Why Use Zoom Through CaringBridge?

Free Unlimited Talktime

Zoom video calls scheduled through your CaringBridge site are unlimited, allowing you to talk as long as you need.

Because the Zoom video calls are scheduled through your secure CaringBridge site, they offer an additional layer of privacy.

We’re here to help you. CaringBridge Customer Care is available by phone, email, and chat to help you through the process.

How it Works

Step 1

Create a CaringBridge Site or Visit Your Site

The first step in creating a Zoom call is making sure that your CaringBridge site is up and ready to go. Only authors or co-authors can create a Zoom call on a site.

  • Sign-in and visit your site. Sign-in

Step 2

Add Request Through the Planner

As an author or co-author to your CaringBridge site, you can create a Zoom call to update your family and friends. To create a call, visit the Planner on your CaringBridge site and click Add Request. A box will pop up that lets you select the type of request. You can schedule a Zoom call by either clicking on the blue Zoom icon, or through a General or Visit request.

Step 3

Create Your Zoom Call Request

Next, you will fill out your request form for the Zoom call. Complete as much information as you know (Request Name, Start Date, Start and End Time, Number of Participants (you can add up to 10 people)), and add any details you want included in the request. You can also make a Zoom call a repeating request for up to 90 days. When you are done, click CREATE.

Step 4

Add the Zoom Call to Your Calendar

Once you’ve filled out the form and clicked CREATE, a request created confirmation box will pop up on the screen. From here you can add the call to your calendar, and also go back and edit it if the details are incorrect.

Step 5

Invite Others to Join You

You’re almost done! Share the Zoom call details with your people via Facebook, Twitter, Email or simply by cutting and pasting the link to share in your own way.

If you need help at any time with your Zoom call, CaringBridge has Customer Care representatives standing by waiting to help.
