Psalms 5:1-3 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Psalms 40:1-4 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalms 46:1-5 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. II Corinthians 12:8-10 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Please know that I am thinking about you all during this holday season. I would like to share this special prayer with you.

Dear Father who art in Heaven...
Please join our family on this Thanksgiving day
And bless each one as we sit down to pray
As we remember those who have joined You above
So dearly missed and deeply loved.

Please provide us strength on this Thanksgiving day
Bless us with memories of those faraway...
Please grant patience to family and friends as we grieve
And help us reach out to others who are bereaved.

We give thanks to You on this Thanksgiving day....
For Your presence in our lives each and everyday.
For Your comfort, guidance, and never ending love...
And for taking care of our loved ones...in Heaven above.

As we light this candle on this Thanksgiving day...
And it glows in memory of those in Heaven today....
May their lights always shine down on us and give us light...
And may we feel their presence along with Yours tonight.

May the peace and tranquility of this Thanksgiving day
Be an everlasting light within each of us along the way...
Lets bow our heads and give our Thanks to God above..
For our blessings, whether on earth or in Heaven above...
Amen

Know that I'm always here praying!
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

1 John 1:1-4 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

1. I fall asleep in Jesus' wounds,
There pardon for my sins abounds;
Yea, Jesus' blood and righteousness
My jewels are, my glorious dress.
In these before my God I'll stand
When I shall reach the heavenly land.

2. With peace and joy I now depart;
God's child I am with all my heart.
I thank thee, Death, thou leadest me
To that true life where I would be.
So cleansed by Christ, I fear not death.

Beautiful Lacey,

A birthday is a special day
to celebrate your birth.
It is the day that years ago
an angel came to Earth!

How can it be that you're twelve?
It seems like yesterday
you were the smallest angel
so happily at play!

The years cascade in happy ways...
your birthday brings bright smiles
as Heaven sings her brightest songs
and sends love 'cross the miles.

Revelation 21:1-4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Beautiful Lacey Mae, today is Monday, February 2, this is a
very special day for us to remember you, sweet one. Your
legacy of love, kindness, sense of humor and girly-ness
lives forever in our hears.

I love you, little ^^friend.^^

Precious Lacey Mae,
God looked around his garden,
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest;
God's garden must be beautiful-
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain;
He knew you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And hills were hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered,
"Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For a part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

A brand new year stands before us. Sometimes a new year is very hard to face. Other times a new year is welcomed with open arms, with hopes that it will be better than the last one was. However you look at it, know that every day of this new year is in the Lord's Hands. He's already there waiting for you with open arms. And I'm here praying as always.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

An AWR Thought for June:

“. . .In this, the season of steady rebirth,
we awaken to the power so abundant, so holy,
that returns each year through earth and sky.

We will find our hearts again, and our good spirits.
We will love, and believe, and give and wonder,
and feel again the eternal powers. . . .”

The Golden Thread

Love is a golden thread
That links us one and all.
We heard it our mother’s voice
Whenever she would call.

We felt it in our father’s touch.
His strength made use secure.
We feel it still in daily life;
It helps us to endure.

This never-ending golden thread
Is love personified.
It banishes all doubt and fear
When we are by God’s side.

For it is His love we’re feeling—
His love for you and me,
All woven in and through out life;
A golden tapestry!

We were in San Antonio, on February 28, 2008 for Jordan's yearly transplant appointment and we went up to the transplant floor and when I went past the room that I saw Lacey in that year, all I could see was her smiling face. She was such an inspiration to me.

Jordan got a good report but we also got some bad news. Dr. Wall is leaving at the end May going back to her home "Canada". She has us scheduled to meet with a new doctor at UAMS that studies nothing but JMML. She assured me that she would still be covering Jordan's progress and if we had any concerns to call her.

My heart just aches for loosing Dr. Wall.

Just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and Lacey Mae everyday.

May the Lord bless you with many many wonderful memories of Lacey Mae.

We little knew that morning that God was going to all your name,

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

And I think of her having picnics of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with Jesus. I agree with your husband - it sure is not fair she is not with you. Psalms 116:1-5 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Sorry I've been away from the computer for a few days. Still been praying but wanted to share such special verses that remind us all that much more importantly the Holy Spirit Himself is praying for each of us perfectly according to His Will.
Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

A New Year’s Prayer
May God make your year a happy one!
Not by shielding you from all sorrows and pain,
But by strengthening you to bear it, as it comes;
Not by making your path easy,
But by making you sturdy to travel any path;
Not by taking hardships from you,
But by taking fear from your heart;
Not by granting you unbroken sunshine,
But by keeping your face bright, even in the shadows;
Not by making your life always pleasant,
But by showing you when people and their causes need you most,
and by making you anxious to be there to help.
God’s love, peace, hope and joy to you for the year ahead.
Numbers 6:24-26

25 the LORD make his face shine upon you

26 the LORD turn his face toward you

Love to You
By: Anonymous

I've nothing else to offer,
So, to you, it's love I'll send.
It's nothing that I borrowed.
And it's nothing that I'd lend

It has no dollar value,
And it can't be overused;
It isn't fragile, so it can't break,
Though, often, it's abused.

I've given it to others,
But each time it's unique.
It's meaning's always different;
It depends on what you seek.

It's something you can store away
To feel when you're in need,
But never is it on display;
It's beauty can't be seen.

I'm giving it "no strings attached",
No costly warranty.
This love that I am sending

What a blessing to know that the Holy Spirit is praying perfectly whatever the need!

HE ONLY TOOK MY HAND
Last night while I was trying to sleep,
My daughter's voice I did hear
I opened my eyes and looked around
But she did not appear.
She said "Mom you've got to listen,
You've got to understand
God didn't take me from you, Mom
He only took my hand
When I called out in pain that night,
The instant that I died,
He reached down and took my hand,
And pulled me to his side.
He pulled me up and saved me
From the misery and pain
My body was hurt so badly inside,
I could never be the same.
My search is really over now,
I've found happiness within,
All the answers to my empty dreams
And all that might have been.
I love you and miss you so,
And I'll always be nearby.
My body's gone forever,
But my spirit will never die!
And so, you must go on now,
Live one day at a time.
Just understand-
God did not take me from you,
He only took my hand.

An Angel’s Kiss
by: Peggy Bouse

We go through life so often,
Not stopping to enjoy the day.
And we take each one for granted,
As we travel on our way.

For in your pain and sorrow,
An Angel's kiss will help you through,
This kiss is very private,
For it is meant for only you.
We never stop to measure,
Anything we just might miss.
But if the wind should blow by softly,
You'll feel an Angel's kiss.

A kiss that is sent from heaven,
A kiss from up above.
A kiss that is very special,
From someone that you love.
So when, your hearts are heavy,
And filled with tears and pain.
And no one can console you,
Remember once again...

About the ones you grieve for,
Because you sadly miss.
And the gentle breeze you took for granted,
Was just an Angel's kiss.

Sharing a special psalm of thanksgiving. Saying extra prayers are you face Thanksgiving without Lacey Mae .
Psalms 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

An Angel kissed my tears away
today when I was sad
I wasn't feeling quite myself
my day had been so bad.

I felt a warmth brush by me
that quickly dried my tears
A gentle, kind, and loving touch
that seemed to hold me near.

Immediately, I felt so much better
and the day seemed brighter too
I guess that's just the way you feel
when an Angel comforts you.

Hey Chelli, Just wanted you to know we are thinking about you. Logan has been asking so many questions about Lacey. We went to Lowe's and there was a Tinker Bell to hang on a tree and he thought about Lacey. He had to buy it for when we put up our Christmas tree.(in memory of Lil Lacey) Just know that we think about you all daily and miss you all very much. We will have to get together and visit before long. Hug those boys for me... Christy

Chelli,
Hi! My name is Paula, I am a CT tech at ACH. My daughter, Chelle, received her heavenly healing 7/3/99. I did not know about caring bridge when she was ill, but have followed many of the children that I have scanned and others that their sites have lead me to over the last few years. My husband and I are both pastors and we have been working on sermoms about heaven, I wanted to ask your permission to use some of your journal entries about Lacey's glimpse's in to heaven, if you would not mind. Her words and visions are some of the most comforting that I have ever read. You are so Blessed to have been given the chance to see where she would be through her eyes. Thank you so much for sharing your heart and her journey with us.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

May the angels keep you till morning.
May they guide you through the night.
May they comfort all your sorrows.
May they help you win the fight.

May they keep watch on your soul.
May they show you better ways.
May they guard you while you're sleeping.
May they see you through your days.

May they show you new hopes.
May they still your every doubt.
May they calm your every fear.
May they hear you when you shout.

May the angels keep you till morning.
More than this I cannot pray.
And if the angels ever fail you.
Then may God be there that day.

Tiny Angel rest your wings
sit with me for awhile.
How I long to hold your hand,
And see your tender smile.
Tiny Angel, look at me,
I want this image clear...
That I will forget your precious face
Is my biggest fear.
Tiny Angel can you tell me,
Why you have gone away?
You weren't here for very long...
Why is it, you couldn't stay?
Tiny Angel shook her head,
"These things I do not know...
But I do know that you love me,

Today's passage is longer because I wanted to include the whole sentence. Know that I'm here continuing to pray for your family!
Ephesians 3:14-19 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

As we enter the Lenten Season today I thought I'd share a passage from Isaiah that really speaks of what this time of year is all about. Am still here praying!!!!!!!!!
Is 53:3-6: He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Its been a year, but seems like yesterday. My heart hurts cause I just can't see you now.I know that you are free of pain and having fun. I had a dream the other night. You talked to me and told me that you are fine and can see us all the time. I know that it was a dream, but it sure was so real to me. Maybe that was God way of letting me know you are just fine. In my dream you were so pretty, like you always were. That smile that just made me melt. I miss that so much. I know that there will be a time that I will see you again.I look up to heaven and smile hoping that you can see me and read my lips telling you that I love you. You are such a special little girl. God made you a angel and gave you your wings,so fly and have fun. Love you LA LA. The snow was great, I knew you did it just to let us know you are still here with us.

Chelli,
I haven't been on this site in a very, very long time. I'm figuring you'll check it daily for a couple of days or maybe you'll wait for a while then check it. I've thought and thought about what I could do for you but is seems like God just keeps saying to remind you that He's here with us. I'm praying for you. I love you. We'll see her soon God's timing is perfect and His plan and purpose for our lives far excede any that we could have come up with.
I wish I could spend the day with you tomorrow but with school and basketball I can't. You could come down here with me though (hint, hint). You could grades some papers and watch a really great game which we of course are going to win.

Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. Mt.1:18-21: Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

I know that people throw this verse around all the time without really thinking about what it means. It isn't just some platitude, some collection of meaningless words. It's an amazing promise from your Savior that He's actively working in your life!

Will be thinking of you tomorrow on Thanksgiving- thankful that I was lucky enough to know your amazing little girl, and thankful that you allowed me to know you too. May tomorrow bring you moments of fun and family- even without sweet Lacey Mae. I know she will be with you in your heart, and will comfort you during some of the painful times over the holidays. All my love and frienship- you know I'm here as you need me- or just to talk about sweet, sweet Lacey Mae.

Sweet Chelli,
You are heavy on my heart today. I'm praying that you can find some blessings this Thanksgiving in the midst of your sadness.
A friend mentioned yesterday that they were having snow and of course I thought of your sweet girl. I told you, snow will always have a deeper meaning for me now. I've always loved snow...now that I know your angel has a hand in it, I love it even more.
I see where Laurie mentioned a service in your gb. I guess there was a remembrance service, maybe at ACH? She is right, you and Lacey Mae are definitely remembered.
I must admit I've been a terrible friend to our dear Laurie. I stepped back to give her her space and just never was sure how to step back in. Please join me in praying about this, because I have been so upset about it. Often I wake at my old "Dakota power prayer time" and just can't go back to sleep, and it is thoughts of Laurie Sims that occupy my brain more than anything. Maybe that's when she is awake thinking of her Caleb. I dial her number at least once a week and then hang up before it connects because I just don't know how to bridge that gap that I allowed to form. Oh that I could rewind time...I'd do a lot of things differently--ahh, but wouldn't we all.
Well, I didn't mean to ramble so. I do want you to know that your name is on my lips often, especially as the holidays are upon us. God hasn't told me to hush yet, so I'll just keep talking to Him
about you and your famly, okay?
Love you girl.
Hold fast and keep the faith.

Last year at this time, we were both in San antonio. I can not believe it has been that long. It was such a joy to see Lacey. As I try to get everything ready for our trip back to Texas, I can not help but have Lacey on my mind and in my heart. She was such an inspiration to us all and even though I never really truly got to know her, she inspired me and helped my strength in the Lord be stronger just by sharing with us the visions of heaven that were given to her. We were in florida on Jordan's make a wish the weekend it started snowing here in arkansas, I told my husband that Lacey was in heaven and letting her family now how much she was enjoying it by pouring all the snow down on her family back at home. I wish I could turn back time and give you more time with Lacey. You and your family are in my thoughts, prayers and hearts. Please keep Jordan in your prayers during our time in Texas. May the Lord bless you with a wonderful day and many many wonderful sweet dreams of Lacey at night.

I'm sorry I don't stop by very often. The folder containing the links for those who've lost loved ones is growing way too big, way too fast. It gets harder and harder to go to each site. But I have to let you know that your family is still in my thoughts and prayers so very much!
I've been sharing several verses of Psalm 23 on other CB sites today, but think I'll share the whole thing with you. I pray that it will bring you comfort as you read the well known words:

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Dear Chelli,
It's been some time since I sat down to jot a note to you to let you know we haven't forgotten you or the pain you are feeling. Both of us have experienced the same feelings of losing a child. Sometimes I think of it as a chance God gives us to prove our love and trust in him. If we can bare the hurt He felt when Jesus was crucified for our sins then we should feel blessed that He chose us. When we feel our pain we think of His pain and know that it was so much more difficult than ours. Keep up the Faith and God will see you through. Each day will bring you closer to Him. Take care and know that we care and love you all. Aunt Cecilia & Uncle Alvin

Dear chelli
Lacey was such an inspiration to so many of us. With the wonderful stories that she shared near the end of her journey here on earth, she taught me to just keep believing and continue my faith in the Lord and what a reward we will have when we get to heaven. I actually got Jordan and Jarrod a little pool last weekend and I thought about Lacey as I was putting it up. I remembered how you would talk about her love for the swimming pool. There are so many little things that remind me of her or something I read from your entries that remind me so very much. Hi Chelli, So happy to see how much Lacey's team raised in your Relay for Life. Melissa Anne (our 5 1/2 year old great-granddaughter) and I will be walking the survivors lap On June 9. She passed her 3 year post stem cell transplant on April 10 and remains in good health. I am 3 1/2 years post surgery and doing well. I am also walking with our Church's team. Melissa and I have made luminaries in memory of Lacey Mae and the other children who became Angels this year and in honor of Melissa and all the little people which are such good fighters!!! We praise the Lord each day and often think of you and your family and keep you in our Prayers.
Dear Chelli and family
It was good to see you Friday, at the Relay for Life. I wanted to come and talk to you but by the time I got to you, Lacey's team was already walking their lap. I think of Lacey often, little things such as seeing princesses or cabbage patch dolls makes me think of her. If there is every anything I can do, please let me know. I work at Speedy Burger at night, so please do not hesitate.

I hope your day brings you joy and happiness

LETTING YOU KNOW THAT YOUR THOUGHT OF ON MOTHER'S DAY.KEEPING YOU IN MY THOUGHTS AND IN MY PRAYER'S ALWAYS.

A Mother's Day Wish From Heaven

Dear Mr. Hallmark,

I am writing to you from heaven, and though it must appear
A rather strange idea, I see everything from here.
I just popped in to visit, your stores to find a card
A card of love for my mother, as this day for her is hard.

There must be some mistake I thought, every card you could imagine
Except I could not find a card, from a child who lives in heaven.
She is still a mother too, no matter where I reside
I had to leave, she understands, but oh the tears she’s cried.

I thought that if I wrote you, that you would come to know
That though I live in heaven now, I still love my mother so.
She talks with me, and dreams with me; we still share laughter too,
Memories our way of speaking now, would you see what you could do?

My mother carries me in her heart, her tears she hides from sight.
She writes poems to honor me, sometimes far into the night
She plants flowers in my garden, there my living memory dwells
She writes to other grieving parents, trying to ease their pain as well.

So you see Mr. Hallmark, though I no longer live on earth
I must find a way, to remind her of her wondrous worth
She needs to be honored, and remembered too
Just as the children of earth will do.

Thank you Mr. Hallmark, I know you’ll do your best
I have done all I can do; to you I’ll leave the rest.
Find a way to tell her, how much she means to me
Until I can do it for myself, when she joins me in eternity.a

I remember the first Mother's Day that caused pain instead of joy. Mother's Day will never be the same for you. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you especially today as you see others celebrating while there's a hole in your heart!
Isa 49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
