This is my story about Denise Mills

My first battle with Breast Cancer! I had family and friends who were very supportive and eager to help in the beginning. But, as life changed circumstances and availability changed too! This one particular friend ( Denise Mills ) no matter what hung in there regardless. She took me to the Cancer Center for therapy regardless to what she had going on. My life, I felt like was crumbling all around me. I had to leave my house due to alcoholism ( my husband ) and I felt so alone at one point. Due to my faith and a friend who cared about me to help me weather my milestones of life. I’m very grateful and thankful for what she did for me! It’s now 2023 and I just had cancer surgery again May 25, 2023! I say, let the fight begin! I refuse to be a victim. I am a survivor and I have a lot of faith and trust in God to know my work is not done. I’m a kindergarten teacher and I adore my students. And I will rise above this to continue teaching and providing a safe, fun and positive environment for children to thrive!!!
