Wendy thinking of you during this rough period. Stay strong and you will be rewarded with many more memories to enjoy with your family.
The treatment for this cancer is so much better than when Julie’s mom and my Dad went through it over 28 years ago. Been thinking about him quite a bit lately he would have been 100 on June 30.
Just imagine as you beat this, your grand kids can throw you a 100th birthday celebtation in 30+years would’nt that be awesome.
After reading your comment “I am starting over with a clean slate, like a newborn baby born into this world.” My first thought was, breast milk! You need breast milk! 😂 Of course that’s mostly what I think about these days after having a baby. I do pray that those good cells overcome the bad and you can once again have the kick-butt immune system you once had. Missing you and cheering you on at a distance!
Praying for you. I know how much fun it is to play in the dirt of a garden, too! But the gardens and dirt won't go away. So endure the house arrest for now, knowing all things will be better later. God is good. Jeanne (friend of Keith and Jennica...hockey!)
Wendy, Deb and I are praying for you and your family as you travel down this new road. We appreciate your updates and your heart as you seek God and live according to His ways. Blessings to you, let us know how we can help.
I have so appreciated updates on how you are doing, Wendy, and also appreciate the humor and honesty of both you and Jennica. I thought of you this morning as I read in 2 Chronicles 20:15b, 17b: "...Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army [cancer cells]. For the battle is not yours, but God's....Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD with give you,...do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.." Your cousin and cancer sister, Jan
Dear Wendy, It is so interesting to read your journal entries and see where you are at on this journey. You are in my prayers each day and I look forward to the day we are both cancer free!! Psalm 124:8. “Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
