So sorry that it’s taken me so long to get to this. Bob came home Wednesday morning and I feel like I haven’t sat down or had a moment to think since. First of all, Hallelujah!!  Second of all this man is going to make me crazy....obviously he’s himself again. We are learning together, I’m learning not to hover and he’s learning that his “caregiver” is almost 74. But the first night he was home we just laid in bed together and talked and talked and talked. It was so very sweet. He jets around on his walker and I keep checking in the bathroom mirror for more gray hairs. He goes up and down 13 stairs with two handrails and one nervous woman. I’ll get a few pictures and send them soon. Love you all. Remember God is good, all the time.

So tomorrow’s the big day. There will be pictures. Here’s another prayer request for all y’all. His blood pressure is running low, I mean LOW. Prayers to get him home healthy. I know you have all been so constant and faithful. One more push. Love you all. ♥️

Bob continues to surprise me. I was expecting him to come home at the end of March, nope...He’s coming home next week. The PT team can’t get over the speed of his progress. Never underestimate the power of God’s people praying. Pictures next week! ♥️

Happy Valentines Day to all. I’m spending my day with Joy, and my new friend here. First snow I’ve seen in 9 years!  Bob continues to improve and I continue to thank God for Bob’s healing. Once again thank you all for your prayers and support. I’m keeping this site active so I can send one final post....Bob coming HOME. Not sure when that will be, keep your eyes open for it. Love you all. ❤️Mary

So yesterday Bob had an appointment with a pulmonologist. He was transported there and I met him at the doctor’s office. Dr Wyshram is one of about 5 or 6 doctors in this practice who took care of Bob when he was in the first hospital. He is one of the doctors who called me every day with updates on Bob’s condition. The first thing he said to Bob was, “Look at you, I never expected to see you again.”  He did not expect Bob to survive. He asked Bob if a med student working with his practice could write a paper about Bob. Apparently The whole practice is buzzing about Bob. He’s amazed that Bob is not on oxygen and said his lungs sound good. Thank you all for your love and prayers. God is good, all the time. ♥️

Bob has moved to Avamere Crestview, 6530 SW 30th Ave, Portland OR 97239. Room # 22. He was assessed by the Occupational Therapist today and they’re saying 2 months of therapy. So pray for him that his recovery is powerful and swift. Your prayers and love have gotten us this far and I know they’ll get him to the finish line. I sent his address because I know he’d love a note of encouragement from all of you prayer warriors. They are challenging him with short term goals and Bob thrives on that stuff. Love you all♥️

Bob’s vertigo and nausea have gotten better. I’m pretty sure he’s going to be transferred on Tuesday to a nursing facility to concentrate on PT and COMING HOME!!  Not sure how long this will take but he’s already standing with help and transferring to a wheel chair. You’ll never know how much your love, prayers and encouragement have meant to me in some of the darkest days of my life. Love you all. Mary♥️

Bob is having vertigo and nausea that is limiting his physical therapy. Please pray that his healing doesn’t get stalled by this.
