Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Wyatt is battling Perthes disease in his left hip. We have been doing stretches three times a day since diagnose in December. At 8 years old though  Wyatt will need more aggressive treatment for the best possible outcome! We have chosen Dr. Standard at Sinai hospital for treatment. That treatment includes core decompression,stem cell therapy, tenatamy and an external fixator for 4 months. Pray for him and our family!

Friday Update

Wyatt is still doing well. Dr Standard was in to see him yesterday and was very happy with everything. They did pin care yesterday as well. One site was still actively bleeding but they assured us that is normal. They are presently cutting back on his epidural dosage, in hopes to wean him by noon. He will be taking pain meds by mouth now in preparation to be discharged!
