Jodie and family! I have searched and searched for your caringbridge page, and finally found it today. I am SO happy to hear that you are doing well, considering all you and your family has been through. It has been many years since we've spoken. Perhaps we can get caught up over e-mail? Hey Matt and Jodie--
It's Mary Baker, your old pal from Seattle, then Minneapolis and now Vermillion, South Dakota! I'm trying to remember if I ever wrote on your guestbook page before. I've had this page bookmarked for a couple of years, and check it periodically for updates on Jodie and the family. I was surprised to hear of your move to Texas last fall, and I remember Jodie saying how nervous the girls were to start at their new school. Man, how time flies and how they've GROWN! I'm THRILLED to hear Jodie is doing so well. Sometimes I wonder how you guys managed those years in Alaska when she was so ill. I quit working at AT&T in the Spring of 2005 to return to school, and just got started in medical school this fall at the University of South Dakota. I never thought I'd be here, but issues with my own health, as well as that of my parents and siblings and friends like you guys has prompted me to pursue it(!). I'm amidst about 50-55 students, all 20-25 years old. The studies are really tough, but these kids are a blast. Can you believe Tanner is only a few years shy of college?!? Gosh. It's rare that I take time for fun on this PC, but I keep your site bookmarked as your journal entries are always so refreshing . . . thanks! I hope this finds all six of you doing well, and recovering from Ike! Send my regards to other Seattle people you may correspond with. I have Kevin and Tim's e-mail addresses, but no others . . . I miss them! Love to all in Texas--

Hi Jodie,
We have been thinking about you and your family. We are hoping all is well with you and everyone. I check this site often to see what you are all up too. As everyone else we are worried about you guys because of the storm. We miss you all more than you know. I feel completely out of touch, but want to change that. We love you all very much and wish we still had you living closer to us.
I love you Jodie.

Hi Matt, Jodi, and kids! I hope this finds you all doing well. We think of you all so often and keep you in our hearts and prayers. Julie told me you were leaving to Florida as to avoid the hurricane. I hope you and your belongings all made it safely through it all. Jerrick loves talking with Hayden - I apologize it doesn't happen your direction as often as we would like. Every time we look at the clock it is much to late to call. We miss you all, but I am happy the move has worked out for you all. HUGS AND LOVES to you all.

I still check in on you. I don't even remember how I found this blog but I have been checking for a while. I can understand wanting to move away from this at times. I will say that I use blogspot for our family and love it. I have noticed that some other families that were ready to separate from their illnesses sometimes start other blogs too. Anyway, hope recovery is quick from surgery.

I am so happy for all of you and give God the glory for where you are. I'm glad you're enjoying Texas even with the heat. We celebrated a new birth in our family last week. I updated the web site today as well. You both were very special to Rhonda and I and continue to be. I still hope to be able to meet in person one day. God bless.

Hi Matt, Jodie, and Family. We're so happy that you're doing well! We still check the website often to see if there are any new updates but we totally understand that life gets busy, and like you said, "Part of you wants to move past things and get on with living your lives." Glad to hear the kids have settled in and that the weather is wonderful. Our summer has been quite rainy and cool so we had to take a vacation to get a little sun. Hee Hee
Anyway, we just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that you're still thought of often and that you're still in our prayers! Have a great rest of the summer and a wonderful holiday season.
Take care,

Hi Clark family!
Jodie, I was so glad to hear you are doing better! It has been awhile since I have written in your journal. Houston is an amazing place as far as the medical community goes, but as far as bugs, rodents, and undesirable creatures I can't say I think much of Texas either. We would love to come and see a fellow Texan (via of Alaska)! Please send us an email and let us know how to get in touch with you!

Hello Clark Family -- It is so nice to be able to keep up on what is happening with the Clark family. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better, Jodie. We miss you!!
AJ got to come home for 10 days last month. He brought his "friend", Claudia, took her to the top of Alyeska and gave her an engagement ring!! They are planning to get married between deployments...date still to be determined. He's headed to Cuba next. Nils and Addison enjoyed a day of Golfing for Father's Day. She is keeping busy this summer - this week she is taking golf lessons.
We'll be in touch...

Hi Everyone!
Happy Mom's Day to Jodie. Just thinking of ya and enjoyed your update. The analogy of the carseat rings so true for me. I'm glad you found a doc your happy with. I've been through the whole medicine change thing... trying to figure out the right amount of certain things. I felt like an old lady the other day. Teegan and I were next to the sink in the kitchen... Me with my Sun. through Sat. plastic container of pills. Teeg took a sleeping pill and I was downing my own vitamins and pills... We jokingly laughed about our old people pill party. So the fatigue thing... I went to church today without taking my (awake) pills and was totally yawning through the whole thing. The teachers probably thought I was so rude. It is frustrating knowing how you once felt and trying to do whatever it takes to feel that way again. I'm sorry you've been struggling with depression... Hopefully you're feeling better. It was great to see your girls and Matt for Hazel's 90th. Your girls are so fun and cute! Talk to ya'all soon.

Aloha Matt and Jodie - Hey kids!!!
What a blast to hear your news. You will miss Alaska greatly but I know how it feels to stand back and watch the hand of the Lord work in your life. You are where you need to be. Curt is in Alaska right now with five of his Hawaii buddies. Six big guys in a seven passenger motor home. Boy will they have stories! They are fishing and playing and absolutely loving Alaska. The sad part was that you are not there. As far as Texas being like Hawaii - it's not. Your temperatures will fluctuate a lot more. Hotter and colder. We stay pretty temperate here. I think it took me two whole years to get used to the heat. The first year my new friends got tired of me saying "is it always this hot". Now I actually find that I get chilled in the morning. Our kids are growing up very fast. Yours have got to be also. Brian turns 16 tomorrow. He is driving if you can believe. We miss you and love you and know that the Lord is looking out for you. Keep in touch. Debbie

I hope that the nice, warm weather will bring a pleasant change from long johns and fur lined boots in the winter.
I lived in northern Wisconsin for 20 years and many times we had temps -20 and colder. I hope you are feeling well, Jodie and I will pray that the children will like their schools and make friends. It sounds like you will be within a day's drive to many old friends.

Wow Jodi you don't waste time. I had a dejuv reading your letter about being told to move that is why I am sitting in California and I still have the same question of the Lord why here? Anyway I hope all goes well. It is hard to leave so many people that you love but you will find more people to love. The experience you had with many of them won't ever be able to give you the kind of bond that you had but those memories and relationships you can cherish. My sister lives in Houston and she loves it. I think it is too hot and humid but the winters are great. Best of luck to you guys. My nephew spent 13 months in Del Rio and is now is San Antonio for another 3 months (training on the C-5). He said the good thing about both places is the river recreation. Last fall he & a bunch of guys on the base competed in a charity "mud run" in Fort Worth, military style obstacle course through mud! Galveston should be lovely, make sure your emergency supplies are always ready to throw in the car and heed the hurricane warnings.

Hello Jodie and Family! We have checked your website quite often over the last couple of months and figured that you must be busy with all of the summer activities. Turns out, you were busier than we thought. :O) Every time we've been out in the yard, we've looked for you to drive by or for the kids to be playing on the Tricycle, but we haven't seen any of you. :o( No wonder, you sneaky-peets up and moved. Hee Hee Anyway, we're very glad to hear that all is still going well for you Jodie, and hope that all of you will adjust quickly and have a wonderful time in this new chapter of your lives. You sure will be missed though and don't ever forget all the lives that you touched and are still touching here in great ole' Alaska! Please update when you can as we'll continue to keep in touch. May God continue to bless all of you and bring you many wonderful memories in Galveston, as well as hold the memories of your friends in AK., close to your hearts.

Your joyful attitude is a gift to those of us reading. Your life sounds busy with your children and doctors' visits, so we know that keeping the website updated is no easy task. Congrats on your new lease on life. I hope that the pain and consequences of your treatments fade, so that you can spend less time treating those conditions and more time doing the things you love. What an amazing journey! Donna

Hi Jodie, what a beautiful family photograph and entry. I love that you quoted Deuteronomy. I have another scripture from that book that means a lot to me: Deuteronomy 30:15-20

15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

17 But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, 18 I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.

19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

We are so blessed by your good news, and the glory it brings to God that you proclaim it as His work in you!! Choose life!

Love to you,

Jodie and Family--
Tears are streaming down my face as I read this. Roch and I have often asked each other if we have heard anything about how you are, but we hadn't heard any news. It wasn't something we just wanted to call people or Matt up to ask and only hear the worst. Carinne Gee forwarded us your website and only told us to check it....so I did so expecting the worst. I am so thrilled for you and to have this great affirmation of the goodness of the Lord. I remember standing outside of preschool that day four years ago, talking about the pain you were having in your back and how I suggested you try getting a massage....only to find out the reason for the pain was much more serious. Thanks for sharing your good news and your great testimony with all of us. Give our best to your family. I can't wait to tell my girls at breakfast this morning!

Hello All!

Gosh, it's been such a long time since we have written. My apologies! We think of you so often especially around x-mas and our shared dinners. We keep up with the web page and are glad to hear all is well. The girls are growing up so fast and are very busy with school. Paul is still doing the Boeing thing and really seems to enjoy his job. I just run around and try to keep everyone in line. Can't believe we have teenagers. Maggie is also 13. She will be going to Rome with the Catholic youth group in the late spring and is very excited. It's crazy when your kids are going to places you haven't been yet. Life has just been jugging along steady, I suppose there is nothing wrong with that. Give my love to all and if you make it back to WA. We'd love to see you. Lots of love, Maria and Paul

Hi Everyone!
Just been thinking about you guys... I noticed it's going to be Hayden's Birthday. How fun! I hope he has a great day. I bet it's gorgeous this time of year in Alaska. We'll Kell-Bell started preschool. It's so strange to see her ride off on a little bus. Every morning she watches me out the window as I wave bye to her. The first day was a little tough for both of us. However, her teacher sends little notes home saying how much she loves school. Anyway, hope you guys are enjoying the Holiday Season.

Jodie, I ran into Holly Kerr last weekend and she told me about you having cancer. She gave me this web site and I spent half the night reading about your last 3 years. I had no idea this was happening. I haven't kept in touch with anyone from Alaska. But I wanted you to know that I'm truly sorry that you and your family have had to go through these trials and I'm amazed at the strength you all have. You were my best friend and helped me through some tough times and I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you when you needed help. I hope you can forgive me for the way I acted and for the things I said. (I would like to say more, but not here for everyone to read. If you want to e-mail me back I'd like that). But I will add my prayers to all those others who are praying for your continued health and for your family. Love, Elise Donovan
P.S. I couldn't believe the pictures of your kids. They've grown so much and are so beautiful.

Hey guys,
It appears we just missed you by one week at Bear Lake. I like to imagine both families buying a raspberry shake and running into each other. It just makes me happy to consider it. We could have also run into you at Cove Fort it sounds like. We actually took Kim Portwood and her family there with us. They traveled all the way from South Dakota to Utah to see us at the tail end of our trip for about 3 days.

We are so very happy that you are doing great Jodie. As for feeling older...Brian started High School! Paige is in 2nd grade and I am looking at starting to work with Curt on his new venture. (Which by the way is going great). My babies are growing up way to fast but I am very pleased with how they are turning out. Something about the whole Alaska experience has forged a great depth to them. We all miss you guys and continue to pray for you often. Love ya all tons and tons. Debbie and Curt

Hi Matt and family,
We check your website quite frequently but we decided this time we needed to say hello. I'm still battling breast cancer but as both of you know it makes you stronger, grateful for the gospel and for a loving family. All of the girls are doing good - Michele has twin boys, Kari has a boy and two girls, Debbie has one boy and Jenny has a year old baby boy. We are so grateful to a loving Heavenly Father for extending your time together. You are an amazing family. Lots of love, The Merta's

Hey Jodie, I loved seeing the picture of the bike. I wish I could come over and take a spin on it. Good luck with Girl's Camp . . . I'm sure it will be a week these girls never forget. I've been telling you and Kim for years that you ought to figure out a way to market your creative talents!! I guess the Lord sees fit use you as He knows best. The hourly wages aren't great, but I hear his benefit package is amazing!
I miss you as much as ever and hope to talk to you soon. I'm sure your Utah trip is packed, but at least give me a call when you are here. Love you lots . . . I'm so glad to hear that you are doing so well. Tender mercies, tender mercies.

Dear Jodie,
Tonight was the fathers and sons campout so I decided to invite my girlfriends and their daughters to my house for a girl pamper party. It felt oh so Jodie-ish. We had a foot massager, parafin waxer, and a chair back massager. Everyone brought yummies to share and I made my homemade bread and fresh strawberry jam. The little girls painted each of their toenails in different colors with glitter on the top and when everyone left and Paige was asleep I watched "Rumor has it" by myself. It was the kind of party you would give. I miss you and wish you could have been here. Love ya lots. Debbie

Hi Jodie,it has been far too long since I sat down to send you a note. I'm glad to hear that you are perking up from the last few weeks. We are having a very Alaskan day today with a big windy snowstorm outside . . . it makes me homesick. We had a fun day yesterday (Easter) by having Sarah Holstein, Jamie Huffman, Cherise Peterson, and Emily Shwict (?) over for dinner, games, and talking. It was so fun to see all of them. I can't beleive that they were all my Miamaids a few years ago. Now Emily is engaged, Sarah is going on a mission and the other two are in the thick of college. Wow, time flies. Anyway, this is beocming much to long for a quick note. Just wanted you to know I was thinking about you!! I love you a miss you bunches.

Hi everyone!
Just a quick hello... I check your website often to get updates on Jodie and the family. I think of your guys so much and become humbled. I'm feeling good. However, a few weeks ago I was a little scared when walking was a little more of a struggle and I just felt weak in my legs and the numbness got worse. I was really nervous for what the future had in store for me. Almost a year of symtoms has gone by and still no diagnosis. Sorry I don't mean to spell out my whole life struggles. There was really a point to all of this but it's getting kind of late and my brain is not working Ha! Ha!
Take care,love you guys.

Hi guys. I am so glad you are doing so well Jodie. We continue to pray for you. We had the Forbes come and visit last weekend and we had a blast with them. It rained a lot while they were here but I think they were glad to thaw out a bit. I don't think I told you that Curt is in the Bishopric now. He has to donne a suit and tie whenever he goes over to the church. He's hot and miserable in it. Loves the group he's working with though. I am still with the YW. We need you here for Personal Progress. Our girls are fantastic. Kaylene and Lydia Forbes fit right in. Glad to hear that you see some improvement in Jodie, and that you are able to GET AROUND now...Our prayers are with you all. Katy's calls from down below remind me of Jodi's saying "pIDEr", when I tried to get her to pronounce spider correctly when we lived in Brighton.
I took Burke to the Dr. for a sore throat and I wound up in the hospital with Atrial-fibrilation. They have tried to stabilize me for two weeks but, they are sending me to a a cardiologist on the 28th. I got out of the hospital and refereed a BB game that night. I felt better and slept well that night. I'm feeling better on my new meds but it just keeps junping around. They made me cancel the rest of my games.
We are going to matt's wedding Sat. and then Burke has snowboarding lessons next week with the school program. He is playing AAU basketball til baseball starts.
I bought a new bed and just love it and how soft it is.
Love you all and pray for you each day,,

Hello Clarks,
I love the bedroom set. I have started painting out my dark green set into a cream color. I like it so much better in this small bedroom we have. Did you know I have a bad thyroid also. My Dr. says its completely burned out. I think the burning once kept me skinny. Just edgy though. So would I rather be skinny and ornery or plump and nice? So far plump is winning. I have been reading a couple of great books on Alaska and have become very homesick. One is called Artic Homestead and the other, my favorite is called One Mans Wilderness. I have noticed your fridged temperatures lately and I'll wait for summer to get too homesick. The kids are doing great and so am I. Curt on the other hand just doesn't have enough aches and pains. On a trip to Houston he decided to go horsebackriding. He now has 5 fractured vertebrae wings, you know the sides of your spine that stabilize your back. He is black and blue but we are glad he didn't get hurt any worse. Of course he had to fly home in that condition too. We think of you often and pray for your continued good health. Love Debbie and family

Jodie! Wow that is celestial furniture for sure! So WHITE! It's gorgeous, and you earned it baby. I check on the website and rarely leave a note, so decided to stop being a sponge and give something back!
We had a lesson in church today that reminded me of you- it was about having joy in our lives. As you so perfectly know, it doesn't come because of an easy path! It comes because sorrow and trials have hollowed out a place for joy to fill. I wish you joy today and everyday! I love you.

Sister Clark,
While it was a long time ago that you were our Beehive leader, I hope you still remember me! I've been married now for over a year to Taylor Brueseke so I'm no longer Amber Longhurst, but Amber Brueseke. I'm in the nursing program at BYU and will graduate in a year. I was actually doing my pediatrics rotation at Primary Children's Hospital in SLC and I took care of a 9 month old patient with neuroblastoma. I was reading about it and how it was basically a childhood disease. Then I remembered about you! I hadn't checked your website for awhile so I repented and read about the last couple of months. It sounds like things are going as well as they could. You are an inspiration to me - I can't believe how much joy you find in living life. I want you to know that you made a difference in my life when I was a Beehive, and you are making a difference in my life now as I read about your trials and blessings. Much love!

Hey Jodie, I LOVE THE FURNITURE!!!! I never did get a very good look at the set when we were there, but it is so cute. I think you would totally have picked that out for youself. I can't wait to see a picture of you and Matt on the bike, riding around the neighborhood.
I'm sorry to hear that you have not been feeling so great lately. I'll pray for that medicine to kick in quick and friendly (no side effects). I sure do miss you and wish that we could talk more often. I was just telling a lady about our old babysitting co-op and how great it was! It is hard to believe that Katie was probably about Megan's age when we started that. WOW.
I love you a ton -- I'll pray for warmer weather too.

I saw you on the Price is Right. I am so thankful that April Miller and Karly Vardaman had directed me to your website many months ago and I can follow your journey with you and pray for you everyday. You looked so wonderful on the show and your enthusiasm was so evident. I wanted you to go to the showcase show down, but hey, you did GREAT!!!! We were proud of you in Arkansas.

Jodie,
I taped TPIR yesterday and couldn't wait to get home last night to see you on it. You looked great and the excitement was overwhelming!! You did good, girl.....won all those wonderful prizes. I'm a friend of the Miller's and have kept up with you for quite some time now. You are truly an inspiration to so many people, Jodie. God has performed a miracle on you for all of us to see. Also, you have a gift of writing......honestly, you should write a book......you have such a God-given talent! I believe there's still alot ahead for Jodie Clark. We'll be seeing you on Oprah next.....ha!! I hope you and your family have a joyous Christmas as you celebrate the birth of our Savior. May God continue to bless you.

Jodie and Matt-
It was great to see both of you yesterday at the Peanut Farm. I loved seeing the excitement with Jodie and everyone in the room. Thanks for inviting people to share your joy. PS, I never knew Jodi could jump that high or hug Bob Barker the way she did! Thanks for the fun.

I was kicking myself yesterday when I got to work and realized I had forgotten to set the VCR to record TPIR. Imagine my surprise last night when my sweet husband said, oh, by the way, I set that show to tape for you. We both watched you last night and were cheering you on (even though we already knew you won)! You looked absolutely great, and your happiness, excitement, and enthusiam were contagious. (Of course, we already knew that!) Keep on smiling, Jodie! You are a ray of sunshine to everyone who knows you and to those of us who WISH we did.

Jodie,
We have never met, but I have followed your story for over a year now, having come across your site from a link on a relative's page. You and I are the same age, I also have four kids, and a husband who is in law enforcement, so I have sort of identified with you and feel a bit of a connection that keeps me checking up on you. I just wanted to tell you that I had marked my calendar to watch you on TPIR, but as luck would have it I injured my back at work on Saturday and showed up to work Monday in so much pain that my boss made me leave to go to the Dr. I was so upset that I was going to miss the show (which I intended to watch at work). Anyway, I got to the Dr, signed in, sat down, and what was on TV in the waiting room? TPIR! I got to see the show right up until after your spin on the big wheel before they called me in to see the DR. I guess I was just fated to get to see you and put a face and personality to the wonderful person I read about all the time. Have a blessed and joyous holiday season with your beautiful family.

I just couldn't wait for The Price is Right to come on today. Sorta like waiting to see an old friend. I'm sure that everyone that knows you felt that way. I agree with Holly about this being for a reason, so you can touch more lives. God works in mysterious ways and he is working his plan through you. I wish holiday cheer on your family and may this be the most blessed Christmas ever. By the way, you were a natural in front of those cameras. Could be the beginning of a new BARKERS BEAUTY. Take care!

Hey Jodie,
How fun it was to watch the Price is Right today and remember how much fun that day was. I actually got chills when the show started just remembering what it felt like in that room when they called your name. Did you notice that when they panned the audience on our side it would show you, then Kim and then . . . stop. Oh well, at least I knew that when you were looking out at the audience for help (not that you needed any) you were looking in my direction!
Thank you for such a beautiful journal entry. I can't help but think that the showing of the Price is Right is just a reason for somebody to get on your site and read that particular entry. I can't think of a better Christmas gift than to hear your words of beleif in miracles that come through prayer and faith in our Lord. You just keep on living this life -- you are just so darn good at it.

I love you - - Price is Right same time next year. I want the car!! HOLLY

A friend at work forwarded your site to me. My best friend has just had surgery for a brain tumor to remove all that could be removed, last Friday. We are in a small town and everyone knows Teri - everyone loves her and is blessed by her. Thank you for sharing your experiences with everyone. Knowledge and truth are so important. God's grace is the crown of it all. Bless you.

Jodie - I have to tell you that you are truly an inspiration to me. I love your attitude of "living to Live" rather than living to die! What a great way to look at life - you are so right in knowing that every day is a gift. Who knows what the future holds for any of us. I am praying that you have many more wonderful years with your family! I am also praying that I never forget reading the journal entry today and realizing how selfish my own thoughts are at times and of how I find myself gloomy during the holidays. You have truly been an inspiration to me. Thanks for sharing your heart and I, too, will be watching on Monday from Arkansas. Happy Holidays!

Dear Jodie,
Thank you for thinking of the Julians and mentioning them in your journel entry. Brian still struggles with his missing Rhonda. He stays busy with the children, work and church, but the quiet times are very lonely. I am thankful that he stays faithful and has not let his sadness turn to anger. We are excited about seeing you on "The Price is Right". I will be recording it as I will be at the hospital to get my port removed. I have finished my chemo and am preparing for radiation treatments. I had my pre radiation mammogram on the 8th and it was negative for recurrance. I don't have my C-T scan reports back, yet.
I'm so glad that you are "living" your life and know that God is not finished with you, yet. How good it is when we know that we are used of God.
Rhonda's father passed away on Thursday before Thanksgiving. Even tho he had been in poor health for awhile, this was a surprise. I know that he and Rhonda were celebrating together and so very happy to see each other. Rhonda was his baby and he had such sadness when she died.
Merry Christmas to all of you and may God continue to bless you in this next year as he has in years past.

Jodie,
What a blessing and inspiration you are! Thank you for sharing and allowing God to use you to remind each one of us how we should live each and every day to the fullest.

I'll be watching from SC on the 12th! Quick story - my dad was in the hospital and while I was sitting with him we watched The Price is Right. He was NAILING the guesses and I was so impressed! I kept telling him over and over - you need to go and be on the show! The sneak never told me it was the second airing of the show and he had seen the first airing just an hour earlier! Now whenever I watch TPIR, I think of him.

Merry Christmas and I pray this will be the most special time for each one in your family.

Again, thanks for sharing!

In His Love,

I loved the front page of the paper yesterday! Tom brought it to me and said "Who does this look like?" I said "It's Jodie!!!!" I hope you had as much fun as it looked like you were having. I made it out the door at 9:30. I guess I'm a little wimpy about getting up that early. Of course I missed the deals that I wanted. Oh well. Happy Thanksgiving! Love, Sarah

Hey Jodie-
I got the message from Lana that you were on the Price is Right. Congratulations!! That is such a riot. My in-laws live in So. Cal and I always say that I am going to go on that show so that I can pay off school loans!! The only problem is I don't have anything catchy for a shirt. One either needs to be really old, a student with a school T-shirt, military personnel, or a hottie with a big chest and a tiny t-shirt that says, "I love Bob." Seeing as how I am none of the above I think I would have to be satisfied just saying I got to see it taped!!! Anyway, a little about myself and where we are: I live in Houston now. My husband, Jared graduated from law school last year and one of our reasons for moving to Houston was to be close to family. (Lana lived in Dallas). Of course nine months after moving here, Lana moved to Atlanta--lame, huh. But we are happy for her and we love it here anyway. Chicago was great fun, too. We have three boys. Landon 5, Tyler 3, and Ethan 4mos. They are a lot of fun. They look just like each other. Which reminds me. When I got on your site I was reminded at how much my sisters and I look like you and do you remember how that one girl at SPS came up to me in the bathroom and asked me if I was related to you? I've read through some of your journal entries and I must say that the thing I am most impressed with is yours and Matt's positive attitude!! I know that it can't always be easy but what a beautiful thing to read people praising God and his goodness and recognizing His mercies in all the little things in life. You are truly an amazing woman and married an incredible man. Bless you both. I love you and join the hundreds who pray for you.--Your cousin, Tamany Lowry Brown (If you ever feel up to visiting Houston, we would love to have you!)
