I see notes from Jonathan re. the Colorado trip; glad you are having a good time. And your strength seems to be on the upswing as well. Great! Can't wait to ride with you and hear a "blow by blow" account. We're off to Davis Mtns Saturday, so if I miss you this week, will see you when we return. Hug Sharon for us!

Good to hear that your holiday in Europe went well and all the best with your riding in Colorado and also Sharon's music camp. Hope that your digestive system microbiome can improve over time. The complex medical knowledge about your condition that you have taken on board as your course of treatment continued, plus your resolve and joie de vivre stands you in good stead for now and the future. Chapeau! Greevz

If you are riding anywhere in Colorado, you are extraordinary; but, we all knew that. Both of you Enjoy!

I watched a documentary on fecal transplants a few months ago.....Europe is ahead of the US in that area. Interestingly....when I was a student nurse a doctor ordered that a patient receive a BM enema from another patient. We were horrified and the nurses refused to do it.....here we are 50 some years later.....doing just about the same thing. In the documentary I saw that a "thin" mother received the transplant from her "chubby" daughter. Over the next year....she mother gained about 20 lbs or so because of a bacteria in her daughter's fecal sample. It is a new science and exciting....I hope you get an answer to your issue soon. But in the meantime....so glad you are back to cycling and enjoying traveling! Let me know the next time you are in San Antonio!

So happy ya'll's trip to Europe was good and that you are doing very good in spite of the continuing gastro-intestinal issues. Sincerely hope you enjoy the riding in Colorado.

William, in spite of having a far from normal micro-biome, you seem to be having a very active physical schedule... good stuff!
All the best, Dennis and Cathy

I now know more about gut health than I'd ever hoped to have a reason to know. Love you both. Glad you feel secure enough to take separate trips. :-)
