Our sweet little angel: I was so glad to hear from your mommy when you got out of surgery. I kept calling and she would say you were still in there. Mommy probably thought I was being a pain. But I was almost getting sick to my tummy worrying about you. I am praying now that the test all come out clean. It is going to be a rough healing time, but our precious little girl will be strong and get through all of this. Boy, I am just going to have to spoil you lots when I come see you. You hang in there okay? Tell Mommy and Daddy that they better be trying to relax and get some rest also. God bless you all. I love you guys!!!

Hi Isabella and Mom and Dad!
I just read Isabella's story (it's 8 a.m.) Monday morning (5-2). Isabella will be going into surgery at 8:30 and my prayers will be with her. Elena, our daughter, had Neuroblastoma, stage IV, 11 years ago. She was given very little chance of survival. The tumor was on the kidney, but had spread to numerous sites. The chemo did not shrink the tumor as much as expected; but the surgery was successful and the tumor was removed. Yesterday Elena sang with the Chicago Children's Choir at the Cancer Survivor Memorial Park at Millenium Park at a "Y Me Candlelight Vigil". Isabella will be well and thriving and our prayers are with her.

Hi Michelle, I was so glad to hear that Isabella's surgery is tomorrow. I know it is weird that I have never actually met you but I cried because I could almost feel the relief that you must be feeling. I hope that everyone would join me tomorrow to pray at 8:45am Arizona time. I think it will be amazing to have everyone praying at the same time tomorrow all over the country for a little girl some of us haven't even met. We should pray not only for Isabella to make it through this surgery but also for the surgeons who are performing it.

Although I've only met you once in person when you were just a tiny baby, I've watched you grow through the pictures that your mommy and daddy send me. I see a lot of courage and strength in your eyes and I know that you will get through this because you are blessed with many people that love you and care about you.
You've had to endure so much in these last few months but you are a fighter and you will beat this! You are growing into a beautiful little lady and you are so full of life and happiness...despite everything you're going through. Seeing you, this little warrior, keep going strong gives us all hope for the future.
Isabella, I want to wish you a VERY HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY!!!!!! May GOD bless you and keep you safe always. David and Michelle, keep your heads up and continue to be strong for your Bella. You are all in my prayers. I love you guys :)

To Isabella & family; most of the battles of life are won by looking beyond the clouds to the sun (SON). One thing that never changes is God truly loves His children and He will never forsake them...never! Jeremiah 29:11 says; "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future". God bless you babygirl, in the name of Jesus; may His grace and glory be a shield around you always.

What an adorable little girl and what a challenge for such a young life.
I pray that God will heal little Isabella's body and that He'll give the doctors continued wisdom in how best to treat her. Also for strength and comfort for the family as they continue through this struggle. Perhaps by her third birthday she'll have this all behind her and be on her way to a "normal" life.

Isabella and Family -

Wishing you strength, with a reminder to hold loved ones tight and find reasons to smile, and laugh, and take notice of joy whenever it comes your way! (And it is coming, always coming, even if its hard to recognize at times.)

I can't say I know too much about neuroblastomas, but I have faced a doctor telling me I had cancer, I've waited through batteries of tests, and waded through treatments, and the bad days, and the good days. I am now "cured" - I know I'm one of the lucky ones, but there are more and more of us every day! You are not alone.

I will keep you each and all in my thoughts and prayers. Peace.

Hi all: First I would like to say that Daddy's B-Day was a pretty hard day, but we all pulled through. Second, my sweet Ugarte family, please do not ever give up on faith for little Isabella. She is a very strong girl and will pull through this just fine. God and Grandpa are with her every moment helping her be strong. I am counting the days to come see you all!! I love and miss you so much.

Hi Michelle:

My dad's birthday would have been Monday. He would have been 65, he passed away almost 2 years ago, before Kendall was diagnosed. I'm so sorry. I also blocked a lot of this during treatment as I focused on Kendall, but it seems like now things are coming back. My prayers are with you. I hope that those infections are brought under control soon.

You ARE amazing! It DOES take a lot of inner strength and prayer to endure what you are going through. With what Isabella is going through, only folks who have experienced or are experiencing similar trials would know how trying it is and how much of your life it takes up, emotionally and physically. AND you still have to go to work, do your daily stuff, etc. Well, some good news is that you three are finally in your new house! :0) I will include continue to keep you three in my prayers. To you two, Mikala and David, please stay strong together, for yourselves and Isabella, and GOD BLESS.
Love, Harriet :0)

Heya Guys,

It was great hearing from you the other night, I hope that the Easter Bunny left lots and lots of SUGAR for you all to eat! With the new season having arrived, remember to think that new things will be happening. Think of it like, the cold dark nasties of winter fading, and as they do, so will that NB. And love, hope and health will continue to grow just like the new flowers and grass do in springtime. Remember to keep your spirits up and count on things getting better, cause they will. Take care of you!

Love, Sandy

Hi Isabella you are so very adorable. I email your mom and my son Nate has NB too. You will have good days and bad but just remember to keep on fighting. You and your parents will find strength you didn't even know you had. Take time to notice the small things like a fun day with your mom and dad or the way cookies smell when there baking. Cherish every moment and keep smiling. You are in our thoughts often and we will keep checking back.

Please give Isabella a hug and kiss for me. Let her know that her Aunt Amanda loves her dearly and that her grandfather is caring for her now to assure she gets well. Only dad can see what the future holds, we can not, so trust in him and he will protect your daughter and all our families for years to come.

Michelle and Family,

I was very saddened to hear the trials that your family (and beautiful baby girl) face right now. I could not help but think of my own baby who is just a little older than Bella, and could only imagine your pain.

Now would be a great time for a miracle. Guess what? They still happen! I (as well as many of my friends) are praying for your family and the health of your baby. I know of many testimonies of God's healing power, and I believe He's going to give you a testimony of your own, so that you will experience first hand, His goodness, His love, and His healing power.

Michelle, David and Bella: I just found out what you have been going through. And I only wish you weren't, but I want to remind you that God is in control. HE REALLY IS. And he is with you through this, and he can turn ALL things around for the good. Michelle, stay strong. GET in the word of God. ONLY HE can help you and Bella and David. Read Psalms 46. It is exactly what God is to ALL people, great and small, mom or dad or baby. God is the same, today, tomorrow and forever, and he loves you all so much, that he died so you can live. Call on him. and lean on him. And please if you ever want to talk please call me. I would love to talk to you. I am gonna storm heaven for you. Strength and peace and supernatural miracles are being requested right now as we speak. For God, nothing is to big. But we do need to ask. Be encouraged, and know that HE IS GOD. I love you, and I wish you every bit of happiness that only the lord can give. Pray together, it's amazing what happens when a family prays together daily. And you hug that beautiful Bella for me please.

Hi Isabella,

What a beautiful little lady you are! I wish you the very best as you begin your chemotherapy. The hardest days are the very first ones, as you and your family and medical team get to know what works best for you. After that, you'll feel better because it will help make you well. I know this because my son, Chris, has successfully fought off neuroblastoma for the past 5 1/2 years. Take care and most importantly, have fun and play! It'll make you and your family feel good.

You are touching the lives of many and our hearts ache for you. If only we could take some of your heart felt pain away. We can't. So we all pray and hold you close in our hearts.
