My amazing friend has been there for me through thick and thin over the years....
When Dr. Dodd went out of her way to ensure I was getting a shower, resting, and eating right because I was often left alone to care for Chandler and slept many nights on the side of his incubator or showered in the waiting room bathrooms. So she made a request for me to get a room at the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville. And Chandler's great grandparents, C.W. & Coreen Stokes always made a contribution in our name there every year. Recent years I've continued to donate at every McDonalds depository as well as our family of 4 collecting can tabs for partners in care as well. Chandler also received care at St. Jude's Children's Hospital thanks to never having a bill for the parents and the donations made there have been passed down for the care his brother Cecil Eli Dodd received as the result of a hunting incident with his recently deceased cancer patient and grandfather whom he was very close with.
