What a beautiful family! My 8 year old son has NF II. We don't have a family history of it either. I'd never even heard of it when he was diagnosed two years ago. A cavernous sinus schwannoma (brain tumor) has taken the vision in his left eye. I feel helpless at times and like I'm just waiting for the next MRI to show a new tumor somewhere.
