William’s Story

Site created on March 24, 2019

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

We will update you here on William's latest journey with cancer.

On January 19th William was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. He had cancer in the past but  was previously in remission and it was under control. Sadly,  it came back.

William's initial reaction to treatment was so bad that for now, he has discontinued treatment.  Although chemotherapy and radiation are still on the table, William is most committed to his quality of life.  He wants to spend time with friends, fellow congregants of the First Unitarian Church of Hamilton, and his family. He wants to continue to get to know people and spend time with them. He is full of amazing stories and wants to share those stories with the people in his life.

If you would like to visit William, please make your visit very short. The best time to visit is between 1:00-4:00.  Please call him to schedule at 289-339-4369.
