Yo, Noah! I never wrote you before but you are quickly becoming my number 1 dude! Can you believe I still complain about not having enough sleep? You are an inspiration to me to remember what's really important, like all the love I have in my life and all the other stuff, well, I'm just going to have to grow up a little and don't take my life so seriously. I'm sending you a prayer and hope your Suns can make it into the playoffs.

Hi Noah,
Today is our granddaughter Meghan's 2nd birthday and we were thinking about you and Sarah. We sure like the pictures of you with Amare. How cool was that. We just saw them now as we have really been busy with family here. We had everyone for Easter and had a great Easter egg hunt in our new backyard. Glad you had one too. The next day all the family went to Legoland. Have you been there? If not you will have to go when you feeling good as there is a lot to do there. We are trying to figure out how to get the purple braclets and hope to have them soon. Our Love and Prayers. Aunt Pat and Uncle Bill

Good evening Noah,
Well the big thing at school is Ladybugs! Who would have thought it! Everyone on the playground is looking for Ladybugs! Since the letters of the week were Q and R, one friend brought in a RED laybug for show and tell!! We had to keep our eye on that ladybug so it would not get out in the class room. Pretty creative, I thought, to think of the RED ladybug for the letter R. Hope you are staying strong and finding your own ladybugs. They always bring a smile to my face , and maybe they will to yours too. Love, Mrs. Armstrong

HI NOAH...
You are such a brave young man and I know you will be fine. When our daughter Melissa (now 34 years old and the mom of two) was 1 year old she had the same neuroblastoma that you have. She had some days when she didn't feel so well as I imagine you have also. Know that you will soon be feeling better and stronger when your therapy is all finished. Please give our love to your Mom and Dad and your Uncle Brian (he is one of our favorite people!) And of course we will be wearing our bracelets as soon as we get them, while thinking of you and praying for you each day.
Sending you hugs (please share them with your Mom and Dad)

NOAH!!!

Are you still my little Prince or should I call you one of the Ninja Turtles?? I hope that you are feeling better. I wear your purple bracelet everyday, and as a matter of fact when I was at the store tonight this nice lady was behind me and she asked me what my bracelets supported... I told her about you and she wishes that you feel better and beat this. I was going to donate blood today in your honor, but they were closed so I will have to go back and try again. When I do go, I will also sign up to be a bone marrow donor, so that I can help others like you who might need some. I was thinking about you tonight as I ate dinner. Can you guess what I had?? I had that orange chicken that I brought over to your house that one night I watched you and Princess Sarah. When you are feeling up to it I will bring some over for you to eat, let me know. Get your rest little buddy, and hopefully I will be able to see you soon. Use your superhero powers you have to get you through this round of therapy. Say hi to mommy and daddy for me. Love you and thinking about you always, Kylie

Hi you guys
Joe and I had everyone we knew watching TV for that game this week...Stacy/Fritz had everyone they knew watching in Colorado and all we got was the game?? no half time or pre-game show with "our" Noah. What happened to TV in California? Oh well, we atleast got to see a "winning team" and have the photos Auntie attaches to this website. We are all wearing your beautiful purple bracelets and believe it or not, I have people stopping me for YOUR information. I am passing on this website for everyone to learn about you and what you are going through so they can make donations for the doctors to learn more about that creepy crud you're getting rid of.....Glad to hear grandma Kathy got there. Please pass on our love, support and prayers to everyone helping you.

We are so happy to hear that you are doing better. How cool that you are going to be on TV tonight!. We are going to stay up late just to watch it. Its three hours later here but we are going to stay up late because we are excited to see you on tv.

Chris talks all the time about when you guys played dress up and he was Woodie last time we were in Phoenix.

You will have to come to the islands. We will have lots of fun. We can go snorkeling and look at really cool fish and coral underwater! There are lots of sea turtles, star fish and tropical fish to see. There is even a glass submarine that we can go on that goes deep underwater. Maybe we could even see a shark or a whale!

Stay strong and always know how many people love you and are thinking of you every minute of everyday.

Hey Noah!! Happy Easter Monday to you and your family! Its Mrs. L, back here at La Casa after spring break. It was fun to stay home and be with my children, even if they are alot, alot, alot older than you are! Do you know what, though? Even though they are in their twenties, they still like decorating Easter eggs!!! So we had fun doing just that! Sounds like you had a fun Easter egg hunt, too. Did you decorate your eggs? Noah, there have been 9,108 people who have been on your web site. That is so many people, all of whom love you and are praying for you. Just think of how many more are praying for you and your family that you don't even know about! That's because you are a very special little boy...but we knew that already, huh? Keep being strong. With love, Mrs. L.

Hi Noah,

I am so happy to hear that you have been having some good days! All of those prayers must be working. This Saturday my friends and I are sponsoring a fundraiser in your honor at The Final Final (our neighborhood sports bar). The nice owner of the Final Final, Arnie, has already contributed $100 to start us off. Luckily, I have lots of friends who are always willing to contribute to a good cause (and enjoy some tasty cocktails simultaneously). And listen to this, one of the bartenders, Tim, has even offered to match whatever we raise. My friends and I are excited to be able to help out in any way that we can. Have a Happy Easter and remember that your friends in San Francisco are rooting for you!

My dearest Noah,

I'm so happy to hear that you are doing so much better. I have to tell you that I really miss all of you so much. It's really hard being so far from all of you. I was going to come and see you this weekend but your mom and dad decided that it's better that I wait. Both your dad's Aunt Judy and Uncle Jamie are coming today so I should wait until your mom and Auntie need me later in the month. I do think that I will plan ahead next year so that I get to be with you for Easter. I was so impressed with your new Mutant Ninja Turtle toys. How did you ever talk your mom into that? Good job. Well, give Sarah and Baby Sean hugs and kisses for me. I miss all of you and I can't wait to see you.

Love, hugs and kisses, Grandma

Hola Noah! I'm your Great Auntie Kathie and I just returned last night from a vacation in Mexico. I had lots of fun with girlfriends and my little girl (40 years old!). We all were thinking of you, your sister, your mom and dad, Grandma Kathy, and your aunties and uncles. We went into some beautiful churches and said lots of prayers for you. I'm sooooooo happy you're home and feeling better. I know it's a real bummer to be fighting those bad guys cruising around in your body, but I also know you're a really strong dude and YOU CAN DO IT!!! Plus there are lots of good buddies who are doing the good fight dance for you (plus saying LOTS of prayers...they really work, you know). Uncle Jerry and I send you and your cool family big hugs and kisses...and lots of love. xoxo

My mom says you make three wishes when you go to a new church for the first time. I made a wish that you would feel better soon. We just got back and looked at your website to see how you have been doing. Sounds like you have more friends thinking about you and praying for you than you can even count! I saw this on another site and thought it was wonderful. Praying for Noah and will donate platelets in his name this week.

C . stands for "I Can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

A . is for his promise to Always be with me until the
end of the world (Mathew 28:20).

N . in Hebrews he says that he will Never, never leave
me or forsake me (Hebrews 13:5).

C . is to Cast all your cares/troubles on Jesus, for
he cares for me. (1 Peter 5:7).

E . is God's promise of Everlasting life (John 3:16).

R . is for my Redemption and the forgiveness of sins
(Colossians 1:14), and Relief for those who are
troubled (2 Thessalonians 1:7).

"With these promises from God's Word I knew I had
already won."

Suggested prayer: "Dear God, thank you that in all my
trials and troubles you have promised to always be
with me and to comfort me--so that I will be able to
comfort others who are also going through similar
trials. Please help me so to do. Thank you for hearing
and answering my prayer. Gratefully, in Jesus' name,
amen."

I am hoping that I will be able to stop by possibly this week to see you, and drop something off. I was talking to a friend of mine tonight about you, and he wishes that you feel better soon... He passed your name on at his church and they have been praying for you to feel better. Well, I think it's time for bed. I will write again soon. Love ya, Kylie

Hi Nelson Family, Noah especially! You don't know me but I am a mom from MOPS at La Casa. I heard about Noah at MOPS and have been following your story through this wonderful website. Please know that I am praying for you and thinking of you often and am enlisting the prayers and thoughts of everyone I know, including such great people as the moms of the MOMS Club of North Scottsdale/Pinnacle Peak whom I'm sure will be contacting you soon to see how we can be helping you.

I was reading about how you switched to Osco pharmacy - do you know about the Apothecary Shop here in Grayhawk? They aren't open on weekends or evenings which might be difficult for you, but they flavor everything, and they deliver! They are located in the Scottsdale Healthcare medical plaza (behind Discount Tire) and accept most health insurance. I'm guessing delivery might come in handy for you these days. It might be an option for some of your prescriptions.

Anyway, I'll keep thinking of you and sending good wishes your way. Keep up the good work, Noah. Lara, if you ever need anything, as I told Jennine at La Casa, we live close by in Grayhawk. She knows how to reach me. Just let me know how I can help!

I knew my chicken soup would make you feel better. I can't wait for you to feel even better so that we can play together. I hope to see you again soon! Bye!

This is Ron and Elizabeth Wells, brother-in-law and sister of Johannah, your Uncle Brian's friend. Though we don't know you personally, Johannah told us all about you, especially the fun trip you all took to the zoo last year. Your nice website has allowed us to follow along with the recent events in your life as well. Know that we think about you and pray for you often.

Dear Noah,

I know you and your wonderful family from Shemran Court. Whenever you go to visit Grandma Kathy, sometimes we are there and my kids get to play with you. See I have a very soft spot in my heart for all of you, I used to babysit your mom, aunt and uncles more times then I can even begin to count. I practically lived over at Grandma Kathy's home. She was like my second mom, and the kids were the brothers and sister's I never had. I loved taking care of all of them. Your Auntie Brigit was the show stopper though - she would give me a run for my money - but she and I both survived and see how well she turned out. She is an amazing woman. I wouldn't let Uncle Brian do the laundry any more - I remember a few years ago he was doing his laundry at Grandma Kathy's and washed a red chapstick with all of his clothes - I think that tube of chapstick touched every piece of clothing that he had in there. You wouldn't want your cool shirts to be spotted. Just leave the laundry to the girls. I stopped sitting when Kevin was little, so I didn't get to know him very well. Since your mommy was the oldest, I got to play and babysit her the most. We spent a lot of time together even when I wasn't getting paid to take the kids of Grandma Kathy's hands. She is awesome person and I'm sure the best mommy in the world. Your so lucky to have such a great family.
We are so glad that you are home. We can't even begin to understand what you all are going through. I have been complaing about my kids and all the germs around here -between fevers, runny noses, coughs, ear infections, Bronhitis, Pneumonnia and the Flu. I have been to the doctor's once a week with one child or another for the past 2 months.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you - Kaleigh and Taylor have put you on their prayer list at school.

Love Sheryl and Family

Noah,

My little prince, right?!? At least that's what Sarah wants me to call you since she is princess. Buddy, I have known you, mommy and daddy since you were a baby, and Sarah since she was a baby. You along with your family are a big part of my life, and I know that you are a strong boy and will beat this. I know you were having some not so fun days when I came to visit you, but you were still able to brighten the room up with the well-known "Noah smile" that everyone loves. Keep Smiling :-)Use your superhero powers that you have to feel better so that we can play, ok. Or if you just want to relax, let me know and I will bring over Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for you to watch. Keep your head up and never look down. You have a lot of people praying for you to feel better. I love you buddy, and your family. Love, Kylie

Hi Noah! It's us again... Barrett, Payton, Tracy & Chris. We just wanted to tell you about the little bunny that keeps hopping around in our back yard. Every time we are in the kitchen he comes to say hello. He stands under the lemon tree and peeks in the window. We were trying to think of a name for him when Barrett said, "I have the PERFECT name, NOAH!" It is the perfect name don't you think? Every time we see that bunny's cute little face we say, "There's Noah!" We were wondering. Did you send him to check on us and say hello in your place? Barrett has really been asking about you lots and misses you. We all do! Every night Barrett screams his prayer for you into his pillow so he doesn't disturb Payton, but he wants to make sure God can hear him. He says the louder, the better.

We love you!

Noah,
I am a friend of your mother and father and your dad and I occasionally ride mountain bikes together. I ride a few times a week and every time I'm on my bike I think about you. What I think is that like mountain biking, right now you need to keep your head up and look where you want to go. Do not look down and do not look at the obstacles in your way. Keep pedaling, momentum is your best friend. Do not get distracted, keep focused and don't let the hills intimidate you. When you need to rest, rest. When you are resting look back at where you have come from and the obstacles you have overcome to get where you are. Use this to motivate you for your next leg of the trail. Remember you can do anything you put your mind to. There is no mountain to high!
Sent with love.

Noah - we are friends of your grandparents Ron and Georgia and we knew your father when he was a young boy, a little older than you are. We look at your picture and see the fun and spark of a little boy who wants to be out running and playing and we know that soon you will be doing that. Right now you have to be quiet and get the rest that you need to fight this. The best part is that you are not alone - we are all fighting this with you through our prayers, our thoughts and our hopes. Think of each day as being better than the last and that you have more friends (new and old) on your side. WE send a hug to you and all your family.

Dear Noah,
Happy Saint Patricks day from your great aunt and uncle. How glad we were to hear you are back in your home again. It must be a lot of fun having Aunt Briget and Sean be with you, and now Uncle Brian.
A lot of prayers are being said by all of the Slocums. We have a grandson your age named Spencer. He and his brother Timothy pray for you every night. Their Mommy is going to have another boy this summer.
We live in Carlsbad which is near San Diego where you have visited. Maybe when you are feeling a lot better you will come and visit us here, when you come to San Diego again. We would like that. Your Mommy used to visit us a lot when she was your age. We lived in another house then in a place called South Pasadena. So now we live a little closer to you. Do you ever visit Sedona? That was our house for 9 years. There are beautiful red rock mountains there. You would have fun there at the fishing farm trying to catch trout. Do you like to eat fish?
Yesterday we took care of our granddaughter Meghan, who is almost two. Her mommy and your mommy sure had a lot of fun growing up together. Have your Mom tell you about their making cookies at your Grandmothers house in Fairfax. They were going to sell them and call the business Cousins Cookies. Cute name don't you think? Of course it never happened but they had a good time eating all the cookies with Uncle Brian and Aunt Briget. This was before Uncle Kevin was old enough to eat them. Well this is all right now. Have a good day today and say Hi to your Mom and Dad for us and all th rest of the family.
All our love and prayers to you and your family.

Nephew Noah,
I will be there tomorrow. I am so excited to be there. I was flying tonight and saw a huge shooting star. I made a wish for you, and at 26,000 feet I think we get a direct line to the man upstairs, so we have that going for us, which is nice. Hope today was a good day, and hopefully I will be tucking you in tomorrow night.

Much Love,

Hi Noah!

My mom and I went to church this last weekend and lit candles for you. We also wrote a prayer request and hand delivered it to the pastor. He promised that he and everyone at First Presbyterian in Berkeley would be praying for you. I have also told the kids in my class about you and they ask for updates everyday. They even remember your name (this is quite impressive since they often have difficulty remembering the majority of what I say) There are people who don't even know you who think of you often and pray for you daily. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Noah, you are so brave. I have 2 boys (7 and 9)and one of them went to La Casa too. His teacher was Mrs. Mikkelson. You sure do have a lot of people who love you and who are working hard to make you better. Our family will pray for you and each day you should close your eyes and imagine yourself doing your favorite thing, like playing baseball or swinging on the swings. After all the cancer is gone you will actually be doing those things again so you need to practice in your mind!

What a great smile!!! Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Life has a way of throwing us all curveballs. But the good batters learn how to look for them and then smash them "out of the park". So pick up some lumber, go up to the plate and put one out of the park.

Dear Noah,
I am a cousin of your friend, Jack Hepsen. His mommy sent me your web page and I wanted to tell you what a handsome and brave little boy you are. I have a grandson who was very sick once also. When he was just a tiny baby, weighing 2 pounds 2 ounces, he had to spend a lot of time in the hospital, like you. The doctors said he was too sick to ever come home with us. That was 6 years ago. This June he will be 7 years old. We also have to watch him very carefully, but, like you, he is a true miracle. My grandsons name is Colin and God watched over him the same way he is watching over you and your family. We will keep you and your family in our prayers and when I visit my cousin, Jack, I would love to come and visit you to. I am going to pass your page along to my family here in North Carolina and New Jersey, so they to can see what an honor it is to meet you. God bless you all and be well.
Much love from Jack's North Carolina family.

Hi Noah,
We are friends from your old neighborhood in McDowell Mtn. Ranch! You and David were born on the very same day. It seems like you already share that day with so many people. Wow!! We remember all of the days playing with you, Curtis, Kyle and Colin. Back then all you boys were into Buzz Lightyear and jumping on Francine's couch. We still look at pictures from our fun times in AZ. We moved to Ohio and now we're in Florida. Even though we moved away, the Diamondbacks are still our favorite baseball team, too!! We are all praying for you!! Say hi to your Mom and Dad.

Hi Buddy! I'm really starting to miss you! I can't wait to play Bionicles with you again. My mom showed me the picture of your new haircut. I LOVE it! My mom likes to cut my hair really short too and now you look just like my Daddy (my mom buzzed all his hair off just in time for the summer... he hates to sweat)! As soon as your ready and feeling good again I want to go hit golf balls, ride go-carts, and play video games at Cracker Jacks with the "boys" again. Do you remember that? I had fun! I miss eating bagel bites and playing at the park with you. I really need your help riding a bike without training wheels so get better soon!

We just watched the most awesome show, Extreme Makeover the Home Edition. It reminded us of how strong you are. There was a little girl, named Kassandra, who is 8 years old recovering from neuroblastoma. She's a strong kid, just like you! Hi, Noah-
We've been reading all of your Grandpa Nelson's emails because we like to know how you're doing. We have the Christmas picture of you and Sarah that your mom sent us up on our fridge, and we look at it and think about you all the time. Brad & I remember playing baseball with you in Lake Geneva a few summers ago; you and Hannah were such good players. We'll have to do that again, at our next family reunion. Until then, stay strong, feel better, and eat all of the bean burritos you can, OK? We're praying for you.

Hey Buddy Noah! What a great way to talk to all of your friends. We really miss you since we moved to Prescott. I especially miss hangin’ out with you and trying on all you cool costumes. Grady and I are in wrestling club. It’s really fun. When I grab my brother and throw him to the floor they don’t even yell at me. Usually they say “good move.” Grady is pretty tough though, but not always interested in learning new moves. The other day he did somersaults on the mat throughout the entire class. How can they expect him to grasp the concept of the single leg grab with a banana split twist (or whatever the coaches where talking about), he is only three. So I know you don’t wanna wrestle right now, but when you start hurting, close your eyes and picture yourself karate kicking the hurt right out of your body. My Mom knew a lady once who pictured her hurt as tiny carrots. She also envisioned little rabbits, maybe white or brown like the wild ones in the desert, eating all the carrots in her body. The rabbits grew big and strong and happy. Eventually there were no more carrots. Is that a silly story or what? Well, take care. We miss you and are thinking positive thoughts for you all the time. You are in our hearts - Love, Griffin, Grady, Glen, and Steph

Hi Noah,

Your Great Uncle Dick and I are thinking of you every minute. We are remembering the neat time we had at your house in October when you tried on every one of your costumes for us. We had never even heard of Yu-Gi-Oh, but that's who you were for Halloween. Remember when Sarah was so worried about your mean look when you wore the mask of the Hulk costume? She kept saying, "Noah, Noah, tickle, tickle." She was wanting you to be your smiling self. She's so cute and loves you so much. Your cousin Jack is a great fan of Spiderman too, so you and he will have fun when you can visit us in Illinois. It is snowing here now; I know how much fun you have in Flagstaff when it snows. You haven't met your new baby cousins Kylie and Natalie. They were born after you vacationed with us in Lake Geneva. We will have great times together again...just wait and see.

We love you; you are a great kid. Kisses to you and all our Arizona family. We love you.

Hi Noah, I heard about you from a friend at La Casa and I must say I’m very impressed that you care so much for the others in your room even though you don’t know them very well. Giving your toys to them, wow, that was really nice. Jesus is very proud of you and your mom and dad that you are all following His example of caring for others before yourself. You know He is walking beside you all day and night and anytime you are scared and you don’t want to wake up your mom or dad, you can just talk to Jesus. He loves you very much. Hi Noah, You don't know me, but I have loved getting to know your mom at MOPS this year. I just want to let you know that our family prays for you everyday in the car, at the table, at bedtime and all times in between. Jesus loves you so much and will help you through anything at anytime. Whenever we have a bad day or tough times, we have a favorite verse we repeat from the Bible. It is from the book of Philippians and says, "I can do ALL things through Christ, because He gives me strength." You can use it, too. Get strong and get better, Noah!!!

Hi Noah,
This is your friend Jake. Remember our mom's are friends from H.S. We just saw each other in Decemeber when your family was visiting your Grandma Cathy. You were waiting on a very long line with your dad to get your face painted at the Snow Festival in San Rafael. ( My mom was not as nice as your dad because she was too tired and too busy talking to your mom and grandma to wait on line with me and my sister Gigi so we did not get our face painted.)
I know you love baseball and your favorite team is the DiamondBacks. I love baseball too and my favorite team is the Oakland A's. Next time you visit your Grandma Cathy ...let's go to a Giants game together. My mom can get tickets that are really close to the field and players. You can see everything.

I can't wait to see you when you come to visit your Grandma in Marin...my sister Gigi can play with Sarah so we can play baseball. Like you... my sister also likes spiderman. Gigi loves to dress up in her spiderman halloween costume all the time and scare people...she really isn't scary...she's only 3. But she would love to play spiderman with you...

So Noah keep getting strong because we really miss you and are thinking of you always...take care ...your pal Jake

I am not sure you remember me but I sure remember you. Your uncle Brian and I took you to the San Francisco Zoo about a year ago. Remember how much you liked the monkeys? And I am pretty sure you and I made up a special dance that we kept doing all over the whole zoo. I have been thinking about you a lot lately and have been praying that you will get well quickly. Noah,
I would love for you to meet my son Steven. He will be 18 on April 11, 2005. When he was two, he also was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma IV. He even had Dr. Jesse Cohen as his doctor. It sure was a scary time, but he's doing great. FIFTEEN YEARS POST BMT. I still don't like his choice of music, and he very often drives me crazy, but I am happy to have an opportunity to complain about those things. When he was little and I was scared or worried about him, Steven would tell me "Don't worry Mom, God is in my room making me better". Ahh, the faith of a child. "Let the little children come unto me..." So I followed my son's example and I trusted in God and here we are 15 years later. You and your family will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Noah! I just thought I'd let you know that we really miss you! We've been playing with Sarah and taking her fun places so she won't miss you and your mom and dad so much. Boy is she ever stubborn! She jumps right in the car to come with us, but doesn't want to leave when it's time to go back home. I thought Payton was stubborn, but I think she has her beat! You know how much she likes to do things on her own? When I pick her up she jumps in the famous "mini van" and says "Sarah's Seat!" and gets in her seat (on her own of course, which could take a little time). Today I took her with us to school and she went to MOPS. It took us about 15 minutes just to get out of the car because both her and Payton needed ALL their ponies, IN THEIR POCKETS!! How do you reason with two stubborn two year olds and tell them that 3 ponies won't fit in 2 pockets! GIRLS!! You boys are much easier. Barrett really wishes he wasn't surrounded by so many girls so hurry up and get better so he can have a buddy to play with again. Another funny thing that happened to us was when We went to McDonalds after MOPS to get lunch. Barrett, Payton and Sarah were all yelling their orders out the window... "Chicken nuggets, juice box, chocolate milk, power aid, cheese burger!!!" Woa! The guy at the window was so confused! As hectic as it may be, I am loving every minute helping with Sarah and Payton and wouldn't trade my role in this for the world. So many people are keep coming up to me at school, that don't even know you, and they are telling me how much they love you and are praying for you. It's amazing! You've become a movie star in one week! Now starring Noah Nelson in his very own Yugi-O film. As soon as your feeling up to it, Barrett wants you to have a movie night in the famous mini van and pop, popcorn and watch Bionicle movies. We'll make a bed and everything and I'll even provide some dill pickles that you love to munch on when you come over my house. Get better soon so we can have a mini van party! We love you Noah! Tracy, Mrs. Allen, Barrett's Mom (you've been known to call me any or all of the above).

Hi Noah!

My name is Lauren and I went to high school with your mom and Uncle Brian, and I remember hanging out at your Grandma Kathy's house and playing with your Auntie Brigit and Uncle Kevin when they were just a little older than you are now! Boy, did we have fun! I wanted to tell you and your mom that I am thinking of you all the time and sending you lots of strength and positive thoughts and prayers. I believe that when lots of people are thinking about you at the same time (like they are thinking of you right now), you can actually FEEL their energy and strength and it helps get you through the bad times just a little easier. Noah, there are SO many people loving you from all over the world...stay strong and brave. XOXOXO

Hey Noah, its Mrs. L from La Casa! I came by the hospital to visit on Saturday, but you slept right through it!! But that's a good thing because resting helps the body to heal and get better. We talk alot at school about how important it is to be able to make a friend AND to be a friend, too. Noah, you have mastered that, because you have so many friends who love you and are praying for you. You even have friends that you have never met! Isn't that great? We'll all keep praying, you just keep getting stronger. Much love to you, Mrs. L

Maybe Dad and Uncle Scott can go as well but I bet they won't catch as many rainbows as you. Hey little Dude, we heard out here in California that you're feeling kind of sketchy! We're real sorry to hear that, but tough ballplayers like you know how to beat a curve ball that's been thrown your way. You know what to do when the curve ball is on the way? You keep your shoulders square to the plate and your eye on the ball. Keep your grip strong and tight on the bat. Stay light on the balls of your feet ready to swing hard from the hips. Be patient and think about where the ball is going to end up - not where it looks like it is right now. Curve balls are tricky and they try and fool you, but in your heart you KNOW you can hit this pesky curve ball that's come your way. Just believe that you're a hitter and swing away with complete confidence, and no curve will ever get by you!

Stay strong and when you're feeling better, come out to the beach and we'll go surfing!

Hi Noah -
It's Carlie. Do you remember when we played in your new backyard and a cat jumped over the wall? I loved looking for that cat with you and your flashlight.
I pray for you every night. My mommy and daddy taught me to pray every night and I believe that God listens very carefully to what I ask for. Sometimes I even pray for you before I eat my dinner. I know I am supposed to say the "bless my food" prayer...but I like the "Noah" prayer better.
My nanna and nanno in Palm Springs are praying for you. I think they are friends with God because they have asked Him for a lot over the years and He always answers them. My aunties and uncles are praying for you too! Did you know that I have 5 aunties and 3 uncles? They really like to pray and I know that if we all believe....you will be back to tip top shape in no time.
I hope you and Sarah can come jump on my trameline and look for bugs in my yard really soon.
Love and Kisses,
Carlie Clare

Noah also know as "little man" "bro" "dog"

What it is up Noah! I know you don't like being called dog but that’s what I call all my close buddies. I just want you to know that my friends and I are thinking of you everyday. Also, we think you are the coolest and strongest kid that is 4 1/2 years old. Your picture is on my refrigerator and so many girls comment on your good looks. So you have that going for you! Trust me that will be a good thing once you get past this bump in the road and grow older. I will go to the beach today and catch some waves for you because I know you love the beach and swimming so much. Later on down the road we will go swimming in the ocean together. Just letting you know everyone in Northern California is thinking of you. I will leave you with a quote even though you may not understand it.
Stay Strong!

Noah,

I have read all the letters and I know the world is with you. Today Clayton went to the park with your sister. He was kept out of school to keep her happy. Do you think that's a good deal? I do. I know your grandma Kathy was there to see you today so be sure to tell her how much you love her. Todd Koons was right, tell mom and dad to get out and see the sun. Mom and dad have some reading to do so make sure they read all of the letters to you. If they need some help let me know. Love ya bro~

My name is Linda and I work with your daddy at SSA Global. I live in Boston and I am a BIG RED SOX fan. Can you believe that they won the World Series? They are champions just like you! Sometimes things happen that we have no answers too but please know this that many people across the country are praying for you. Can you imagine that people who live in Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Rhode Island, Texas, Minnesota, Georgia, and New Hampshire are praying just for you…. Isn’t that exciting?!? I think so…. I hope you feel better soon because opening day is coming!

Hi Noah,

I know your Grandma Kathy very well and have met you and your family a few times on your visits to see your Grandma. On one of your visits I brought you and your sister a t-shirt from my work, thinking it was such a lame gift for two little kids, but I didn't know what else to bring. Your Mom informed me that I brought you one of your favorite things - a t-shirt - and sure enough, you went and put that t-shirt on and you were so happy with it. My grand-niece has gone through some of the things that you will soon be going through. She faced these challenges and has conquered them and you can do the same. Many people here at my work, my family and I are praying for you, you’re family, and the hospital staff to do their very best for you. Hopefully, my friend Wendy and I will get that quilt done for you soon to help keep you warm as you go through this journey. Love, Carrie

Dear Noah:

My name is Casey and I have two little girls, Caroline (age 5) and Chloe (age 4). Their mommy's name is Michelle. Michelle and I are friends of your mommy and daddy. We all love the pictures you send us because you and your sisters remind us so much of your parents and of the fun and adventures we had together in Arizona. Your mommy and daddy have always able to overcome challenges and we know you have inherited their spirit. Caroline and Chloe also wanted you to know about one of their best friends, MacKenzie Brown. She's a really happy and beautiful kid, just like you. And, just like you will, she beat cancer. So, we're going to be thinking of you and your family (and checking in on this great web site) as you set off on this adventure.

Hi Noah,

This Todd Koons, I was bummed to hear that you are not feeling well. But I'll bet you will meet lots of neat kids & people at the Phoenix Children's Hospital. Baseball season is right around the corner. So when you and your family is feeling up to it, I am ready to go!!
You remember my wife Cristina don't you? We went to the Diamondbacks vs. Oakland A's spring training game yesterday. Cristina's family is in town and they are from Oakland, that is across the bay from where your mom grew up, in the bay area!! The D-backs lost 5-0, but do you remember Erubiel Durazo, he use to be a d-back, he is now on the A's, he hit a Home Run (411ft) yesterday, Cristina's family was really happy after that!! They come down for spring training every year and we have a great time.
Cristina & I bowl every Thursday, and every time I mess up I play the claw game and try to win stuffed animals. Cristina says I am good at it, but that just means we bring home lots of animals, she is always asking what we are going to do with them. You should ask your Mom & Dad to check if it is okay with the hospital for me to bring you a big bag of stuffed animals, that way you can share them with all your new friends there. That way, when you introduce yourself to a new friend, you can give them an animal. I think everyone likes stuffed animals don't they??
Do you like stuffed animals??
They are soft and cuddly, and fun to hold tight when you go to sleep at night. I hope to hear from you soon!!
I will definately write back to you soon!! so hang tough and be a good boy!!

P.S. You tell your Mom & Dad they need to play too!! So they should call me anytime they want to play some cards or just want to hang out!!

Hi Noah,

Just some more positive thoughts from right here in Scottsdale from another friend of your folks -- Donna Koons, Mom of Todd Koons. I remember meeting you at a pool party at Todd and Cristina's house. Guess that was another germ-sharing time. It does us all good to be more aware of how easy it is to share germs and organisms. Please tell your Auntie when she arrives this week that your web-site is awesome!!

I'd offer to help with research from our medical library at my work, but sounds like everyone is quite on top of the very latest. Again -- lots of the very best of thoughts to you and yours!!

Noah, you don't know me but I have worked with your dad for many years. My thougths are with you and your family. I know you will be strong through this even though this is something you would have never expected. Life is full off challenges and it is your strength end determination that get's you through them. Surround yourself with happiness. I'm from Cleveland so I'm a Browns, Indians and Cavaliers (LeBron James) fan but since the Phoenix teams are in different leagues I guess it's o.k. to root for them.

Hi Noah,

Eli, Amelia and Robin here, saying "hakuna mattata" which means "wear only what's comfy".

It's pretty cool that you have a whole Web site-so we can talk. Man-my Dad is lame!

We were reading what you like. We really like Spider Man, Pokemon, Power Rangers, Yu Gi Oh, and Lego Bionicles too, and would like to play with you whenever you can.

I wonder what kind of Bionicle you could create by combining different sets? Have you ever tried that? I bet we could each make our own special creatures to show each other.

I hope we see you soon. And, remember that your friends are always here whenever you need them. Maybe-we can plan a "kids" group-trip to see the Phoenix Suns or Arizona Diamondbacks together-it's just spring training.

Well, we're surely not the only people for such a cosmopolitain guy-so before we become tiring. Bye!

We love you and are praying for you everyday.

My son has Neuroblastoma Stage 4, he will be 5 in April. He was diagnosed in Aug 2003, and had a large tumour, crushing his kidney, and around his aorta.
Luckily he is now NED, and at school. There are loads of brave kids who have fought this beast, and I'm sure Noah will too.

Hi Noah!!

I haven't seen you since you were a little baby when your parents came to Tahoe with a lot of other family members from your mom's family. Your Auntie Brigit and I are the same age and we grew up playing together while your mom and Uncle Brian hung out with the older cousins. Your Uncle Kevin would come play with us (and my brother, Stephen) too.

I'm so proud of you and how brave you are! I can only imagine how much fun you have dressing up like a superhero. My brother had Superman and Batman pajamas when we were growing up and he loved running around the house with his cape on defeating bad guys.

Your mom and dad and sister love you so much, Noah. Your cousins and aunts and uncles and Grandma Kathy all love you very much. I will keep praying for you and I know that you are just going to continue smiling and bringing so much joy to your house. Love and HUGS!!!

Dear Noah:

I am 5 months and 2 weeks pregnant and just like you, it is going to be a little boy!!

Rick and I are so excited about having a little boy and we hope that our little boy is as sweet, smart, and caring as you are. We feel so blessed with this gift as you are a gift to this world. Maybe when our little boy (Jack) gets older you can teach him all the cool things you do so well.

While Rick and I have not had the wonderful opportunity to meet you yet, we have heard so many wonderful stories about you through your Auntie Brigit. She has told us how smart you are, how you are such a good brother to your sister, and most of all how you make everyone laugh and smile. We also been told what a strong and determinded kid you are. So, if somedays seem kind of yuckie and you just don't feel motivated, remember to use the superpower strength you have to make it through the day.

We send you all our love!!

Hey Noah!

I work with your Grandma Kathy and she is so proud of you. Since you like Spiderman & Power Rangers, you know that super heroes sometimes have to go through tough challenges to win - that is what makes them super heroes! Walking and exercising when it hurts is a tough challenge - it takes super hero strength - but I know you can do it! Think about Spidy and the Power Rangers whenever it hurts and know that you are fighting the good fight - and you will win!

Hang tough Noah!

Hello sweet Noah,
From the day you were born all I heard from grandma, Kathy, was how wonderful you were. From the day we first met you WE AGREED.
Remember the day we came to your house with grandpa, Joe and me and i brought you Green Kitty? You loved your new kitty, taking him for rides in your wagon and treating him like he was your responsibility. He moved around the yard, wiggling like a real kitty...we all laughed at the wonder of your belief. Now, that ability to believe is really important for you and all of us who love you.
We believe this is a stepping stone you have to skip over to be able to continue in your life's journey. It will be such a journey, filled love, laughter, health, vacations, holidays, school, sports (specially golf), fun times with your cousins and specially with Sarah. Sarah thinks you're the "cats Pajamas" so don't ever let her down.
I want to write notes to you while you go through this sick time to let you know we love you and have all the people we know praying for you and your family.
Next time you come up to visit your grandma's house I can bring Cayden over for a play time OR maybe, now that you are both big boys we can go to play Pee Wee golf.

Lara&Andy.....we are here and praying. We love you, always have, always will. Pat and Joe
P.S. I "get" the Starbucks thing. :-)

Hi Noah,

My name is Marc.

Believe it or not your Mommy, Uncle Brian, Auntie Brigit, and Uncle Kevin and I grew up together as kids back in Fairfax, which is in Marin County, CA, where your Grandma Kathy lives now.

My wife, Ruth, and I have a little girl of our own. Her name is Korilyn, and like you, she's four and she LOVES Target and Starbucks, so you two definitely have something in common!!!

Anyway, though we know that things are hard for you and your family right now, we wanted to let you know that though we haven't met yet, we're keeping you and your welfare in our minds as you work hard to get better. We know it may be awhile before you're ready, but hopefully sometime soon, when you're feeling better, and you and your Mommy and Daddy and Sister come out to visit Grandma Kathy in California, we'll get the chance to meet. Ruth and I know Kori would love to play with you sometime when you're up to it.

Until then. Be a good boy. Do what your Mommy and Daddy and your Doctors tell you to do so you can get better, and remember that there are a lot of people thinking about you and how special you are right now.

- Marc (Ruth & Korilyn) Fevre

We will offer them for a donation of min. $10 and money will go to the Neuroblastoma Foundation as requested by Lara. If you're interested, please send me an email.
