Journal entry by Adam Young

Thank you again to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and kind words. All the positive encouragement helped keep my spirits up, especially when I would get the news that I would have to stay another couple days, then a few days more, then having to have surgery, etc. For every down, there were so many positive comments that made it easier for me to keep a positive outlook.

I still have a long way to go to recover. Probably wont be back to work until next week, starting by working from home for a few days before trying to make the trek into the office. The cold weather is really hard on the pneumonia/lungs, so staying in as much as possible for now.

Unrelated, but coming home and having my bed put together and my closets rearranged was a huge relief. My apartment looked soo different in a good way, compared to the mess I left it in when I went to the hospital. Huge thank you to Mom and Nikole for all their hard work to make that happen. I couldn't be more thankful for all their support. Another huge thank you to my Brother and his girlfriend Angelica for coming to stay with me in the ER the first night and visiting a few times after. That first night was really rough, and those two really kept me sane, and helped facilitate getting me out of the ER and into the MICU faster.

Sending my love and thanks back to everyone!

Cheers,
