Journal entry by Keri jerome —
Willow is currently enduring her third week of radiation. She is tolerating the radiation well thankfully but struggles with the daily anesthesia. We have also been informed she will need six weeks of chemotherapy which she will start immediately after she finishes her radiation. Unfortunately as of last week Jason also had to return to work Tuesdays through Fridays. He makes the drive down on Friday nights after work to join them for the weekends and stay for Willows Monday treatments before returning to Saint Cloud for work on Tuesdays. The separation is had on the entire family but especially difficult for Willow. When she feels up to it Willow is still a playful happy little girl who enjoys playing games, hide and seek being her favorite.
Thank you for following Willow along her entire journey so far and for all your kind donations. We are very grateful to have this support system from all of you. As always we will continue to update you with new information.
