It was a shock to read this news but we are heartened that your symptoms have been diagnosed at an early stage and hopeful that you will be ‘sorted out’ and back on your bike in no time. We know you are a strong, fit person with a wonderful support team (Sharon being the boss) and that will help a lot. If there is anything we can do to help out at all let us know, we are only a short drive away. Much love to you both from Julie, Ivor and Lauren xxx

One thing we know is being in good physical condition helps in the fight and you are in fantastic shape. Fight on my friend and know you’ve got a huge cheer squad. You know a lot of survivors and it helps to be around them so don’t hesitate to reach out anytime.

William, definitely a shock to hear of your diagnosis. It looks like you caught it early so that's a positive. Someone I know in the oil industry recovered from pancreatic cancer so hang on in there. All the best Eddie and Judy.

William, thank you for sharing your journey and giving us a chance to support you and Sharon. At this early point it will be 'thoughts and prayers' from us, with the deep hope that your treatment will be swift and not much more disruptive than your diagnosis procedures. If time reveals a more disruptive and elongated treatment we can prepare meals, water gardens, accompany Sharon during your procedures, take vehicles for routine maintenance, etc.

William I know you'll dispatch this invader with great aplomb. (Ok no more Downton Abbey for me!) Really the fact that there was no mass found is very encouraging. I bet its in the beginning stages and perhaps would not even have been noticed were it not for the bile duct blockage. Best wishes and hugs to you.

Hi William, dad updated me. You have lands left to explore and hills left to climb. Catching it early means a good chance to fight whatever it is. Love and hugs to you and Sharon as you start this journey.
