Journal entry by Sarah Higgins

Will continues to respond to questions by nodding when asked a question. He squeezes hands and open eyes on command.  The doctors feel good about his brain.   He is now an insulin dependent diabetic.  They are very concerned about the fever.  It sometimes breaks, but then goes up.   The doctor said he is very pleased with the improvemtments and while we all were given a bit more hope yesterday, there are still many "ifs" according to the doctor today.  Today's doctor is hopeful, but he is definitely sure to remind me his recovery is still unknown.  Will always tells me home is where I am.  Dear Lord, he loves No View, please restore his health.  We need him -- we want him.  One of our songs is "Feels Like Home."  He is my  home.   Loving each other is the greatest blessing.  Those close to him know, even with his disabilities, he was happiest at his No View.  The doctor said there will be good days and days that should be better.   This is how covid works and what it does to someone's body.
