Greetings. I knew Michael slightly but in a great way, maybe we went hiking or something. Can't recall but it was maybe as early as Moosilauke, where cheerful me offered to shuck corn and they gave me a 50 gallon trash can and said THANKS! Anyway I was sorry to hear of his passing, same thing killed my dear friend Andy Mann, the video artist. I wish the world had pulled together and D made a pivot from the current nosedive before he escaped to Fiddler's Green but maybe I'll see him there!

Deborah, I am so sorry for your loss! I have been thinking of you, McKinley, and Riley often and wish I could give you a big hug. I'm glad that Stef and I got to spend some time with Mike last October.

I have a list of friends that I plan to reach out to in order to honor Mike's memory. Thank you for prompting us to do that -- I will think of Mike with each call and text!

Deborah, I am so sorry to hear your news, and my thoughts are with you and your sons. I loved what you wrote about reaching out to someone from your past. Connections are everything. I am thinking about those kid activities with Mike years ago. Those were great times.
