow heads. Starting at the head of the table each person expresses something they want to give thanks to God for. Ex: I am thankful for my happy and healthy Grandchildren oh Lord. Then to the next person. It continues until each person has given thanks for something or someone in their lives. Then the prayer of thanks is given and then we eat and eat and eat. Just thought I'd share what our family does together at Thanksgiving. Do you do anything special that has become a tradition. We share a few things in common: faith in Jesus, determination in not allowing obstacles get in the way and giving hope to others.

As for myself, I have an incurable and often fatal condition called Mitochondrial Disease-which can affect the entire body. In my case, various areas are affected: vision, memory loss, strokelike episodes, and coordination...well you get the picture.

I have found that the more obstacles thrown in my path, the stronger I become both mentally and spiritually. God has a definite plan for your life and I know you are a living testimony to every one who crosses your path.

Hello, you stopped by my website www.getting-wicked.com and e-mailed me your site. I was very touched and sadden with all of the complications your daughter has. My day as a mother of a child with SOD and ONH is difficult on a daily basis because of all the medical and physical complications. My daughter Zoe who is 5 1/2 years old suffers so much. It's good to know that there are parents out there that love their children so much they make it their life to make sure their children are getting the very best they can. Hi my sweet petunia, Since you were all unable to be at the party I will tell you all about it, invitations were sent to 50 people, family and friends.It was advertised in the local paper with my picture, 20 more guests showed up from the notice in the paper. It was finger food, sandwichs, fruit trays, veg. trays, ice tea, punch etc, we had lots of food.Our Pastor was there and said a prayer. Hey Jennifer, where for art thou Jennifer. Not to be confused with Rapunsel. Ha Ha. Talked to Mom about Corey and got the same answer you did NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Man is she tough. Well just remember she loves you and has your best interest at heart. Also, caring for someone elses child so far from home is a big responsibility and as an old lady with a lot of experience, I know where she's coming from. Trust her, she knows what she's doing, even if it hurts you you'll get over it and you'll be fine. Can't wait to see all of you. Bring your bathing suit and an appetite. Guess I'll have to make Dad some eggplant to take back with him. Mom told me you took 3rd place in the competition. That's great. It's not first place but it's not last. You do the best you can in life. However, we don't always land on the top. As long as you did your best, gave it your all, and walked away confident that you did a good job you are top of the crop in my book. I'm proud of you for just doing it. Hey look at it this way, you were on stage, Corey was on television. You are both celebreties and do you have any girlfriends that can say that? Probably not...... Your terrific and don't you forget it. We are getting new carpet Saturday, and I am trying to pick out new living room furniture. After that, the drapes. Then it will be spring and summer and I am out of the house in the garden and in the pool. But for right now I am going to get in the bed. Tomorrow morning I have to go have my eyes examined. That way when you get here I'll be able to see clearly what a beautiful young lady you've become. Love you and God Bless

Grandma Gloria emailed me your recent letter. I am very sorry you are not feeling good and missing school. I am also very sorry that we have never written or called you. It is not that we don't love you or have forgotten about you I quess its just a bit of laziness on our part. You are often in our thoughts. We still have fond memories of you as a baby before you moved to Florida. You were beautiful then as you still are now, a young woman. We will keep in tough from now on and hope you feel better soon. We live in Orangeville and had about 4" of snow Tuesday night, it is very pretty. I don't believe Grandma and Grandpa have any snow yet.

Hi, I have started a new program called Support Buddies! It is a program where people who have severe illnesses or have lost family members due to severe illnesses can get a buddy who will write them letters, and send them pictures! Hello guys and gals, I sure will pray that the enfections go away, asap! Man, that's been going on for awhile. Did you check into the Protocel yet?? It can help her immune system to get stronger, so she can fight off some of the illness' she's getting. It can also, get rid of the tumors, Cheryl, please check into it. How's Bonnie? I hope ya'll are having a great summer, even w/ the infections! Is the pool up? Ours isn't yet, we got to get a fence first. I'll call when I can. No more free cell time........ Hello, My name is Dana, I am a friend of Julie Sample. I will pray for Jennifer as well as her family. As far as the tubes being put in her ears; that will give her a lot of relief. My daughter had them put in at age 3 because she was always sick with ear infections and sinus problems. Since she had the tubes put in, which was 4 years ago, she has been fine. Just a few sinus infections but here in Texas that is to be expected... lol
