William Corona was in a horrific car accident on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. William was airlifted to Children's Hospital of Atlanta, Egleston in Atlanta, Georgia with severe head trauma. He is currently on a ventilator in PICU with multiple skull fractures, facial fractures, and multiple other medical issues. Doctors are trying to relieve the pressure on his brain to perform surgery in the next few days.

Journal entry by Kristine Corona

August has flown by! William is back in school and I am back to work.

William is doing really well in school! He still struggles a little with getting upset but overall has done amazing. I cannot express my gratitude enough for his teachers and all of the people who look out for my sweet boy while he’s there. We are so incredibly lucky to be at Sixes. ⭐️

William still requires outpatient speech, occupational, and physical therapies. Unfortunately, there is no pediatric therapist close to us that accepts our insurance. We have been hoping to get an exception from insurance but it’s taking longer than we hoped.

Thank you all again for the continued prayers and support for William and our family. We have been truly blessed. ❤️
