Richard was diagnosed in 1997 and was in remission in 1998. We also made the decision in 2008 to have no more scans. It was a big, almost scary, decision to make but you have to reclaim your life from DSRCT at some stage. It's nice to know of another long term survivor. Very best wishes to you. My 16 year old son Ray was diagnosed with DSRCT in December 2006. He has one chemo treatment left of seven using the same drugs you were given. He was fortunate in that he was able to have a total resection before chemo treatments even started. We are now saddled with a decision as to whether to use radiation as his last scan after four chemo sessions were clear. My husband Chad was diagnosed with DSRCT in June 01. He has been threw 15 different chemos, surgery, stem cell transplant, and radiation.
