William, I am so totally happy and thankful for your prognosis. I am going out on a limb when I say that your treatments to bring you to
a stage where the word "cure" is possible is a real miracle. Go show old chap, as I am sure you have heard a million times in the past.
Yes, there are some pain and uneasy feeling after the removal of the gallbladder. I had mine removed in 2010, and for 2 years after that, I often experienced the same symptoms that I did before the offending organ was removed. It got so bad a couple of times that I went to my internist to ensure that something else wasn't causing the pain. Anyway, keep on keeping on doing what you love and make sure Sharon gets lots of hugs and praise for being there as they say "thru thick and thin".
Brilliant news, thank you for sharing your exceedingly difficult but ultimately inspiring journey. Love to you both and enjoy that future you have clawed back through your tenacity, acceptance and willingness to embrace the unfamiliar whatever it was. Chapeau, Greevz and Chris
William, you and Sharon are amazing. I am so happy for you both. I believe that we are all fortunate that medicine has come this far. I’ve learned a lot from your postings and I know the doctors learned things from treating you that will help further their research. Thank you for using Caring Bridge and letting me be a part of your journey. Now get on your bike and RIDE; many hills and lots of wind await you my friend. Go get some rest Sharon!
