Dear Ali - Your Mom Connie lives in my heart and my head. I think of her often - when at a yoga class, thinking about one of the retreats we did, thinking of what she would say about National politics, about the NE Patriots. She was amazing, and so loving. Ali... my heart still breaks for you and the tremendous loss of your precious mama. I think of Connie so often, and her lessons of how to be joyful and present in an ailing body are daily reminders for me. The dragonfly pendant she gave me hangs on a hook by my bathroom mirror, so I see it dangling there every day. And when I wear it, I know she sits close to my heart. Gosh, how I miss her 💜 Those times when you two were here on retreat together are some of my very best memories as a yoga teacher and retreat leader. The two of you together represented to everyone what a parent-child relationship could be at its very finest... with so much tenderness, love, compassion, and silliness.
