I was sick the first night of the kayaking trip in Colorado, so I never heard about your son's journey. I am really sorry to hear about all that he had to endure while here on earth. I am so glad that I met you and was able to spend time with you. You are great people! I am sure Sean is smiling down on you right now - from his Kayak!!!!

Hi Flanagans,
Just thought I would stop in and say hi. I was listening to KYGO at work last week and just missed you guys on the radio. Okay though...I am sure I would have just sat and cried. I did hear Savannah though...she is a beautiful child inside and out. I remember the only time Gage talked on it was the year we found out he relapsed...he just wanted miracles for all the kids at children's. He was such a sweetie. Congratulations on the move and the new house...I hope everything turns out well and you love it. Hopefully your house sells soon. Congrats also to Kelsey, I am sure Sean is so proud of her. She will be an awesome nurse. Hope we are able to see you all again. Angel mom hugs,
Heather

Hi you guys~

It's been nearly three months since I have visited here and once again, I can not tell you how it made me feel to see that you are still keeping up with Sean's page.
A lot has happened, not only did we lose our dear friend Carter, but we lost a young neighbor man, 43 years old and only 10 days after we lost Carter. Apparently he had taken some cholesterol meds that destroyed his liver. This man made me think of Sean, not because of the disease but because of the things my friend Mark was involved in. This young man was a member of Kayak Pittsburgh and he rode the rapids in Colorado. He was cremated and his wishes were to be cast over 3 specific rivers that he had kayaked.
I don't follow too many of the children I started out with when Carter was diagnosed. I hate to say that so many of them have earned their angel wings. Many of the families do not keep up their websites. I can not say what I would do in that situation. I am, however, very happy to read about the Flanagans and their life. I can't say why but I am always drawn back to you guys.

Knowing Carter and my neighbor Mark the way I did, I am SURE that Sean has joined them in the greatest kayak rides ever!!

God Bless

CONGRATS KELSEY!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO! WTG ON THAT AWESOME GRADUATION!!!!! You all must be incredibly proud of your daughter! OMG.....She is graduating!!!!!!! It is not that long away for me! Amazing, incredibly amazing how these kids turn out!

Of course, my main reason to start coming here was for Sean. I see his pictures, a man and family I never knew. I feel that he must be watching over all who prayed for him. I have fallen in love with this family. I didn't plan it, it just happened. I LOVE that this web page is updated so often. I love reading about you all. Thank you for being here. Even if it is ......just for me <3

Much love, lots of prayers and more hugs than you can imagine coming from the eastern part of the US...

Hi Flanagans....Kelsey so sorry to hear about your tonsils and all the problems...hope you are healed up and doing well. I followed and new about the sentencing...congrats on that at least but something I though I should share because it was just kind of neat...Justin was reading our local little newspaper The Alliance Times Herald and in associated press there was a story about a doctor convicted. Well it was about Sean's case. He called and said aren't they the family we met in Denver and I said yes. So...moral of the story...that no good doc made national news apparently and hopefully he never, ever gets to practice another day in his life, Good job. I will keep the article for you. I hope this helps another part of the grieving process yet I know it probably hurts in a way also. I got a note from Children's about a scrapbook memory album deal they are doing. Laura are you or Kelsey going? I am thinking about it so let me know if you decide to go. Hope things are going better around there and you all are feeling well. They finally got Gage's monument done and there are pics on his page. Hugs all around!

I was so sorry to hear your testimony in church and remember Sean as athletic. I pray that your life will good for all the better. Then I think of others who have given so much and we have it so good. As I age I feel more for the younger one who must carry on. When I was younger I even volunteered for a mission in Korea that seemed hopeless; but I was the un-married one who had no family responsibility and nothing to lose - as a Christian that is. I'm glad that my dad never found out and that it turned Ok. "Wether I lived or died - I was the Lord's"

I think of Sean and your family so often. I just don't get by the sites much. I really wish more could be done in the area of research. I do believe the answer is there and that it is simple. I think it will be something for adults and children alike. I just wish it would get found quickly, like years ago. Please know your Sean will never be forgotten. I am so sorry to hear about your cousin as well.
Love,

WOW, I love coming to visit Sean's site. What a wonderful family he has. It's amazing how life comes around, that the one who gave Sean his shirt would buy it back. Truly amazing.....

Anyway, I'm always praying for you all. The Cohens, while I have not met them personally, are amazing people.

It's funny, I was thinking of you all today with the change of the seasons. I was wondering what the Colorado Aspens are looking like at this time of year. I'll bet they have an amazing glow with Sean overseeing them. He is probably just letting you know he is *everywhere* now.

God, the lives your son touched.

Many prayers to you all,

This is what he did. " Then I explained about Sean. You just can't believe or imagine how many lives your Sean has touched. He and you all, have touched me forever. You are an amazing family, and as hard as it is, God is using you to reach people in ways that only you can. I miss Sean. I was thinking about CIY a couple of years ago, when he wasn't feeling well and used my cell to call Dave. I think he was really just homesick :) He loves you all so much. That will never change!

So dissapointed to learn of the homeopath's deceit. It's disheartening to think that people we should be able to trust can have such a total lack of integrity. I'm very sorry for the additional pain that this has caused you. Unfortunately, there are times when the challenge is in living life again vs merely surviving it and going through the motions. That is why I am so proud of you for continuing to venture out and to "stay in the game." Your CPR business is an awesome idea. You two will excell at it. And Laura, I hope you will enjoy returning to a dental assistant position. They are lucky to have you. You are a special family and the strength of your faith is apparent. Know that you are all dearly loved and in our prayers daily.

Hello, I am so sorry it has been so long since we have talked. I have been working thriteen hour day this last week and have been thinking of you guys often. I am so sorry to hear about your news. I can' t seem to find a reason why this has happend to Sean and why people are so careless with other peoples lives. It is so Ironic to see some one with so much love for other people and so much kindness have to leave so soon by someone who is so unthoughtful of peoples lives. It hurts to think of how much more I could have learned from your son and how many more lives he could have touched. We could have had our Dance. I know that he still touches me every seconed of my life. And if I could give some thing to everyone in the world it would be his story and his wonderful peace he has about him. Hope to see you soon, my prayers are with you much Love, Lindy

Dear Dave,Laura, and Kelsey it is one o' clock in the moring on Valentines day. I can't sleep with out telling you how much I miss and love Sean. If I could pick any day to see him it would be today. There are so many things I didn't say and so many things we missed out on together: prom, all the things we had planed to make up for prom. And all the trips we wanted to take across the world. I am also very thankful for the times we had, at church sitting and making plans, at the hosiptal wacthing finiding nemo, and just sitting on the couch talking about pink elphants and flying objects. I also wanted to thank you for being there for me and letting me spend so much time with you. I see so much of Seans kindness and generosity in your family and it gives me a very familar feeling. Thanks again for all your love and all you do. Have an awesome Valentines day, and I will try and stop by Sunday afternoon if that is ok. Many prayers and much love, Lindy

The road has been rough, but you all are doing great! I think it's awesome that you are doing a Bible Study! I hope it will bring you peace. Mom, Dad and I went through some old Videos a couple weeks ago, and found one of Christmas 1989. We laughed as Nikki and I were trying to get Sean to say, "Merry Christmas Grandpa." It brought tears to my eyes, because as time goes on we forget about the little things... like I used to call Sean... Seany. I'm so thankful for the wonderful Son you raised. Sean touched many people's lives and I know he still does on earth and in Heaven. I hope things get easier... and know that he is always with you. I love you all! Dear Laura, Dave and Kelsey,
I found Sean's website over a year ago when my neighbor's son had been diagnosed with neuroblastoma stage IV. I don't know why, as you all have no physical ties to me, but I have followed Sean and his progress. I had prayed for Sean and his healing. I had prayed for you all and that you would have the strength to get you through whatever may come.

I hate to say, but I have been very neglectful in the last few months and I havent' been around to read about any of my Caring Bridge kids.

I came here today hoping and almost expecting to hear that Sean was doing well. I found out different and very sad news. My prayers go out to you all. I will continue to read your updates and pray for you all. I am very very sorry for your loss.

Laura,
Yesterday at work my co-worker was talking with one of our suppliers and asked how his holiday went. He told her he had attended a funeral for a young man 18 years old that had fought cancer. She was shocked and after asking him more questions confirmed that it was Sean's. Dave Cohen, isn't that amazing. He sat at the table right by us for dinner and he was actually in our office earlier that month but since I don't work on that side of the purchasing group I didn't get to meet him. I know he works with the fund raisers for Make-a-Wish and our vice president of purchasing will be joining their upcoming golf outing.
I just thought what a small world it is. He is such a nice guy. Well just wanted to share that with you.
I think of you guys everyday and hope that each day the sorrow and emptiness lessens just a bit. The process of greiving is very individual and no one can understand your pain like our Savior. I am so thankful that you had given Sean the opportunity to learn of the Savior and that he accepted his atonement for our sins. What a comfort that can be in our lives.
We hope to get together with you guys soon. Call when you feel up to it. Hugs and Kisses, Bonny and Steve

Dear Flanagans,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I ran across this poem and thought of Sean. We only met your family once, but we feel like we know you through Steve and Bonny. Our prayers are with you.

Last night I had a wonderful dream,
I had come to a beautiful garden;
I entered in through pearly white gates,
Sin free for the Lord gave me pardon;

My eyes beheld such beauty,
My mind such peace never felt;
When Jesus showed me His flowers,
My heart began to melt;

For in place of orchids was Mother and Dad,
Singing at the top of their voice;
Instead of roses were brother and sis,
Dancing as they rejoice;

It's hard to explain all I saw there,
The wondrous sights to behold;
The Lamb of God in His glory,
How He welcomed me into His fold;

When I woke up I was saddened,
To think this was all just a dream;
I sat alone in the quiet,
Then I realized what I had seen;

God is picking His flowers,
For all of Heaven to view;
And as He completes His garden,
I pray He will pick me too.

Dear Flanagan's,
Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all in this time of loss. We all know that you will draw strength from God and the other people around you who love and care about you so much during this difficult time. Even though Sean is gone, we will not stop praying for you. In fact, this is probably a much better time to be praying than any other. Ashlee wrote a poem about losing Sean that she would like to give to you on Friday at his memorial service. Please know that even though our families aren't extremely close, we have known you all for a very very long time, and our hearts are breaking right along with yours. Stay strong! Here's a bit of encouragement for those rough days ahead: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3 NKJV) We all love and care about you so very much!!!! :o)

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to each one of you.

Obviously, Sean is well liked, has been an inspiration to many and has touched the hearts of many throughout the world as can be attested by the 23,500+ visitors to this site.

It´s a difficult moment for each of you, but you´ve certainly have to be proud of such a fine man that has reached out and touched so many peoples lives in a very positive manner.

Another angel takes flight.

My deepest, most sincere sympathy and condolences to each and every one of you!! Sean was a fighter, there is no doubt about that! He is now pain free, free to fly in the Heavens and watch over all of you!
We lost our precious Pam on Oct. 7, 2003, so I know what you are going through. There are no words that can ease the pain.
I would just like to share a saying that was on the card my wife Diane picked out, and we bought for Pam:

If you were a star
That wasn’t expected back
In the universe
For a thousand years,
I’d wait.

If you were the sky
And everyone went inside
When you got sad
And started to rain,
I’d stay.

And if you were a peach
And the world decided to get rid of all peaches,
I’d pick you up,
Put you in my pocket…

AND KEEP YOU……..FOREVER.

I would also like to share, with you and your family, a poem that was put on Pams website:
God's Garden

God looked around His garden
And found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered "Peace Be Thine."

It breaks our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You are all in our prayers. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

hi sean :)
my daughter is 18 too and has no idea how truly blessed she is to be in good health. it is her cousin that is on the caring bridge. she just turned 13, was diagnosed with leukemia 2 years ago, did the whole chemo thing and has been in remission for awhile now. i started following her progress in april as well as some of the links. at first it was cool but when kids got worse or died i took it really hard and didn't want to do it anymore. but i know now how important it is to pray and hope. i have added you to my favorites tab and my prayer list. i believe god is still in the miracle makin' business and cares deeply about your pain. i will pray.

Hey Sean! I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling very well. I hope that all of that ends soon and you can get back to feeling at least a little bit normal. I know that there are a ton of people praying for you. My faith in God isn't doing too well right now, but I always manage to say a prayer for you no matter how close or far away from God I feel. I LOVE YOU AND CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!! :o)

Hi Sean,
We've never met, but my mom and I have been following your story for awhile now. My family is good friends with the Cohens and that is how we learned about you. I just wanted to let you know that even though I don't know you personally, you are in my prayers every night. I truly admire how strong you are and your will to go on. I would like to meet you someday, if that would be alright. Well anyway, you and you family will always be in my prayers. Love Always, Heather

Glad to hear that you are getting out of the house and getting around and seeing some different scenery. Glad to hear that you can take your Chemo from home, that is a relief. Just wanted you to know that I think of you daily and pray for you and the family. My mom said to tell you Hello. She may get to come home on Wednesday the 10th. That is the plan for now. Sean and family: Just wanted you to know that we of Southeast Christian Church are praying for each of you. We praise God for you and your faith, love, strength and your incredible witness of trust in God. All of us struggle with our faith at times but like the man talking to the Lord in Mark 9:24..."I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief..." we keep on keeping on. Please know that others see in you the Lord and we praise Him for your faithfulness in the good and bad times of life. God bless you all and especially you Sean.

I'm so sorry Sean that I never told you this before, but I LOVE YOU!!!! You are such an awesome person, and have been a blessing to me in my life all these years that I have known you. You truly are one of my heroes and are an inspiration to everyone who has ever met you. Thank you for that. Words cannot express what I feel, or what your family must be feeling, but know that you are loved. God will never give you anything that together you and He cannot handle. You don't have to apologize to any one for your most recent post. More people should be worried about others being saved. God bless you! My fourteen year old son just got saved and baptized about a month ago. Praise God!

Your post about Christmas was my thoughts exactly too! I don't mind buying presents, but most kids now days have all the toys they want and I never know what to buy that they will enjoy. I think the commercialism takes too much away from the true meaning of C-H-R-I-S-T-mas. Like it is said, "Jesus is the reason for the season."

Hi Sean, I've been checking in on your progress and keeping you in my prayers. You've made it this far, radiation will be a breeze. I was diagnosed with Ewing's in my right leg, just below the knee, 5 years ago. After a week of radiation I tried to bargain with the docs saying I'd take 2 years of radiation if we could skip the last 6 months of chemo. It unfortunately didn't work but honestly, radiation was one of the easiest parts of being sick. I'm glad to see you're doing well. I've recently starting running again after being told I'd never run again, so I'm sure you will have a quick recovery and be back to doing everything you did before in no time. I'll continue praying for the best. Take care,

Hey, Sean! We have been following your site for quite a while and after I saw your most recent pics, I just had to sign the guestbook and say, "YOU LOOK GREAT!" Wow! I can't believe with all you have been through you look so good. You are one handsome guy and obviously a true fighter! My 6 year old son has Ewing's of his skull. We are on chemo number 11 this coming week. We did radiation - 6 weeks of that - and had surgery first thing (they thought Jake's tumor was a brain tumor at first) and now just finishing up with chemo. I am so glad you are doing so well and hope that the rest of radiation goes well also. Lots of prayers coming to you from Nebraska!!!! Go Huskers! I'm sure being from Colorado, you are a BIG Husker fan - ha! Go kick some Ewing's butt!

Hi.
I came across your site through Gooch's site.
My name is Brittany Rezmerski. I am 14 years old. I had Ewing's Sarcoma in my left hip joint.I went through many rounds of chemotherepy and sugeries.They finally took out my hip joint and tumor and replaced them with a graph. So my hip joint is fused together,it won't move.
I have been in remission for about two years.
If there is one word for this horrible diease it's suck.Cancer just plain sucks.If I could, I would take the place of every kid that has to go through chemo and radiation.
Here are some tips me and my friends came up with while on Chemo.
1. You can make a long straw out of extra IV tubing so you don't hafta sit up and drink
2. Don't eat froot loops and then ride in the car after chemo, they might some back up.
3. Campbells chicken noodle soup is a must, I went through about 4 or 5 cans every time I had chemo.
4. Popsicles are good too.
5. You can head-paint instead of face paint. I had a huge spiderweb on my head for halloween
6. Sometimes you can sneak in your pet dog into the hospitial is you ask really nicely. (I snuck my puppy in a few times.)
7. Ask if your friends can stay the night in the hospitial room. I had a few slumber parties when I was feeling good.
8. My mom used to tell me this all the time, The nurses at the front desk are not your personal secretaries. he he he
9. Always have a barf basin in every room of the house
10. Don't let your cat jump on your belly after chemo.
Hope these help during your tough times.
Feel free to e-mail me if you want to chat.

Hi Sean, my name is Brittany. I am 15 and have the exact amputation as Danielle did. I got your webpage from Jessie Falstedt.
I wanted to write and let you know, that I have gone thru this also, and to let you know that if you ever want to write me for questions or just to talk, you can ANYTIME!
I'm so sorry to hear about Danielle. I never personally knew her, but after my amputation, I was given her email address and phone number, and was told to contact her. I had tried emailing her, but never heard anything back. When Jessie had told me about her passing, I knew the name sounded familiar. It really hit home with me, and I'm sure it did with you too. I know it has to be hard for you to deal with this, as you 2 were pretty close. But just remember, she is now in heaven watching over you! She always will be.

It would be great to get to know you and to be able to share things with you, because you know how it is to deal with an amputation. I also wanted to let you know, I have been dealing with harsh phantom pain too. As you know, its not that easy to deal with pain that just isn't really there! Maybe we will have tips for each other on what to do when it hits.
Anyways, my email address is peachy_252@hotmail.com -- and my caringbridge page is www.caringbridge.org/mn/brittanyross. Feel free to visit or write me anytime you want to. It would be great to hear from you! I hope everything gets better for you, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Brittany Ross

Hey Sean, you look good in "Red". Really glad to hear of the progress you are making. Hearing about your leg reminds me of an event that Jan and I went to last Sat night. We went to hear the "Irish Tenors" at the Buell Theatre which was a treat for us. Anyway, one of the trio is a fellow named Ronan, he is 6'4", weighing in over 250, and is the leader of the group. As a child he had some congenital condition of his legs which made walking very difficult. At age 20 he was in an auto accident and from complications he lost both legs below the knee. Watching and hearing him sing was an inspriation knowing all that he had overcome to be able to perform as he does all over the world. I recommend that you visit TheIrishTenors.com site, his story and his music is amazing. Anyway, you too are an inspiration and we are so thankful you are getting better. Ever thought of singing tenor? See you soon. Ron&Jan

HIYA Sean, thank you for the email, dad. I really appreciate hearing from you. Sean, we wanted to check and see how you are doing. I know Cancer is just so much to cope with in so many ways! I think sometimes how unbearable it is and how strong you have to be to be going through this. Let me tell you how much I admire you. Every day you are making a difference in someone's life. It is so great that you have such a great family. We have a friend that just had transplant 2 days ago and really no family around. I just imagine that has to be so hard to deal with. We will visit her when we go to clinic and the nurses really keep her company but there is nothing like friends and family. When Katia was first diagnosed, about 70 people showed up that night. I thought, "Well how long will they stick this out?" I have to say a lot of them were continuing to visit her throughout her treatment and I was so touched. A friend of mine one day drove an hour and a half just to bring me a Subway Sandwich!! What good friends. I remember one day some ladied came and knocked on Katia's door and I didn't recognize them. They brough her a big basket of toys and books and candy and some balloons that they had to leave downstairs (none allowed on the floor). Anyway, so many people just stepped up and really showed how much love was in the world. We met people we never knew before. Katia has gotten well over 2000 cards to date mainly from people we have never met. I made up my mind, I was going to give back. I was going to try to speed up that clock to a cure, make sure everyone had a bone marrow match and plenty of blood and platelets for transfusions but most of all, a friend. We had a friend who was 18 when he was diagnosed, just 5 months before Katia. He had the same type of Leukemia which is rare so we instantly became friends with him and his family. He would let me know how chemo felt and the tests they were running and just was so helpful and his Mom was always there when I needed to talk. We were away from home 90% of the time so I knew everyone at the hospital, families, doctors, staff, cleaning crew, cafeteria crew, etc. better than I knew most of my family. Anyway they were there for me when I really needed someone to tell me what to expect and what was going on. I have said all this - I am very long winded when I type - to say, you really seem to have a good quality about you and you have a wonderful family. I am sure in the longrun of all of this you are someone's angel and you will be their angel throughout. God sends us angels so we can be an angel:) Love, Tracy

Sean and family, I have been following you for some time now but I think this is the first time I have signed the guestbook. I got your website from Gooch's website. I really enjoy looking at your photo album. There are always great pictures. It seems like Sean has a great support system not only from his family but from his many friends. My nephew, Jaxon, was diagnosed with AML on September 1st, 2001. He was 4 months old. He had an umbilical cord-blood stem-cell transplant on February 1st, 2002, at 9 months old. He did well in transplant with only the "normal" reactions. He just had his second birthday at the end of April and has been in remission for 17 months now. His website is http://www.caringbridge.org/ar/jaxon I hope you will visit his website and enjoy that sweet smile of his. I hope your transplant process continues to go as smoothly as possible with only the normal bumps in the road. Thanks for sharing your story with other Caringbridge families. You are an inspiration to many.

I just wanted to let you know that I came to see your page. You dont know me, I am the mom of another ewing's sarcoma patient. My daughter Natalie is 10 years old and has been through 8 chemos and surgery already (on her left arm), she still has 6 more chemos to go. I just thought I would let you know, I will pray for Sean and the rest of the family, as I know it is everyone going through this at the moment, Sean gets the worst of it of course. Sean sounds like he is a strong guy with a GREAT attitude, I think attitude can get you through about anything, even when you are scared on the inside. These kids are amazing. And Sean hang in there like you have been, you can do anything you put your mind to. May God Bless You.

I talked with your mom today and glad that you are home again and doing so well with the walker. I hope and pray that this time you can stay and get your strength back. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. I watched a news program that showed a man who lives in Washington D. C. and he Kaya's to work on the Cheaspeak bay. He said it beats being stuck in trafic for over an hour. I thought about you and thought that maybe one day we might have to go the Aurora Res and you can show me how its done. Only I do not want to count the fish. Be strong and know that everything in your life God is in Control. He loves you and only wants the best for you. Hi Sean, I am so blessed and grateful to have you for a grandson! I am so sorry for all the pain and suffering you have to endure these past six months and more. I wish I could take some of the pain and suffering away. So many of the plans you have made have been changed but they say when one door closes another door opens and if we all keep praying and having faith in our Heavenly Father I am sure some of those doors will bring you more joy and happiness than we can imagine. You have met some very wonderful people while in the hospital who are looking out for you. Hi Sean,Dave,Laura, Kelsey! It's your aunt Vicki again! I hear you are doing pretty good, under the circumstances. Sorry you weren't feeling up to Lindsey and I coming up to see you the other day. She wants to see you so we'll figure out another day. I think about you ALL the time and being a Mom myself, wish that I could take your pain away, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way... Keep up the great progress in your healing. I know it's time consuming, but you're strong and will beat this soon! You are a winner in my mind!
See you soon!

God Bless you, I know you will come a long way with the progress you are having so far and with you faith in God. We don't understand why bad things happen to good people but we just trust in God. I lost my granddaughter in an automobile accident and that was devasting to me and I could understand why took her first. I know I will see her again some day. God Bless you and keep positive. Hi Sean when I found out you were sick, my heart dropped to my stomech. That was probably the worst news I have gotten in years. But I hear that you are doing better and I hope I can keep hearing the good news. I was trying to come and see you but you were not feeling up to it today. Even though I am not much of a prayer I still pray for you every night, I just pray that you get well soon. I think when you get better you should take me Kayaking. Hi Sean, I found you through Jake's page and Dave. I must say you are another one of those strong, brave kids we know all to well. You are a remarkable person with that fight spirit that we are so proud of. Keep your chin up and don't let up on the nurses, it's what keeps them going. Gage's favorites were Shannon,Becky, and Jean the rhyming singing one. I hope they are all still there. They have many great nurses. I am not sure if you have met the angel Danielle ,but sure you will. She is definitely an inspiration herself. You kids are all so strong and brave. We are proud of all of you. You are in our thoughts and prayers and maybe we will meet you someday in person when we are there. God Bless and keep up the fight.

Do you know the difference between a priceless diamond and a common lump of coal? The diamond is a lump of coal that has endured intense pressure. The trouble it endured made it priceless. You do not know us, but I came across your site from Gooch's. I cannot say that i know what you are going through, because I don't. I do know what it is like to be in the hospital. My family and I were in a car accident, and as a result, my then 5 year old son Dylan, recieved a complete spinal cord injury at T-12, which means that he is paralyzed from the waist down. It just amazes me that what all you kids/young adults go through. You will conquer this monster!!!

Hello Sean,
We talked to your folks the other night and heard how well your surgery went. We had no doubts as we have seen how blessed you have been through this whole ordeal. It has been quite a trial to endure but you have shown how strong your faith is in our Savior, Jesus Christ and how he is able to perform miracles in our lives. One day you will look back at this and be amazed at how your spirit grew during this time in your life.
We love you very much and pray for you and your family daily. The Lord hears all the prayers of your family and friends and certainly has answered them through your continuing strength of character and body. We will come see you when you are feeling up to visitors. Until then, keep a smile in your heart if not always on your lips!
