Courage:

You don't know me, but I know of you and your family. Your Grandparents Henry and Regina are very special to me. In the early 1980's I became a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where your grandparents were also members. They were so kind to me as a single young man that had just lost his dad in a tractor accident. I remember your granddad telling me about your diagnosis and asking me to pray for you and your family. I continue to pray for you and your family and perhaps someday I will have the opportunity to meet you.

It's been a while since I checked your site. You might remember me as I came to work on your Dad's computer a long time ago. I have another friend who has a Caring Bridge site and it made me think to go back and check yours as well. She had some very good news today with her tests from some recent treatments at a hospital in Houston Texas and so God is answering prayers for her right now. From the looks of your journal entries, you are doing quite well yourself. I couldn't find a picture of your dog, Sadie, but we have a Sadie too! So I guess you could say we have twin dogs? I am so glad to see the pictures of you, especially the recent ones where you are just growing into a beautiful young woman. Hope things continue to move in a positive direction. So glad to see the update. I check on Scarlett at least 3 times a week and I know no recnet update means everything is going smoothly. So in a good way, no update is great news because I know you would post if she was not doing well. Then there are those of us who just love to read about her everyday "stuff."
Hopefully you all will be going to Family camp at Camp SAM in May. Then I will get to hug precious Scarlett's neck.

Oh Lana, I cannot imagine the every day fears you live with! I hope Scarlett's head feels better soon. Yes, I check this website frequently for updates on your angel. We still pray daily for her good health! Scarlett will always be a part of my life, my prayers, my thoughts as will all of "our" little angels in this community. Taylor said she wished we had gotten snow like you guys. We got a very tiny bit earlier in the week, but not enough to really stick on the ground. Sure was pretty falling though. We look forward to seeing you next Monday. Taylor has to be at CH at 9:30, then her nephew has to be in clinic 1 at 1:00. Needless to say we will be there most of the day. Hey My name is katie. I was diagnosed with A.L.L. Lukiemia in Nov. 2006 at childrens hospital. I saw you on that spots and dots commercial you are a pretty good Actress. I guess you finished your chemo around the time I was diagnosed.

Lana, thanks for coming up to see us while we WAITED for Taylor's surgery. The "kitty" went with her to surgery and they both came out doing great. Although, kitty did not get a popsicle like Taylor. And yes she told them her friend got to have one as she was going to the room, so Taylor came out kitty on one side and popsicle in hand.
