Hi Anthony and family,

I am so happy that we have reconnected after all these years; and I am thankful that you are doing so well and still counting your blessings. Thank you for the times we spent, the laughs and the lessons. Live well, my friend!

Just a quick note to let you both know that the Orgel family is thinking about you. Anthony, make sure to let us know when you are back on your (new) cycle. Hoping it won't be long!
Hugs and support from Ira, Beth, Greg, and Matt.

Justine and Anthony you do not know me but we are a small family - those affected by this illness- and you give so much hope and joy. There is a saying "Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet". You are both in the former category and getting wet is not an option! You are an inspiration for many people I am sure.May you keep the strength and humour that you have been blessed with, to win this battle once again.
Kind Regards

We don't look at DSRCT sites so much anymore. Richard was diagnosed in 1997 and was in remission in 1998. We also made the decision in 2008 to have no more scans. It was a big, almost scary, decision to make but you have to reclaim your life from DSRCT at some stage. It's nice to know of another long term survivor. Very best wishes to you. Hello Anthony and Justine, I would like to thank you for sharing your story with us, it’s very inspiring. My nephew was just diagnosed with DSRCT this week. I had scoured the internet looking for information that gives hope to an otherwise dreadful outcome when I ran across this website and your entry. If not too much trouble I would like to know what course of treatments you underwent and why you chose the treatment path you did.

My prayers are with you.

Hi Anthony,
Your story is encouraging for us as we have only been dealing with this disease for five months and are overwhelmed by the discouraging prognosis. My 16 year old son Ray was diagnosed with DSRCT in December 2006. He has one chemo treatment left of seven using the same drugs you were given. He was fortunate in that he was able to have a total resection before chemo treatments even started. We are now saddled with a decision as to whether to use radiation as his last scan after four chemo sessions were clear. If you have time could you tell us a little about the specifics of your treatment and what lead to the decision to go forward with each step.

sincerely
Eric Knowles

Hi Anthony,

I pray your results from the PET scan and CT scan were positive. We would love to hear how you are doing. We are praying for a similar result for my nephew David (22 dx May'05). He is in for a week of chemo this week at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. Your story gives us such hope. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all those fighting DSRCT. God Bless.

Dear Anthony,
I have come across your link ar DSRCT web pages. My cousin was diagnosed with DSRCT last year at age 21. I would like to learn about your chemotherapy treatment and stem cell transplant procedure. And have you been on any medications since then?
It's great to hear that your PET scan result is clear. Such news bring out hope for those whose struggles are not yet over.

Hi my name is Marlena and I have DSRCT. I'm doing research on stem cell transplant and the drugs used during treatment. If it isn't too much trouble I would really appreciate finding out what drugs were used during your husbands High Dose chemo. I always enjoy reading your site as it is refreshing to hear about people who have beaten DSRCT...I'm almost there...it's just a matter of clean up!

Greetings! I'm happy to see progress against DSRCT !
I was diagnosed with DSRCT (odd being that I'm a 25 year old female, but it's there, nonetheless) almost exactly a year ago.
We'll be sending prayers your way, Take care and best of luck,

Dear Anthony and Justine,
We too had our experience with DSRCT. I am sad to say that our outcome wasn't so happy. I am glad that you have had much success in your treatments and that you continue to do well. My prayers are with you and your family. I have kept my son's website up for reasons such as to help others with their search for information, awareness and for fundraising purposes. I would appreciate it if you could add his link to yours. www.paulsfightforlife.com

Hello,

My name is Jennifer Martinson. My husband Chad was diagnosed with DSRCT in June 01. He has been threw 15 different chemos, surgery, stem cell transplant, and radiation. He was in remission with no treatment for 6 months before his cancer returned. We are now waiting for the FDA to approve Chads application for a clinical trial on a new chemo.

Keep up the positive outlook and never take a day for granted.
