I am sad to hear about the loss of Bill. I spoke to him a few weeks ago as he was planning on visiting our "virtual" support group. He was a staple in our group and often the needed comic relief. When he stopped driving, I would pick him and take him to our group and I very much enjoyed our talks in the car. He always asked questions and was interested in what I was up to. He was genuine. He was kind. Though I have never met his family, his love for them (especially the grandkids) was undeniable. He beamed with pride when he spoke of them. He will be missed.

Bill was the first person I met a year and a half ago when I joined the Parkinson’s workout group through Providence. He was so nice and would make the funniest off-the-wall comments during class. After his heart surgery he was never the same. I kind of took him under my wings and watched over him during class & he called me his nurse .Often times I would pick him up and take him home after we worked out. I got to know him pretty well. After the Covid hit, we would call each other to make sure we were ok. The last time I talk to Bill he called me to tell me that he was going to get to see Hamilton on a big screen. He I talked a lot about his children and his four little grandbabies. I could tell he loved you all so much. He meant a lot to me and I will miss him so much... It won’t be the same without him!!!!

I met Bill ten years ago at my first Parkinson's exercise class . I looked forward to seeing him there every week and enjoyed his contributions to the class strange though they might be. We attended support groups , walks, parties and picnics together. and learned that he and my husband had grown up in the same city in Michigan. Bill was usually the "class clown" but at the same time he was always kind, caring, and a real gentleman. I will miss him.

What wonderful memories I have of Bill. Such a source of constant support and encouragement during my time at the Lake Oswego church, and such a positive role model of how to continue moving forward in faith even in the midst of challenges. He has left a powerful legacy.

Charity, Matt, Josh and Blake. Our hearts are heavy and we all grieve with you on the passing of your Dad. One of my favorite verses is: ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ” Praying that God will grant all of you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Bill had a beautiful life, unfortunately, he left us way too soon. He is at peace and not suffering and that is the blessing we should focus on. May his angel wings look after all of you and protect and guide you as he did during his lifetime, You guys were his world and he was so proud of all of you. His precious six granddaughters all knew and loved him. It's up to you to remind them and teach them the values he lived his life by so his legacy will continue. May He Rest In Eternal Peace until we meet again. 💙✝️🙏 Sandy and Ted Sadar
